Hi All
I have followed all guides on unlocking sim on my m3100 and completed all the way through. Unfortunately my phone is asking for a sim unlock code even tho I thought that non are needed.
Anyway, my m3100 is orange and I want to put a vodafone sim in.
Can anyone put me in the right direction for code or tel me what i have done wrong ??
Thanks in advance for your help

I have used the unlocking program available here to unlock my Spv M2000 on Orange. It said it was successful then asked for unlock code which i entered as 00000000. It then asks for the service provider unlock code, i have tried the following to no avail: "00000000" "0000" "1111" and leaving the space blank. Can any one help?
I have the exact same problem.
Please help
Exactly same problem here on M2000 on Orange UK.
They've sent it to technical who are no help, am I best to just upload the ROM files to one of these services and just pay for it to be unlocked?????/
Please advise ASAP as I urgently need the PDA!
I don't think a rom update will reset the lock code
Sorted it .... v1.6 of the xda unlock software solves this problem.
I got the same problem on orange m2000. I have tried v1.6 as well but it was still not working. any helps? Cheers!
I did run it three or four times and it said it had failed - but hadn't - when I put the SIM back in it was fine.
Did u mean u have done the unlock without put in a sim card?
Yes,
It had locked itself, so I took the SIM card out so I could get into the file manager and use it just as a pda....
loaded v1.6 across using ActiveSync and ran it 3 times.
Job done!
Thanks mavk,
That way works great. Just got my job done a few minutes ago. Cheers man!
No worries
Hello there ,
i have a question and if somebody can help me i would really be thankfull.
I want to buy tytn or any version of it on ebay and most of them are locked without a sim card.
My question is can i unlock this phone without the orange or o2 simcard if it locked to that provider.
Thank you
*omg* nobody answered well i guess i will find one unlocked then
I have been searching the net and the forums on help how to do this. Most of what I have found is specific for the HTC and T-mobile dash models, but not seen anything for the orange SPV E600.
I have unlocked the phone with Dashv2unlock program I bought, and tried "RUU_Excalibur_SPL-1.11_UpgradeOnly" and then tried "RUU_Excalibur_TMO_US_1.22.531.4_4.1.13.34_02.79.90_Ship"
Both of these give me a INVALID ID error.
I am suspecting my phone has only been SIM-unlocked (I can use my O2 sim card), but not CID-unlocked? I thought these programs do both?? Do I need a separate program to CID unlock?
Is this a problem specific to the orange SPV E600?
What am I doing wrong????
You phone is CID Locked,
Unfortunately, there's still no free way to CID Unlock an Excalibur, CID Unlock your phone here (USD 38.00):

original poster said he/she bought the Dashv2unlock program !!! ... which is a free program that works on the "PAID" UNL file for the specific IMEI ...
http://www.imei-check.co.uk/dashunlock.php
therefore ... I think that the unlocking procedure wasn't done correctly ...
just my $0.02

LOL, that's what i get when i don't get to read and understand the query.
I agree, unlocking procedure wasn't done correctly.
Thanks guys. I actually went through www.imei-check.co.uk before, and as you correctly pointed out I bought a .unl file specific to my IMEI code, went through the screens just like shown on the website but although my phone will now take my O2 sim, it is still giving me an INVALID ID.
Has anyone succesfully done this with an SPV E600??
Is there a step missing somewhere? I read somewhere about having to run the unlocker program twice, which I have tried with no luck still.
Yay it works!
Ok, just to update.
I managed to update my rom to with the "RUU_Excalibur_HTC_RUS_1.24.411.1_4.1.13." rom instead and this was without having to flash a bootloader to begin with.
So if there are any SPV E600 users out there, the above rom works VERY VERY WELL.
i bought this phone and i tryed to unlock it as it is locked to orange with the progrram i found on this site http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=793893 that can unlock many ppcs.but while this prog seemed to work on my previous BA now on this one DOESNTit says the phone is unlocked but when i put the sim card it asks for a sim code to unlock it and when i put the 000000 as it was mentioned here again ,it still doesnt work.so is there any other way to unlock the spv.
Please help me my BA friends
