Hi Guys,
I've just been checking out the Xperia section of the forum - i'm tempted to grab one of these and i'm interested to see how the Panels interface works. Looks pretty sleek on the youtube vids ive just been looking at.
I've noticed that TF3D has been ported to the Xperia, i was just wondering if anyone has tried the other way round - porting the Xperia Panels to the diamond? I'm guessing the screen resolution is a barrier for this?
Cheers
Paul

Are there any screen rotation utility with animation effect like SS Omnia's?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uk1ZF3bcPMo
Cool !!!!!! hope someone could do this app for HD´n ?
Yeah, saw this on my brother's Omnia last weekend, and wondered if it was do-able on the HD. Does look pretty cool!!
i want it too!
That looks really great, I'll be very happy, if anyone can port this to the Blackstone.
Yeah this would be excellent!!

i don0t think so..
is there anyone who's porting this app^?
It gives me a headache.
That is pretty damned cool. Similar hardware on the Omnia? Would this app be directly portable?

It could be, if someone could send me the Samsung Omnia's whole windows folder I could try and find this app or you can try it yourself!!!
just search in windows folder for the app name and extract all files from the Omnia's folders to HD folders and run the app!!!!
BUT I DONT KNOW IF THAT WILL WORK!!!!
We need someone who understands more!!!! Not Me!!!!
Wow we must have it for ou blackstones. Senseless but awesome
very very cool!!
that is excellent, exactly what i need cos i get annoyed with the slight delay and this program seems to solve this by doing something in the meantime (if you get what I mean?)
The slight delay is related to sensitivity. In this case there would be a slight delay before the animation would start.
I use Flip It which I find has almost no delay coupled with increasing the sensitivity on HDTweak.
I wish I had dev skills
These little apps are what make a difference - they add polish! Very cool if someone would port this!
Prob needs to be tied in the sensor app for touch hd an maybe some driver dependency tweaks - seems logical and not the biggest feat. But then I am no DEV.
Anyone care to answer?
Cheers
I love any eye candy software.. Bring it on.
looking good! please develop, I might donate for this!
looks great butt still noone who sead to make it for our beloved blackstone's
Hi Gents
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good dialer for the x1, i currently use the Touch IT dialer but as it doesnt have landscape and is quite a bit slower than the standard dialer i was wondering if you guys would recommend one.

I love the original Sony Xperia one, and it is CABbed for easy install (search for the "add videocall to USA X1a" thread)
can you post a screen shot, i think i also had the original sony dialer but its hard to tell these days with the network doing soo many changes with ther fw.
also does this video call feature work on the UK stock network roms?

All ROMs for all Xperias around the world support video-call, except for the NorthAmerican (NAM) ROM...
Pics of the original Xperia dialer ??
I guess I have a couple around here... let me check
The Yota dialer, but its slower to launch by hardware key though
Found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=482251 and was wondering any anyone has tried it on Xperia yet, this could be a great way of getting android-like widgets on Xperia while M$ sorts our their widgets SDK for WM 6.5 . I'm thinking it could even be made a panel. Has anyone played with this latest release of FEWidgetsLite 0.3.1 yet?
Yea it does work.
I guess it would be possible to have that as a panel by just assigning it to secondtoday
anyone try on X1? Look awsome

Based on dr3minem's reply it does. I haven't had a chance to test it myself but I might try it this weekend. I've read that there are still bugs to sort out though.
I tried it out on my X1 now. Used it as a today plugin, and it works great! Lots of nice widgets, and everything runs smooth. No lagg or hangtime.
I tried it out for a little bit, but after testing out the Touch IT ROM, I haven't reinstalled it.
It did run fairly well. It's worth following and trying out as a today plugin. If you like the concept go with it. I'll probably be trying it again soon.

I guess once roms from EVO 3D leak
I saw it too and it looks super fast on the Evo 3D! does anyone know if this will come in the 2.3 update for the DHD i.e the new 2.3 Android and the new Sense UI?
seriously this rom is very dope !!!!
Be aware of that EVO has different resolution qHD 960×540... And it could not be easy to port this sense into ours DHD :/ I wish it couldn`t but ... :/ I hate those manufacturers ... Google said the resolution must be unified but they always change it in some way :/ However ... Google said about end of fragmentation of Android but there is still fragmentation :/
i won't mind a port of just that active lockscreen from there =D
i juts lookin' for the naviguation in 3d and the Bottom Bar ... it's simply amazing ... ..
You want a porting....
I want the phone!
and the original ui!

NOW!
I believe some 3d graphics will be possible, having looked at the cube effects in the latest MIUI rom when changing between desktops.
Time will tell, but I wouldn't be surprised to see at least some.
An Evo3D video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tTp-Azf60L8 as one wasn't posted in OP.
i love this home screen . he's simply amazing
hi guys,
i changed my dpi on the xperia play and its looking actually really good, well kind of..
some apps look really weird like the xperia home or the ported walkman.
and because of that im looking for a method, that allows you that some apps think that i have another dpi (like on paranoid android)
would be very happy if there were a solution
Thanks
IMO only PA has this feature.
Yeah i know, but it had not the performance i expected.
hey i found a interesting article of a paranoid android dev,
he explains how to make it work
he says we need a file called DisplayMetrics.java but i couldnt find it
here the link: rootzwiki.com/topic/23112-request-per-app-dpi-setting-to-once-and-for-all-solve-tablet-mode/
could someone help me plz? ??
