They (230xx,234xx) are beta for WM6.5.1, the new OS available later this year, i think. Comparing new features, 6.5.1 is over 6.5, also look better and more finger friendly

Not 100% sure but around 98% atleast sure that's 21857 Build...
They are all 218XX (COM2) which is the release WM6.5 branch as mentioned before.

Ive just ported this rom for wizard (and made it WWE)
Stability and speed is such as on 17736 build.
I have no time to develop roms for wizard ( But i probably release some kind of base rom (without any customization) for other cookers.
I think this would be great if our great chefs could port this to our hermes

i would like to analyse it to see if the CE version and Build Number is original or if it has been edited.
it seems highly unlikely as the latest build number atm is 17742.0.2.x. I cannot tell u how i know this so dont ask,

but you also have to realise that a higher build number for one HTC device does not necesarily mean that its newer than current ones for the hermes.
the highest hermes build is 17742.X whereas wizard might be 179XX, but the hermes build is newer.

Hope your feeling a bit better after people were so nasty about your great work on Black 2.0 I joined recently and cant believe how people can just not read. I spent two days reading through the wiki and found more solutions in there than anywhere else. it can be ported on the hermes, but my point is that even though it has a "higher" build number, it does not mean its the latest official build for the hermes.
also, this ROM is in japanese too, not WWE english.

So I ported it to wizard and made it wwe without any problem.
When i release it you will be able to see that i use almost all SYS part from that build. But i had to use wwe mui (from 17736) and some other files to build wwe version.
To tell the truth i didn't see any advantages of that build..just quite stable and fast as 17736 or 17740.

I have received word that this WM6 build 17913 is not an official built, in otherwords its been faked...... and the work that went into faking it was more than a HEX edit.

Oh the joy's of Microsoft build numbers, they seem to make it impossible to tell whats newer than what even if people are faking/hex editing roms
there is no hex editing... newest OS is 5.2.1413 (Build 17913.0.3.0)
I ported the coredll.dll to universal and changed the original JPN OS to CHS for a fieand
Compare the new Office packge, it is definitively new

From what i've seen on the cooking scene, Different core's come from different phones and different sources.. No changelogs attached... It really would be up to the beta tester or user who shares the dump to attach anything that came from microsoft on it.. Haven't seen one myself!

from history we've learned that in the microsoft world, higher number is newer but doesn't mean better. I can be new features or just new bugs
That's why I wanted to know if there is an official microsoft changelog to know what changed in the build... so that way we can choose for example between bulilds 20270 and 20273 based on that....

20273 came from Diamond phone, 20270 not official. I think it was beta released.

Going through the forum, I understand that P3300 / M650 could get quite slow after being upgrade to WM 6.5 (compare to WM6 Black & Blue 4.3 for example).
=> Is it still true with the last ROM released ?
Moreover, I just read that Microsoft has officially launched today the official WM 6.5 version.
=> Can we expect that soon new modified ROM will be released based on official WM 6.5 and then expect big improvement (more stable and quicker ?)
Last point, how fast and stable is GPS on WM6.5 (using Tom Tom 7), since I am experiencing problem with my actual ROM WM6 Black & Blue 4.3 (have to "soft-reset" my HTC each time before to launch Tom Tom 7, otherwise is losing satellites after a few seconds...).

There are many ROMS out there based on 'official' 6.5 builds. The phones that ship with 6.5 have builds from the COM2 branch which have the old interface, but we also have official builds of 6.5.1, which is a COM 4 branch, and which has GUI improvements.

The builds that have been coming out have been leaked out by trusted sources. Check out Development & Hacking forum.
Project 6.5 Base is what I was working on, the ROM is ready so I have to change my sig now
All those are the ROMs that I have cooked. RtR Base V2 is WM 6.1 Clean ROM, with minimal add on apps.
RtR Manilla 1.0 is a M2D ROM, similar to the HTC Touch Viva.
RtR 6.5 Base is a clean 6.5 ROM, with the latest build of 6.5 and very few add on apps for faster ROM.
The ArteMEGA is the latest ROM i've cooked, it's got software from the recently launched HTC MEGA.
If you want to flash a new ROM you have to unlock your phone first by flashing USPL. Then you can flash any ROM of your choice!
So, just to summariza, I should install:
1) RtR Manilla 1.0 if my first wish is to have the Manila (diamond style) user interface
2) RtR 6.5 Base is I don't care about HTC propetary interface, and I want the last microsoft wm with its features...light and stable since is a base.
3) ArteMEGA if I want the last microsoft wm as well as the last HTC user interface and I don't care toom uch about speed...

Just to know, does the release number "23060" for the ROM W 6.5 base is a good way to know if it's clean/last version ?

All builds are the same, it's the cooks job to make it as speedy as possible. As far as I know, the 23060 and 23420 builds have some issues with the dialog buttons, but these have been adressed. Read the latest builds thread for more info.

Officially HTC will never publish 6.5 ROM update for Trinity since this upgrade will only be made for few newer devices and Trinity is not among those. There are many versions (builds) of 6.5 much like there are many versions (builds) of 6.1 WinMo. Start experimenting with few 6.5 ROM made here until you find one that best suites you and your needs.

Well I have already ported the latest COM3 branch build (23071) for Trinity/P3600i, I just haven't posted any ROMs from it yet as I am currently overhauling my kitchen (although I am running my p3600i on it right now).
But here are the 23071 SYS+ROM files and you can combine them with any of the ervius Visual Kitchens that are available for Trinity (Tomme, SuperSport, Chanvi, etc ... take your pick).
Cook up a 23071 rom of your choosing
Who knows from where WM 6.5 OFFICIAL can be downloaded?
Official for the hermes? Nowhere. WM6 is the latest 'official', it's an older device.

This is still a custom rom and I thik it can not be used for initial flash

If it will not work, how did all of the 6.5 cooked roms manage to run? The hermes just barely meets the minumum specs.
Actually it's not going to be released "officially" because it's an old device, and support is going away for it.
6.0 is the last official release for our device.
The information written above we have from HTC E-Club.
When I asked when will be the official wm6.5 Hermes.
