Are there any cabs with working clocks (transparent,analog etc)for the new manila interface..???(v3xx)
I mean working!!! Because some made by max are only for duttys roms.. The one from metal v2 theme (see thread) works ok.. but then you have a backround that is simple grey and you can change it!! (so only clock shows up)
I tried almost everything that i could find..
So any help?? (because no one is asking for clocks etc should i suppose that is easy or something??)
I use daviedeuck's v5hp.. Thanks! But being able to change backround is also important to me!
EDIT: Backround for all tabs..cab?? cause i've seen a guide here so there must be a way!

I was looking at this this morning, takes the carrier away on on mine has a semi transperant grey top curtain that I can't see how to remove. The clock itself is fine except for these two things. Maby the Developer could look into that. Yes on Manila 3

I wonder if you're getting the grey top curtain on yours George because you have the old manila as I do. From what I've been reading, not all manila 3 themes will work with the old manila.
Maybe you could implement this clock into one of your themes George!

Ya that's what I have as well. I guess the manila that can go into landscape and has the new calendar tab is newer than the build we have.
I guess the real question is to 2token2. What manila are you running on your HD?

stay tuned made a break trough, can't get yhe carrier ( not that that really worries me) but now have a working single clock on it's own with date, boy was that a fiddle.

For Dutty's V3.X Turbo use this version
For Dutty's WM6.5 RX Turbo use this version
For Dutty's WM6.1 V4 Turbo use this version which is the same as WM6.5 (same manila)

The top curtain is the top bar in the today plugin TouchFlo3D.

I meant 3.6, seems to work fine both on manila 2.0 and 2.1 versions. And I use Lucarp78 Transparent Slider too which is also working. Now all I need is to get rid of the bottom curtain like I said...

For the bottom curtain to be removed overwrite three manila files in the Windows directory with these ones courtesy of BadCluster..

The filename is Slider because it also makes that transparent, if you've installed another one don't worry it won't conflict.

it is for Dutty and Rhodium Basted ROMs
I think it would work on any latest Manila V2 or V2.1
I have Miri's WM 6.5 v 23 with manila 2.1 and Dutty's .cab makes my top curtain become all white, luckily it can be uninstalled and manila reverts back to original.
Now I've got to find some other solution for that ugly top curtain

they are different,that one is Titanium_320x240.cpr from PPC
this + slim chome + 96dpi makes the panel reallllly slim..I like it! anyway I can get it my panels to be black like yours?

no, the panel itself. I also noticed that this cab only makes the panel smaller and not the icon with it, cause it to 'stick out'.

I think what you guys need is this editor. It's simple to use. Just install in storage card and use it to make your top, bottom or curtain fully transparent.
P/S: I install to Device because I have to re-install it whenever I upgrade or Hard reset. Dont know why.

I'm sure there was a plugin that came with the LG Today Plugin that removed the bottom most bars...... NOT SURE if this works on the HD.
There just downloaded.. in the zip is dciNoBar.exe again NOT sure if this works on the HD.

Those Black bars (glossy button effect) is part of the Dusk WM6.5 theme. You will not be able to install this on your stock HTC ROM (AFAIK)

Anyway back on track CLYDEB1 you seem to know your stuff, I have the dusk theme installed I have the 2.1 version with no problems although I do not have the same bottom bars as in the above pic (soft keys) is this because of 2.1 ?
Not a real concern...just a more of a complete look for Dusk with those

You need to install Dusk 6.5 Theme.zip as well.
Unzip the file and add the contents to \My Documents\Themes\Dusk (make sure it reads this way only - no lower level or will not work) and then go to Today settings and select one of the themes. It works well on R9 (no issues with Manila 2.1). Do not change the background picture however to those included in the theme as this causes these black bars to be duplicated.
There are some added benefits of this theme, it changes the scroll bars to a nice glossy black and changes the highlights in most screens from that terrible green which makes it impossible to read the contents to a nice deep black.

True, but I knew that the poster is also on Dutty 6.5 R9, but yes for others it does only work on 6.5

You can try with nuenobar1.3 or 2.0, it depends on your ROM I think. For me (TouchHD and WM6.5 ROM) it doesn't work... Maybe you can have more chance.

If you are on WM6.5 try the Dusk theme from my link posted above. It works.
I already have Dusk Theme and it's ok.
I'm sorry I thought that the topic of this thread was the cancelation of the Black Bottom Bar... And I suggested NueNoBar 1.3 or 2.0. It's a mistake, sorry.

No problem. It is not that clear I guess as to whether the OP wants to add or remove the bars. I assumed as they are running on the standard ROM that is was to add rather than remove the bars???
Hi, guys.
This is a WM 6.5 lockscreen tweaked to resemble the Manila home tab (to the extent that this is possible). Almost all the hard stuff (the clock font, the clock background, etc) were taken from torsergey's excellent mod, made for Leo (HD2) - available here. Thanks, torsergey.
What I did was the slider, the green bullets on the sliiders, some small alignment stuff, etc..
Warning:
When uninstalling you might loose the default WM 6.5 lockscreen. To avoid that, please make sure that you backup your original /Windows/LockScreen directory and restore it after you uninstall this mod.
Notes:
This was tested with Miri's latest ROMs - it should work with any ROM that contains the HTC modifications to the lockscreen.

Well, yes and no. The clock is displayed using a combination of 3 layers:
Background image
Time text rendered with a special font (thanks again, torsergey)
Overlay thst adds the 'shading' to the clock
As long as you can provide these 3 elements (background, clock font, shading) it's doable - probably the clock font is the hardest part.

I have found one small bug ....
It is with appointments.
The problem is that the Lockscreen is showing appointment even if I don't have one that day ... instead it is showing my yesterdays appointment from standard calendar. It is showing it even when I delete the appointment!
Hmmm... that's interesting, as this is only a skin, it should display exactly the same information as the standard lockscreen displays - I don't have a clue why is this happening ...

Probably there's something different in the original (HTC) lock screen customization in your ROM - if I'll find time I'll compile a standalone lockscreen - that doesn't depend on stuff already on the device.
It doesn't work for me.It shows something like the old windows6 lockscreen.I'm running xannytech grid evo 2.2b.

Also for me when I install the cab I get only the old WM 6.1 "lock screen".
I am on WM 6.5.5 with sense 2.1.
Hope you can bring us a fix soon. Really nice skin for the lockscreen.

Check the lock settings if it is set to "Windows Default" or "Windows Classic". That might work.
