Unlock code reader for HTC Touch Pro2 /Rhodium - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Windows Mobile General

---
Noctua Tech team presents software unlock code reader which allows you to easily SIM unlock HTC Rhodium (T-Mobile Wing II / HTC T7373 / HTC Rhodium / AT&T HTC Fortress / HTC T7377 / HTC T7378):

Get the phone unlock code in just 3 simple steps:
Connect the phone to your computer using the USB sync cable
Launch HTC Multi Unlocker
See the unlock code for your HTC phone appear on the screen!
All codes are 100% correct for all networks and countries, code is read from the phone itself, no wrong codes are generated.
HTC Multi Unlocker will only display the phone's SIM unlock code, allowing you to use the phone with any GSM operator's SIM card.
This software does not perform CID-unlock or Security-unlock, this is done on purpose for those who want to remove the simlock, netlock and service provider lock restrictions and still keep the phone's warranty intact (it doesn't flash a radio, or SPL... nothing is modified on the phone).
How to get the unlock software?
* People who has donated 30 EUR to XDA-Developers can request a FREE unlock by sending your phone's IMEI via PM. (You must have at least 3

OliPro has already released a sim unlocker for the Rhodium here
"The base price is £10 or €14 (about $18) and any donation under 15 quid or 20 euros gets £0.50/€0.65 added, to cover fees. However, we consider this "donationware" to a certain extent and for that reason, you can of course opt to pay more than £10/€14. Please do note that donations in multiples of £10/€14 do of course convey the right to multiple device unlocks... so hold on to that confirmation code."
Whats more Olipro says in his thread "contributing forum members & Elite Team donators... PM me for a free unlock with your IMEI & email. - if you have an account that has a) existed for a good few months and b) you actually contribute to the site (technical wizardy, or general helpfulness - CONSISTENT AND REGULAR POSTING), then just drop me a message and it's yours, if you don't meet both a) and b) then don't bother - having an account that you rarely posted from is NOT in the least bit interesting."
So technicaly it is free...that is, of course, if you are not just a leecher and have proven you have something to offer the community, be it donations to the Elite project or general helpfulness and technical wizardry

Does this software only work once? Why do they need your IMEI if it can read it the code off the phone? Not too bad though, makes you wonder if HTC purposely leaves holes to allow you to read the unlock code...

Ask OliPro
He has a lot of experience as he has been doing it since long time and it works just great.

Yes, it is limited only to work only on the device which has the IMEI number you've purchased, if you want to unlock 2 devices you have to purchase twice. We have better pricing if you need to unlock in bulk, you can contact us.

Guys remember Vodafone TP2 seem to come unlocked as standard...

Only way you can unlock is is paying and going to this thread. There are no programs that you can find or use to unlock your phone unless you call T-Mobile and ask them to unlock it for you for free, then you will have to pay. Its a small amount anyways but go here for more information.

Possible Unlock For SGH-T999L?

After scouring the net for the last week or so to find a method of unlocking the SGH-T999L without either purchasing a box or an unlock code from a shady eBay dealer, I stumbled across an app that seems like I might do the job.
RegionLockAway by Chainfire seems to remove the network lock on this specific model, despite being designed for the Galaxy Note 3.
(original thread) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2470551
Now, I've tried this on my phone, and as I said before, it seems to have removed the network lock on my SGH-T999L, but only partially. I am no longer bothered for an unlock code when booting the phone with an AT&T or MetroPCS SIM card inserted, and my account details assigned to the SIM cards are displayed under my phone's settings. The issue is that I cannot seem to connect to any networks.
I don't know if this will lead to anything, but I just felt like sharing this little tidbit of information with you guys. If anyone else would like to try this out and post results, I'm sure it would be greatly appreciated by the community. Hopefully this gets us one step closer to unlocking this bastard of a phone with minimal effort.
P.S. If this is in the wrong section, feel free to move it, and I apologize.

All the stuff you mention sounds really shady, as all demo units are not to be used as regular ones, in other words, the demo units are issued to carriers and official distributors, and never intended to be sold to public, thence, having one is not normal, no help will be offered here, as it is illegal in most countries to tamper IMEI numbers, which is a common practice with stolen and red flagged devices, next time gather enough money to buy a legal device
@ farhan_ali790 - Some things you have been saying within regards to this phone are quite unsettling. Either your mistaking what phone you really have, a communication/detail issue, or you got the phone second hand and this is the way it was when you got it.
Either way the following will be of interest:
If you have a demo phone then it should not work on the cellular network. Those are for demonstration purposes so people can see what the phone looks like, see how the screen looks and get a chance to use the apps on it. For this reason the phone was made in such a way that the ability to connect to the cellular network will not work. If you truly and really do have a demo phone then it will not be able to access the cell network.
If your claim is you have a demo phone and that it is showing (or had the IMEI number changed/patched to show) as a N975F and your talking about a patched IMEI number then sorry, but your most likely out of luck here. The discussions of tampering or altering an IMEI number are not allowed due to such actions being illegal in a lot of places. Contact the person whom patched the IMEI for you for help on this one.
It has been mentioned numerous times that flashing a bootloader higher then what is currently on the phone is a one way street. You can not downgrade the bootloader. Please take the time to do some research on the subject if you have further questions on it.

Question [CLOSED] IMEI changing

My phone's IMEI is changed without root and I'm on Android 11 rn. In my country you have to pay a heavy tax to use imported phones so I replaced my phone's IMEI with another phone IMEI which is already registered with government. Now I can use phone with sim normally. But what if I update to android 12 then will my IMEI be reset to original IMEI of my phone because if that happens I won't be able to use sim without paying tax that's actually more then the price of phone.
I got OnePlus 9 pro and I'm in Pakistan and IMEI is changed with a s7 edge whose tax was already paid.

@Sarmad00 Thread closed!
Edit or change of IMEI is illegal in quite a few of countries. For this reason, I've closed and edited your thread! XDA doesn't allow and doesn't accept discussions about or support for such an edit or change.

If the phone is showing that message and was purchased off of eBay, then the phone was stolen from a business. The phone cannot be utilized as it will be flagged and will have its IMEI blacklisted after some time. That message you are seeing confirms that.
Unfortunately for you, there is no work around to resolve this - as theft isn't a 'real' phone problem. The protection with phone management is just a corporate move to give companies more control over the devices that they purchase. So essentially, there is a much lower chance of them being stolen. Because once they are stolen, they're basically just local music players that cannot be utilized as a cellphone and will automatically wipe themselves clean on a timely basis (once they are reported as being stolen).

Thanks vor your reply,
i don´t think the phones was stolen because the selers of this phones is a company in Germany and they have more than 50 pieces of this phones, They wrote on the listing that the phones was used only for demostration purposes , so google will not remove the mdm lock if i contact them on the geving email adress?
If the device is truly legally sold, you need to get into contact with the seller to see if they can release it from their MDM server. If they cannot, only they can be the ones to contact Google. Google will NOT help you if you do not have the original purchase order from when it was MDM enrolled. Even if the user has a ton of devices for sale, that doesn't mean they were acquired legitimately. It's possible they were supposed to be destroyed and kept enrolled to prevent them from being resold, which is what sounds most likely to me. As someone who works in IT asset management, the ONLY reason we leave our devices DEP or MDM enrolled is to prevent someone from snagging it before we dispose of it.
