no matter what I put in how maximum it should take to delete my call log (1 week, 1 month, 1 year, or never) its seems it can only take certain amount of call logs not even dat but certain amount say 200 calls in history 1 call after this & it will delete that oldest call & put the new call in line 1 so in other words every call I make after the 200th in history will delete that call in queue 200 & put the new call in queue 1 (LIFO principle)
no answer yet, i need to have this problem fixed i rely on my call history for at least 3 months but my mobile keeps deleting the records based on maximum number not date ?!?!?!?!
Hi All
I've been on the phone to O2 trying to find the code that will extend the period of time my phone rings before passing to voicemail. They gave me some great long code etc but it doesn't seem to work. Does anyone have any ideas about how to do this on the orbit ?
Jeff
I'm interested in this too.
I remember the old days of a 'normal' phone where you would just set the 'Divert if not answered' and the like and it gave you a length of time to ring before diverting. there doesn't seem to be anything like this on the orbit though..at least not that I've found yet.
Hi, did you tried this ? :
1. Settings -> Phone -> Services
2. Call Forwarding -> Get Settings
3. Forward phone calls only if:
- No answer : (Voicemail number)
- Forward after (time)
Should do what you need.
for the most providers there is a code you have to dial with your phone to switch this on or off. ask your provider or search the homepage of your provider for this

worked for me like a charm cheers Mate
First you need to find your voicemail deposit number. Call your service provider's Customer Services department as they will know it.
PLEASE NOTE: deposit and retrieval numbers are usually different.
IE: my Voicemail retrieval = 121, My Vodafone Voicemail Deposit = +447899xxxxxxx
Once you've determined your voicemail number,
dial *61*(voice mail access number)**(time in multiples of 5 seconds)# and then press SEND/DIAL.
For example, if my voicemail access number is +447899111111 and I want it to ring for 30 seconds before being forwarded to voicemail,
I would type: *61*+447899111111**30#
It is my understanding that the maximum time a phone can ring for before being transferred to voicemail is 30 seconds.
I find this information useful because not all phones have the option to set the transfer time built into their settings/interface.
Is there some software that will record the time/usage of outgoing calls, texts, internet usage?
i am always going over my monthly allowance and the orange's automated service is never accurate
a software that can record the number of calls - separating incoming and outgoing and also text messages and internet usage would be fantastic!
I'd also like something like the thing mentioned above.. but it also needs an option to make anything less then 1 minute to be noted as 1 minute. and anything above as seconds.
It's cause the providers in this country always charge the first minute and then per second.

Hi there,
I have a mobile plan with 250 outgoing calls, 250 SMS and 500MB per month. It would be very useful to have a widget to show me the number of the calls, SMS and data I made in the current month=billing period.
I know about Statdroid and Call Meter NG but they show you these data only when you open the app. I'd prefer to see this on my screen everytime before I call, sms or surf on the internet.
Any suggestions?
Thanx a lot for any comments, suggestions, help...
Pavana
Any way to raise the call log limit more than 500?
