Reduce Album memory consumption:

- TF3D is fast!
- Nice base because you're using Gen.Y kitchen
- I am testing how the memory evolves. My memory stays at 75% now, nice for the moment
- No enlarge start menu ?
- Notification enhancements shows a wrong battery level ?
- With removing some tabs (Footprints, Music, Photos, Stocks) the memory is great : 58%
- Why include PIM Backup ?
- Total Commander is in german. (Fix attached below, the error is showing one time, no worry)
- When you push the task manager button on the today, the clock flips automatically without reason ?
EDIT =
- the message tab on a contact causes TF3D restart.
- Location Settings are broken.
- Quick links on internet tab don't work, maybe because opera isn't include on the ROM ?

Version 0.88 beta was built from scratch with newest SYS and XIP port 20755. I'm asking you to test the ROM. I am sure I missed more than enough bugs which need to be fixed. I used the ROM for the last couple of days and tried to fix the major bugs - so it should at least be usable. Please report any bugs as PM or in this thread as detailed as possible. That said, I hope you like and enjoy this beta version.
What makes this ROM special?
Like many other ROMs these days, my ROM has Manila2D as a today plugin cooked in. But unlike most of the other ROMs, I didn't include all of the Manila2D package but only the basic files to run Manila2D with the basic tabs properly. If you want to use the Picturetab e.g. you have to install a CAB after flashing the phone. Same for the YouTube player... and so on. This way I saved much program memory. After system start my ROM has ~27MB free program memory and without activating any other tabs and with normal daily use you will still have ~23-24MB of free program memory. This means you can operate the device without slowing down considerably.
This version is published as a business version, because problems with removing programs from the new 20924 SYS. I will publish the light version without Office etc. as soon as I can fix the problems.

Same problem encountered here, I cannot read sms in chinese even though I have installed the chinese font package.
I think it has something to do with the default system font you use or maybe other reasons.

Yes, thats possible. I dont use Tahoma as default font. I will post another package with the default Tahoma system font today or tomorrow ...

I too would appreciate a version with the default font if it came out. If not, then this is fine.
After trying all the ROMs with M2D cooked in, I had determined they were all too slow and I was about to go back to HTC Home. Then I decided to do a clean install of tnyynt's SEXY ROM and then manually install M2D to try to get a faster version. Well, I did, and it was faster. Then tonight I figured I'd try this cooked version and I have to say wow! MUCH quicker than the version I was able to create by installing manually, and MUCH faster than the other cooked versions I've tried so far. None of that long lag between tapping and reaction.

I deactivated some of the tabs, like google maps, photos and music, but the Internettab should work fine right off flashing. You only have to install Opera to make the big 'world-link' working.
I think I will include the Manila2D Customizer found here in the next version of the ROM. XML editing for the tabs wont be necessary any more.

This ROM is based on tnyynt's ROMS. He's made three P3600i versions you can get here. They have the blue theme, and dialer, etc...

Made just before my "departure", I will be back in few days. The Sense update hopefully fixed the lock issues that you may have encountered as well as the weather blocking reminders. But it isn't CFC'd for now so it may take up more RAM and storage space than before. That's why I removed Ahen Start Icons from the Sense edition of ROM.
Classic Dialer might not work with the latest Sense just yet but I'm working on that.
## NOTE- On 1st Boot Don't do anything as XDA_UC will complete the Customisation process and Reset the Device.

Q: What can I do to lower my RAM usage?
A: Let's see a few tips:
Close open programs (use Task Manager or Showcase or you can install ArkSwitch or anything else that you like).
Clean up RAM with CleanRAM in Apps folder
Disable HTC dialer using Dialer Switcher in Tweaks - 5-7MB of RAM saved
Disable Ahen Start Menu Icons using Remove Programs in Settings - you'll gain 6-8MB of RAM! (Can be re-added using a tool in Tweaks)
With these, you can eventually get to nice 46% used RAM after boot with Titanium!
Q. Incoming SMS doesn't make any sound, the phone just vibrates. Where can I set the sound?
A. SMS ringtone and other tones can be set in Start -> Settings -> Sounds & Notifications, tab Notifications. SMS event is named "Messaging: New text message".
Q. I don't like new Starry theme...
A. I have included the old Wooden background as well. You can select it under Start -> Settings -> Home.

custom taskbar is of tsowen 6 v 3.
clock and date are in lite and full versions, its from PD Clock today plugin.
and herez the background.
Tried the clean version, seems to work fine. But version number is 21038? Will try the lite and maybe the full version too.

yeah i noticed this as well, but apart from this its a great clean and fast rom
i'm using the lite version with rhodium manila v1d and it works great, i also installed rhodium volume control & notifications + htc gsensor
the only thing missing is rhodium comm manager/wifi settings, is there a cab for those?

yes it is. and its reason is the nuenobar application used to remove lower taskbar. have been looking for a solution. as soon as i get it will fix it.

the default nadavi communication manager is already there.
Restore of boot screen
Since there's an automatic installation of a new splash screen with this ROM (the one with the three 'balls'...), couldn't please give us a guide to how to restore the original splash screen? Thank you.

cool fast rom. seems stable and smooth. but have a bug in lite rom, always in call the volume of speaker goes down and then i have to again and again move it up to hear.

i had the complete files in my lappy but its gone for repair.
soo herz d rough tutorial:
1. Create the wallpaper 480 x 640
2. Convert the image to a .bmp (just use paint and save as a 24 bit bmp)
3. then use the tool to convert to .nb (Follow the instructions up to the .nb)

4. Use a nbh tool to convert from .nb to .nbh (you may have to change the xml file after running it once. I just changed the Kaiser info to the Diamond info)

Firtstly what I want to say before you started to download ROM is that now Prime ROM has changed, from now on it will have full Sense(and Phone Canvas too) functionality but it wont have extra apps like office, windows live, YouTube, M$ MyPhone, Chome and so on....
Also I have ADDED Chome(Titanium) in Full version, and Clean ROM will be added tomorrow in Ultra Lite ROM Thread and you will see why!
Bug in Prime and Full version: Opera will open on every startup, just close it and thats it
If after some softresets you can't get Sense 2.1 runing, go to settings-home-uncheck Sense 2.1, move back to Homescreen(it should be empty) and than go back to start-settings-home-and check Sense 2.1
Also Sense 2.1 isnt the fastest for a first few minutes, but after that it is TURBO(much, much faster than Manila 2.1) fast

Hi, there is a simply trick in registry, that will solve the issue. It´s not WM 6.5.1 problem, but conflict with new Showcase Suite... I´ve already did it and it works...
So to use with spbMS3, you need to REMOVE "Manila" from SUITE_PositionFix_WinClasses in order not to have the windows taskbar overlay spbMS3 shell.

Music lag while device is in sleep:
this is because i set cpu to 19MHz while it is in sleep to save battery to change that

I love this ROM. Very stable...and fast.....can you atach Titanium, Manila for your ROM?
Excellent rom & no issues so far, running the manilla cab and a few extras and stable at 58% memory give or take - that's a good 20% less than any other custom rom with 6.5+tf3d I've tried so far, so kudos!!!
Not so keen on the vista icons in the start menu so patched them but there's a few refuse to change but I'm still more than happy.
No bugs found so far, lets see over a few days

you are welcome , but that's strange .. battery life suppose to be fine because i've improved it already .. actually i didn't noticed that because i have a 1800 mAh battery
what radio do you use ?
any way 3G, Wifi, bluetooth are extremly eats power...you will save battery life as the phone is not constantly switching between 3G and 2G.
you can also try this : go Advanced config> Power Management and disable these :
- SD memory power
- MMC memory power
- NAND memory power
Then Close Advanced config without soft Reset and go back Enable them again Then soft reset

for now i'm wrighting to say that even if your thread does not have that many posts we all apreciate your work and in my opinion is what i was aspecting for: a fully customizable rom(by the way very daring for you: no manilla of titanium ,like it)

Only two things I notice, the battery indicator not always accuarate, stays at a certain figure, say 90% for a long time, reboot then true figure shows true figure of 70% for example....ran it all morning and thought 90% since charge yesterday was not correct - 70% is good tho!
Also, when running the manilla cab + customizer (TF3D 0.6.7) the phone takes a while before manilla boots, odd as I never had this big delay on earlier roms?

i niticed also baterry indicator problems because spb shell indicator is accurate and showing less battery..some times even the clock is behind on winmo taskbar..

this is not about battery life, i guess its just about accurate .. because i haven't noticed any problem with my battery life.
i've added a fix that should solve this bug. please check #3

- If you want to create a shorcut for Navigon (as I am using it, I am too lazy to create the shortcut each time I hard reset my phone)

- If you want to delete the MMS Templates (My Documents/Templates).

- If you want to use Gen.Y DualBOOT
- If you want to reaarange the shorcut of the Start Menu.

The connection setup auto launcher will show up after the second boot up.
You have the possibility to run the config script (located on start menu or start menu/system, it will allow you to reconfigure your phone as you can configure it at the end of the XDA_UC).

navigon and city advisor are just shorcut on start menu. You need to have already the .exe on your internal storage, at the place I specified in the first post.
For the bluetooth icon I think it is a build issue, I will post a new rom with 23529 next week (with more free ram, I am trying to win some).
In this new rom I will use the standard titanium with the weather.

Howto disable the default lockscreen?
Edit:
You can disable autoLock via Registry by changing the following key values
HKCU/ControlPanel/BackLight/AutoDeviceLockEnable
set 0 to Disable
set 1 to enable

Wallpaper using phm reg. editor is cutted off the lowest part!

Just a little bug about Albums, get error - HTCAlbum is not a valid PPC appl. -, so if you can fix it, your ROM will be great

I don't have this issue with album, I will upload a new version with an other version of album, you will tell me if it is correcting this issue.
New version before the end of the week end (if I am successfull).
Noticed that the default microsoft lockscreen consumed almost 5 up to 6 Mb of Program Ram after it's first used, as a consequence on my next release the autolock will be configurable as want the final user.

Maybe because of certs as I can't launch neither HTCAlbum nor PhotoPicker, Uploader.exe.
Better to have Ezinput because the new MS keyb. doesn't have xT9 and other languages
Is it a bit too low with PagePool 6MB ?
Since you already use XDA_UC after the second boot will it be better to run further the start menu grouping?
Next release will have :
- New keyboard with language selection during XDA_UC.
- PagePool to 10Mb.
- XDA_UC will run at first boot.
- SYS/XIP updated (23549/23547).
- Some programs updated.
- New taskbar.
Everything's ready excepting some issue with the keyboard. As soon as I find a solution for this, and a few tryout, I will upload it.

Hi,
what kind of keyb., the new Ms keyb. or the well known Ezinput or Fingerkeyb.?
With PagePool I think better to use 8 Mb; well balance btw. speed and performance
Please do consider to update the ComManager to 2.9 with HTCAppl 1.14 so you have the option - Wifi-On-Demand -
