I have set the photo album as a widget on 1 of my homepages, and whilst it shows any pictures ive taken, it doesnt show any videos. To view the videos you have to actually go into the app, change folder and locate the videos manually.
Is there any way to get the videos to appear in the widget? or does anyone know of a better 'media' widget similar to the photo album
thanks
hi there
i have a lot of small media clips and most of them start with black screen so when i open gallery I see all the clips as black thumbs so i dont know which one to choose !!
is there a way to solve that or i'll have to live with this stupid gallery !!!???
You say small media clips that start with a blank screen, as in a video? If so, why not just open the video player app? It shows the name of each file and a thumbnail (though that will still be black)
I cant view videos transferred from PC in Mobo Player. There is videos folder in Mobo but cant see video in it. It shows in stock gallery and from there can b played with moboplayer. But how to view and play from moboplayer.
Hi techpal
In moboplayer, you have to first go into settings and add which folders you want to add. Its the folder looking icon on the left bottom once you hit the settings key. Everytime you add videos later on you will need to refresh it by clicking settings button and then the round arrow key (refresh) to refresh it to see all the new videos you have added
I posted a screen shot.
1. Points to where you click to add the folders of where you have videos located
2. Click this refresh button when you add new videos and want Mobo to see those videos (just like how your phone does a media scan for Gallery)
While I do like to stare at album art while my music is playing, it bothers me how it shows up in the Gallery, not to mention it increases the load time.
I have attempted already to give the folders a .originalthefolder name as well as the files .originalthefilename prefix, but while this works, it makes the album art dissapear in Poweramp and every other music application as well.
Is there a workaround for this without me having to prefix them with a . I have alot of music so embedding it is an option, but would take me a very long time, and some of my albums have two album arts for different disks.
Here is the problem:
I took some pictures on the HTC One and it created two events on the same day so I merged them in the "Events" view in the gallery. I noticed that some pictures were not included in there but I found it some shots in my "Camera Shots" album and created an album to hold all pictures I want for that day. After putting all the day pictures in one album and click on Events, when I scroll through that album picture by picture it will stop after a bit but it does not go through every picture if that makes sense (I can scroll through pictures through the original event, lets say 20 pictures when there are actually 50). If you exit the picture by picture view and scroll through the Events Album you will see ALL pictures. If I pick a picture from the merged album, I can scroll through those pictures, picture by picture but NOT the original album. Not sure what is going on...
