I was constantly getting dropped to edge so i decided to try to flash a new radio
Bad choice and it going to crazy on me so I flashed a couple more. And the problem just got worse and worse.
Right now i factory reset it and flashed it with a signed Bell rom from HTC but its still going EDGE on me....
SO what do I have to do to return to stock radio??? I though flashing a signed rom will revert it back. my phone is even unrooted now....
Help.
I think you're right, that flashing the shipped/official ROM flashes the radio also. What does it day under Settings>About phone>Software information>Baseband version?
Make sure under menu/setting/WirelessNetwork/mobileNetwork/ that use 2g only is NOT checked.

it says 12.28b.60.140eU_26.03.02.18_M3
OK NVM I found what was causing the Problem. Turns out one of the ATT towers was getting fixed. I plugged my sim in every phone I had and they were all going crazy on edge.
Yet another reason people should call their carrier first to make sure it isn't an issue on their end

Ya I wish I had. But the 1 hour after I flashed a new radio it happened.. so i was like **** RADIO Problem.......
Now i gotta reroot reflash and reinstall........ DAMN U ATT
haha yeah, I had the same at my old place... I didn't check if 3g was working before I got home one day and when I tried to call or text it gave an error. I still could call my carrier but they didn't know anything about repairs or whatever. 1 week later the problem was solved though. Had to set my phone at 2g only during that week
Can anyone share there firmware version for a stock UK T-mobile HOX. Not only do I not get the 1.28 upgrade (surprise surprise) but I seem to be on a version no-one else seems to mention 1.26.110.5. Can anyone help me confirm this is the standard t-mobile version. Cheers.
it's mentioned a few times in the HOX branch - think it's one of the first impressions threads. I did a thread search on your version and found a few mentions.

Thanks for the reply. I did search but didn't really find the answer to my question. I will try putting it another way.
Does anyone have a STOCK UK T-MOBILE HOX that has a firmware version different to 1.26.110.5 or are we always going to be massively behind even the other carrier branded phones with updates.
Didn't really want to root yet but it is looking more like the only answer.
110 is the standard code for T-mobile UK, so yes, you seem to have the correct T-Mobile UK ROM.
Yes, it'll probably be a while till you get the 1.28 update as t-mobile are especially thorough in their testing before they release a ROM update. However, they're no worse than orange since they joined together.
I can confirm i'm on the same software and on T-mobile UK. I rooted because in the 4 years of being with t-mobile they never release a software update anywhere close to an expected date.
Some folk are still waiting for updates to Froyo on phones apparently.

my service is absolutely horrible and I was told that it will be down until next week.
my pregnant wife is almost due and I need my phone working at all times in case of any emrgency
I saw a method to flash verizon's radio before, can any one point me to the right direction?
I tried search and google but I must be wording it wrong because I can't seem to find it...
thanks in advance guys.
I have never heard of the radio swap. Not sure if it would brick or not. But I do know you can use a verizon prl to force roam on verizon towers the whole time. Havent used it on my note but I am sure its around here somewhere. Last time I used it on my epic touch it was a 001 prl for verizon. Goodluck

Yea, it's a force roam on Verizon towers. I will do research to find the video for the files.
Ok so I recently moved across the country and my pre-paid cell service I was using before is not supported in this state. I have been to every pre-paid provider in town and they are shocked they cannot seem to get my phone on their prepaid networks. I am using the toro CDMA Verizon branded GN. Everyone seems to agree they cannot activate my phone because I am running Cyanogenmod 11 and if I would just go back to Stock ROM I would be fine. Even people on the cyanogen mod forums.
The problem is I cannot seem to get this phone flashed back. I tried all 3 of the galaxy nexus verizon CDMA roms at this link:
EDIT: it won't let me post links because I am new. I was linking to the google galaxy nexus roms page.
Odin crashes whenever I try and flash. I spent 4 hours yesterday googling solutions to Odin crashing and none of them work for me.
My next thought was using Clockwork to reflash my phone to stock........................but I cannot find any roms flashable by clockwork.
Can anyone offer a link or advice? I NEED a damn phone here. I gave my self a cutoff limit of tonight. If I can't get this phone back to stock I am just going to buy a new phone tomorrow.
Thanks.

Who uses CDMA other than Verizon Sprint and us cellular? Even then i don't think you can take Verizon phone onto either of those carriers. That'll be your problem You can flash whatever rom you want but that doesn't change the radios.

Does anyone have the stock OEM rom for the sm-n910a?
I have to do a factory flash, I ran into an issue with my unlock code and locked the phone on the network.
The ATT rep said that doing a factory flash will reset the counter and I will then be able to unlock the device.
I looked on Samobile and didnt find it.
Ive seen it on here somewhere but Im at work and dont have all day to search for it.
Thanks
Shawna
Still looking for the proper stock file
Hello,
I am still looking for the proper stock odin file for my sm n910a. I got a file from a thread here earlier and attempted to flash it twice and failed. Any one have some suggestions as I cant find it on sam mobile
?
If you're anywhere near a Best Buy store that has a Samsung Experience section in it, they can reflash it if you can't find what you need.

Ya there is a Best Buy near be but im pretty sure it doesn't have one. I talked to ATT and they attempted to look one up for me and they said there wasnt one in my area. Any other suggestions?
Go to a AT&T support center, (not to be confused with a retail store) they can backup your phone and reflash it
i was able to sing a Samsung experience store and have a factory flash done. its ATT being a bungs of****. I just want to get the thing unlocked for when i travel to aruba next week. I AGREE WITH EVERYONE ON HERE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR ATT IS HORRIBLE. I've called 3 times and the guy i bought the phone off of who was the original owner of the phone has had to call 3 times. im starting to check and see if i can get a different version of the note 4 to see if it can run on Straight Talk because the whole way that ATT has this note on lock down is B.S. and even going through them for the unlock process makes me want to throw the phone out the window.
