Hi all.
I have a question. I have many Appointments in my Touch HD without Reminder. When i now flash a new Rom and then update my Appointments with Microsoft My Phone every Appointment have a Reminder from 15 Min before Appointment. Can somebody explainme why this is so or is there the possibility to change it ?

I know this problem and I solved it like this way.
Start the WinMo Calender (not the HTC). Menu/Tools/Options
Disable the checkbox for "Set reminders for new items"
Then you can sync with MyPhone and all is ok. But it only works for me after a Hardreset.

Hello,
I have used almost all the ROMs WM6 posted on this site. Since the first one, the calendar is bugy. I hoped the next ROM would solve the problem but it seems not.
Here is what happens. Sync with Active Sync 4.5, I create a new appointment and click OK. The calendar hangs. If I kill the process (End task) the appointment just created will display correctly.
Maybe it is an issue with Active Sync 4.5, I just went back to the original ROM and the same issue happens.
I used Pocket Mechanic to look through the queues, but nothing duplicated.
Anybody has a solution? The first tyme I sync, I have aroun 70 appointments, mostly the last two weeks and repetitive ones.
Regards,
Bogdan
Ok I know this question was posted a long a time ago but when I searched for an answer to the same problem the only user reporting exactly the same issue is this one so I think the better place to put the solution is right here.
This thing happened to me with three different ROMs, so is not a ROM issue I guess. One of the "tests" I did consist in erase all the records in both, the outlook calendar and the device calendar, before that I made a backup of the outlook calendar in my desktop and then open it with another name, so I had 2 calendars. One by one I moved the appointments (don't have so much so I took my time) and after moved 1 appointment I made a sync with the device. Finally I created a new appointment in the device to check if this issue in particular appears, I repeated this process for every record in my calendar and nothing happens until I copied the recursive ones, so the problem is in this kind of records that occurs more than once in a period of time.
The solution, I think, is to recreate this recursive appointments, this way it didn't hangs the calendar again and I was able to sync this records with the desktop without problem.
Hope it helps (and I hope I'm not reposting some "old news")
and sorry for my english btw

Click to collapse
It will probably be easier to do this in outlook from your pc and then sync then to do it from the device itself depending on the number of entries.
From the device
you would edit each entry
and chance the "Occurs" line
from "Once" to " every September 2" using today as the example.
that way it does the reminder every year on that date and time that you've set
then set the time to remind maybe a few days to a week ahead to give you time to get them a present hehehe
It again maybe easier to do this from outlook on the pc and then,
re-sync the phone to update the changes to it.
Hi. I have problems with my synchronization. Only with my appointments.
I have 3.000 appointments (birthdays, doctor, lunch, etc.); but
when I try to synchronize with activesync, any mistake appear
and suddenly I have 38.000 appointments and I can't synchronize.
My problem is big because I can't change the rom for another.
I use pimbackup 2.8 but anything not work correctly and I can't
restore over a new rom.
How can I recover my appointments (goods)?.
The file .vol...is the important?.
If so, can I import with any program?.
I'm losed; please help me.
Thanks and regards.
Hi,do you use Outlook office ? Look in your contacts folder on your computer if they are not in double or triple .
No.
Hi.
The contacts aren't a problem.
It isn't duplicated.
But activesync says 0/38000 (in appointments);
and not avance in 6 hours.
Outlook office haven't appointment but yes all the contacts.
I need the appointment and I don't know what to do.
Sorry for my english.
Regards.
Delete your device from activesync an do another synchronization .
It isn't
Hi.
Always succed the same.
At the end;I've used a spb backup and it has do it.
Thanks for all.
When I receive a meeting request through my HTC mail exchange sync account I can't see the date and time of the appointment. The phone gives me the ability to accept/deny or to reschedule (propose new time).
the time of the appointment can only be seen in the "propose new time" which is, basically, not user friendly.
Anyone else having this issue?
Just got my Desire. Been using WinMo for the last 3 years so I might be missing a obvious solution...
Hi
I have seven calendars being synced and displayed together on my phone calendar application (HTC Desire Android 2.2 stock). One calendar containing my University schedules is suddenly toast, meaning that all regularly occuring events won't be visible anymore on my phone.
On calendar.google.com, as well as on my other calendar clients Windows Live Mail and Outlook 2010, my calendar seems perfectly fine. The calendar I'm talking about is linked to my primary Gmail Account, as are three other calendars. What did I do, and what can I do to fix this?
Single events are still visible...
Thank you in advance.
It just happened again! I lost all my recurring events on one of my calendars; my phone won't display them anymore. On calendar.google.com everything is still visible. Just like in my mail client.
Why does this keep happening to me?
Solution: I just found a quick workaround. In the HTC calendar app, just remove the calendar, then wait for synchronization. After that, add it again and synchronize again. Everything's displayed. I guess it might be a software bug.
