does anyone know if I can install T-mobile firmware on my International N9005? I currently have T-mobile service but I'm not getting LTE speed and Wifi calling is not there.
Hello I have this note 2 N7100 international model. Is it possible can i put Note 2 stock rom for any Canadian network like rogers, bell or telus canada ? i could be some asian network but i am not sure about the network .
Hello!!!
This is my first post to the forum and I hope someone can help me.
I currently have a Samsung S3 i747 on Rogers (Canada) which uses the same frequency as AT&T in the states. I want to switch over to Wind which is the equivalent to T-Mobile.
The hardware itself is compatible however I am having trouble enabling the band. I followed the following post http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2344627 thoroughly but I am having trouble getting QPST to locate my phone.
The QPST version I have is 2.7 Build 378 and I have tried the newer version but same result.
Through device manager, I can see my phone
Within QPST, I add the new port:
I then get the following message of NO PHONE:
I am at a loss as I do not know what else to do. I can't afford a new phone right now and I do not mind the S3 for all of its problems.
My drivers are up to date. I am on Windows 8.1 as I heard the OS could be the problem but I could be wrong.
Has any one ever been able to enable this band on the S3?
Please help
can i load stock bell firmware from sammobile to rogers note 2?
its seams to be same model phone
alright, so today i restored my tmobile galaxy s4 to 4.4.2 stock, I did that AWS stuff... and when i inserted my WIND sim card, it puts me into the "AWAY" network.. Now if i want to select another network I get Telus, Rogers, Bell.. NO WIND!
Before I did the AWS thing, I only had AWAY, AWAY, AWAY
(I restored the s4 to 4.4.2 because the wizcyan rom didint make my pc detect the com ports)
please help with me, im not the best with android but i know my way around things usally
this phone worked with other networks like Chatr, T-Mobile (obviously) Rogers, and fido
also its rooted
Which aws thing did you do? I believe the wind and T-Mobile s4 is the m919. It's possible that the phone cannnot connect to the wind towers in your area.
I'm not sure where you are located but many people on different forums complain about wind's poor signal and coverage.
the one where you flash the qcn file
also, wind updated to Freedom Mobile, and they have LTE rolling out, does that make a change, so then I can use wind without flashing the qcn, or do they still use those different frequiencies?
sorry i'm kinda a noob.
What is the phone's model # in download mode? If it is sgh-i337m, the s4 is not from T-Mobile. The T-Mobile s4 (sgh-m919) supports all of Wind/Freedom's frequencies @ 3g and would not need any patch to work.
Oh yea, forgot to say, I flashed T-Mobile firmware on it cause i thought it would make a difference.
but on any rom, I get ROGERS, TELUS, BELL.
before the qcn flash, I got AWAY, AWAY, AWAY
Away is winds roaming network.
Also they upgraded to LTE in some areas
What is the model # in download mode?
You flashed stock T-Mobile firmware with Odin?
No, its a dedoxed ROM, also here:
This is what it says
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SGH-I337M
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: CUSTOM
KNOX KERNEL LOCK: 0X0
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0X1
CSB-CONFIG-LSG: 0X30
WRITE PROTECTION: ENABLE
eMMC BURST MODE: enabled
The s4 is not a T-Mobile s4, it's a Canadian s4 (i337m) issued by rogers, bell, Telus and has no native aws support with the stock rom.
T-Mobile and wind/freedom use the m919.

Does it make a difference if wind switches to LTE networks?
The Canadian s4 does not support Freedom's LTE frequency band.
