does some one have shut down/restart software for HD?
They're all over the internet. Look for XDA Shutdown or psxshut; two of many.
xda shutdwown is really fast and is fully skinnable...

seen also but quiet heavy to install the Wisbar, makes device quiet slow...
First of all you need to dl and install Wisbar Advance and Wisbar Advance Desktop, then, use the main package and the 1.1 patch
Use the wallpaper & icon packs only if you need it, you can copy them into the memory card.
If you are new to Wisbar Advance, read the doc available on the official site or check out for tutorials other the web, else it will take you sometime to get use to it
Hi there.
I was wondering if the icon for the XDA Dev site was a stock one? If so, maybe someone could get PixelToolbox and design a better icon. Perhaps one that included a phone, lol...
Just a thought.
PS It would make your icon on my phone look better too! (Note: Yes I am too lazy to do it by hand.)
Jadel.
Here is one I prepared earlier!

Good Idea, maybe this could be included as part of the xda-logo (if one is ever selected) discussion: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=395891
Thanks
Dave
well the logo will certainly be used as the icon....so get it in a bit higher resolution so that it can be a logo....(it's always easy to scale down the image,so it can be the icon too)
(if one is ever selected)
Just email me a clean file of the XDA Logo in jpg or png format and I will most likely be able to create an icon in seconds.
i think he/she is talking about the logo which will be in the browser tab by the name of the site...not the .ico file

Super nice. Thanks.
just a quick question: do i just have to flash it with amon Ra?
Hello, I had this bootanimation installed on a version of VillainROM.
Yesterday I updated my Hero to v3.4. Now flashing the animation does not change anything.
Any advice to make this work?
Why does my battery suck so much! I am running fresh 3.3.0.1, no custom kernels. I thought my battery should be better? Here is a screen shot of my battery info.

It looks like Android system ate up your battery? Use spare parts and see if that can give you more detailed infomation about what is using your battery. You can also try OS Monitor and see if there is anything that is hogging your processor
