Can't install .net Framework - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Windows Mobile General

Hi,
I use the EnergyROM with WM 6.5 and Manila 2.1 with Windows 7 x64.
If I connect the TP2 to my PC and if I choose to install the .net CF 3.5, the installation abort by 100%
Error: There was an error... Supportinformation: 3
Someone an idea?

check the Cabs, tweaks, & other stuff sticky. there's a link to the .NetCF 3.5 CAB that you can install straight to the phone.

I use the cab from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=347537&page=1 and it doesn't work :-/ the same error. I think that this isn't aproblem of the cab.

Dumb question, doesn't the ROM come preinstalled with 3.5? IIRC, it does.

It think also, but if I want to start the Bing App, I see the following message:
The new version of Bing requires -NET cfompact Framework 2.0.
To upgrade to .NET CF 2.0 now, click 'Yes'. To go back to the old version of Bing, click 'No'. ... The .NET CF 2.0 Upgrade process has failed, please retry by clicking on ...

The Problem is, that the message dialog is so big, that I can't click on the buttons because there are under the screen.

i get the same message no clue any help out there?

tried the same, didn`t work also for me. waiting for the working cab, would be very nice
Here: cab file
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=474406&page=597
Net CF 3.7
the cab works fine on my Tytn II, but I don't know the differences with the previous version 3.5
Any official statements already? Don't want to add any beta crap in my ROMs ...
What's new in this release?
Files, Modules?
In this OEM package there is only a single module (netcfd3m3_5.dll). In the original .NetCF 2.0 and the updated .NetCF 3.5 OEM packages there are six modules. My understanding is that it is better for memory if files are module'd (?) so can any of the other files be converted?
Andy
Cooked into my ROM and fine so far also.
HERE you will have the current .NET Frameworks including v3.7
Cook into ROM that have v3.5 before, up to now running smoothly.

No manila editor for V3?

I tried m9editor and ManilaEditor 0.2, and both canceled trying to install them. Could it be that I have TouchFlo V3? Is there another editor for V3?
Thanks in advance.

where were you trying to install them? on the phone? you do know that these 2 apps are to be used on your PC, right? i don't recall an installation process for the PC. i simply copied to a folder on my PC and created a shortcut to launch the apps.
Thanks Cortez, at first I didn't know that m9editor was supposed to be run in the pc. I tried it but again it returns an error code: 0xc0000135.
Same error happens with Manila Editor 0.2.

don't know for sure but you might have to install the Microsoft .Net software from MS. check the threads that support both tools to confirm my suggestion.
Are you saying there is a .NET 3.5 framework for the PC???
What I have and installed was a .cab for the phone. I'll check it ...

Yes, WM has a file explorer built-in. You should find the icon for it just listed in the start menu, and/or in the all programs list

Ohhhboy, that one is beyond me just yet. I honestly haven't yet messed with any of the "upgrade sense without a whole new ROM" options that are available now, so I really don't know what the requirements or methodology are behind them. I understand what you're asking, I just don't know what you can and can't do with those

The first cab below should upgrade you to where you need to be. In fact, while you're at it, I highly recommend you run the other two I've attached here, if you don't have them already...they help a lot with overcoming the TP2's memory management shortcomings
ok it works after the net update to device. What options do I pick besides tilt2. Can i do 3d? What r the other two files? Dont want to alienate this phone too much if I sell it later.
How do i get sense or does it not work?

I haven't run this install, so I can't tell you what options to pick. Are you asking about the other two files I posted, or a different two files?
the 2 after net was my question?

.NET 3.5 Framework - which install .cab?

I proceeded to install .NET 3.5 CF (NETCFSetupv35.msi) and when it got to the point of wanting to install to the device, I checked the .NET installation directory to find the following CABs:
NETCFv35.ppc.armv4.cab
NETCFv35.wce.armv4.cab
NETCFv35.wce.mipsii.cab
NETCFv35.wce.mipsiv.cab
NETCFv35.wce.sh4.cab
NETCFv35.wce.x86.cab
NETCFv35.wm.armv4i.cab
My question is, which is the .cab I should use to install .NET 3.5 to my Touch HD? And, is it safe for me to delete the rest from the list? I just want to keep the one .cab to install .NET 3.5 to my Touch HD, without having to go through the whole setup (NETCFSetupv35.msi) on my desktop every time.
