Giving away my i-mate, had it for 4-5 years, ordered from expansys back then, unlocked, repaired 3 years ago after sinking it (new parts & upgrades), still working but old, I guess for parts if someone still uses these phones and needs smthg. PM me! Cheers!

Hey, I did not take my phone apart, so I have no idea how the flexcable looks and I am not going to take this thing apart or charge money for it. If you want to do it yourself, take the whole thing and play with it on your own.

get yo' free WiFi calling without calling into C/S! Does not work with older plans, if you do not see it at my.t-mobile.com you need to get a grandfathered feature added. I have the Even More 3000 Families plan.
works great with the new KL1 update. WiFi calls also have much better voice quality.
Go into my.t-mobile.com, under manage go to change services and you should see the WiFi calling option under extra minutes.

When I bought mine this weekend, they gave me unlimited WiFi-calling for free with my plan. I was a new customer as well. Got the 500 minute Value plan with 5GB of data.

I'm glad they are advertising it. Unlimited WiFi calling minutes is a great deal for us and T-Mobile (offloads the local towers, we get free minutes)

Didn't advertize it. I went in not expecting to get it and the sales person was like "So I added free unlimited wifi calling..." and I was like score, and then double score today when I saw the OTA update was being distributed. My bedroom is in the basement of my house, so this is a great feature for me. Verizon would drop my calls, or just make me completely impossible to understand to the other end of the line all the time.
T-Mobile has been the best in-store experience I've had so far between it, Sprint and Verizon.

Bought my phones a month ago and I couldn't add it online. I ended up chatting with a CS representative and they added it.
Now the wait for the ROMs begins. C'mon JUGGERNAUT!

Unfortunately, doesn't seem to be available on the Wal-mart prepaid plan.

So is there and app you have to install after enabling it on you account?

If ur on that plan u should be using groove ip + google voice to make calls over wifi...click on my name and read my other posts about it

Right, this is for contracted T-Mobile subscribers. Prepaid doesn't have this add-on.

yea i've been using grooveIP + google voice and i have $30 walmart prepaid plan and it works good on wifi and 4g.

I don't see it either and I made a recent change to my plan. But then I'm on a family plan so I don't know if that matters and I'm the main account holder. I guess I'll give T-mobile a call cuz all 3 of my lines have wifi-calling.

Initially this was the plan but since WP7 has no way to mass install apps, changing phones is always a pain.

If you need to reinstall apps, you can always use the marketplace order history website. You just click install for each one and it will remotely install it back onto your phone.

I was assuming he meant the entire nature of this post. It is a little useless. I mean, you bought it, now you want to pay more to get the white one? Just get a white case.

There's a restocking fee? I believe there's a 30 day buyers remorse thing with ATT that allows you to return any device without a restocking fee. That's an a Premier rep told me anyways.

I heard there was a restocking fee of somewhere around $35 because they have to sell the device as a "refurb" unit after it has been used or so said the rep who sold me my phone.

That doesn't included trading in for a different color. They told me this when I purchased the unit. You can return it and you can exchange for a different phone, but not a different color.

Yes try the ReInstaller App. Will be much easier.

Just pay the $35 restocking fee and get the white one.
I almost settled for black one but held off for 5 days for cyan to get back in stock in local store. I was calling the store every single day. LOL

I installed the app, and it accesses my location, network communication, personal information, storage, phone calls, system tools, network communication and system tools. Should I uninstall it?

Focus groups are generally alright to participate in, but I wouldn't do this one. There is a way to see what data is transmitting from apps like this, just can't remember how to do it.

This is NOT a good company or app.
I kept the app active for 45 days.Never got paid.Support takes forever to answer unless you say something that pisses them off then they'll answer overnight with some unhelpfulness.
After the 30th day active I emailed them asking about the VCC reward to which they replied:"Rewards are processed at the beginning of each month,any rewards earned this month will be paid the first week of next month."
Waited until half of next month passed and emailed them again,their reply:"We will try processing payments sometime this month,if you have successfully had the app running and qualify for an incentive you may get it this month,unfortunately there is not currently a way for us to review your account to check for completeness at this time."
2 months later,still no reward at all.They stopped answering me.Guess I was a sucker for letting them track my every move or whatever they were looking for.Good thing all I did was browse porn on that phone for those 2 months so the jokes on them I guess.

just from the craigslist ad posting you quoted I would not have bothered.
Especially if they didn't give you reasons to why they wanted all those permissions. Just lacked information.

T-Mobile Should Die

I have had T-Mobile for quite some time now. I assumed they would follow the same pricing plan as all the other US carriers for the GS3. Not so much. They are charging $130 more for the GS3 than all the other US carriers. This is unacceptable as far as I am concerned. I might be switching to US Cellular in the near future.

While a corporation is a juristic person, they cannot die only go bankrupt.
And since T-Mobile and AOL share the same trait that they are practically invincible and timeless... big chance.
However I don't understand the point of your flame.
It's a corporate's given right to charge whatever they want for a feature, product or service (unless of course it's FRAND or otherwise restricted).
Just as it's your right to compare and choose between companies and pick your carrier.
It's like you're flaming about one grocery store selling the bread for 5p more than the store across town.

Also, if you run the numbers, you'll find its a LOT cheaper overall because the plans are so much cheaper. Just to move our 2 voice lines to minimum family plans (we've got 600+ mins now, but only use 100 or so) and basic data to AT&T was going to cost $50/mo MORE than tmob.
Also, IIRC you can go value and get it around the same price-point as other providers if you pay $20 extra a month on your bill.

Exactly. I didn't think twice about the higher price b/c of the massive discount. only thing closer is Sprint, but I won't see LTE in Denver for a year+.

Ordered my SGS3 Pebble Blue with 32 GB int. storage. I ordered by phone at 6:15 am Eastern Time. I paid with tax a little over 400 bucks.I get 50 back with mail in rebate I think. Very excited about getting this beast. Now I'm off to find a great case and there are tons available.

There is also a T-Mobile GSIII forum now to express your 'feelings' in. Just saying.
