hi,
i´m looking for a app that allows you to set tags on picture you took with the htc build in cam?

Unfortunately the pictures viewed in the Gallery won't be loaded in a higher resolution when zooming in. Can anybody confirm this?
Confirmed, this application ideed doesn't refine when zoomed. Didn't do with Desire neather. I would like to have a HTC album application. That one does zoom and refine...
Search image viewer on market,it should work properly
indeed - but this gallery is a great looking app... don't want to give it away ;-)
The problem is that there's nothing to refine. What I've read in the reviews that the image app makes a smaller version of the original image. So you are looking at less the pixels than the original image. Stupid but hey, It's not a camera.

Thanks for that - can now see pics in much higher res, but the app lacks a few basic gallery features, such as rotate, swipe/move to next pic, etc. Any alternatives?
What about installing the nexus one gallery app like what we did with the milestone?

Pretty stupid indeed, with a gallery you want to watch the original images... Not some thumbnail. Hope this will be fixed in the future...
Hello, somebody know a nice app to take photos that have functions like improve pictures and a better video record for WM?
coolcamera.
Hi all developers,
I just have an idea of an application for the HTC One. How about if there is an application to turn the HTC Zoe moving picture into gif file and share it to facebook and twitter etc? Or even more, the picture collage from HTC share should be able to be made into a GIF and shared into social media!
I think this is a good thing to do. If this is done, everyone can enjoy seeing our moving pictures easily
after shooting a zoe it will automatically create a mp4 file. with some apps you can convert them to gif.
e.g. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.atredroid.videotogif&hl=en

Where can I find this mp4 file? After a shout one zoe I find few frame pictures, but nowhere the mp4 files.
i just opened a fileExplorer like "Solid" und switched to sdcard/dcim/100media/...
there i find some single-images from zoe (imag_0089_ZOE01, imag_0089_ZOE02, imag_0089_ZOE03...) and a mp4 (imag_0089_ZOEVideo.mp4)
would be cool if we could easily convert them in to live wallpapers
Doesn't the stock camera already have a gif feature? Not under zoe but under regular features I believe.

That's the Galaxy SIV
GDrive auto
i did not turn the automatic upload to google+ for every shot i took, it took me a while to delete about 1000 pics i didnt need. but when i was going though them i saw some doubles, in fact they were nopt doubles they were .gif's i dont know how they got there but i know it has to do with the Zoe or continuous shots features. it the gifs were only 5 or 6 shots put together, so it would be nice to see what made them, i cannot find the gifs on my HTC One but i did find them on GDrive.

Does anyone know what happened to the Zoe camera? looking for the functionality to take a "Zoe" and then choose the best faces or save a frame of the "video" as a picture... just like on the m7 and m8. Surely HTC did not remove it from the M9?

I thought that was only a feature with the UltraPixel Cameras, which as we know, the M9 only has on the front?
I did notice that you have to add Bokeh, Photo Booth and Split Capture modes on the camera screen, but no more Zoe.
BTW, you can take a burst (20 quick succession photos) and still choose best shot.
There is no independent "Zoe" camera (I don't even remember that being on my M8.
You compile Zoe's from the Zoe app from pictures in your gallery.

He's talking about the Zoe camera Capture, not the Zoe video creation app...
Go into your stock Camera, press the button that has 4 circles in the lower-left of the screen (as you hold it in portrait mode). Stock it comes with Camera, Selfie, and Panorama. You can add the three modes I mention above, but on the M7 and M8 there was an option for Zoe, which took about a 10 second video that you could do all sorts of effects with.
I'm hoping it wasn't a Ultrapixel only (hardware-based) feature and that someone can add it once we get S-Off and root. The Harmon Kardon was software-based, so one can hope!
It seems, that they either removed Zoe camera from M9 with some update, or there were no feature at all.
Does anyone have a recommendation on a Gallery app that actually knows what to do with portrait mode pictures? Seems like Google Photos is the only one that knows how to properly categorize/show portrait pictures. Every other gallery app I have used shows every portrait picture and the non portrait picture as it's own album. Clutters up a gallery really quick.
Any suggestions?

I hope this isn't too much off topic but felt like it was worth mentioning. My favorite all time gallery app if one hasn't tried it is Sony's Album app. To me it is hands down the best app when dealing with a lot of photos. There is a universal port here on XDA if anyone is interested, thank you.
just curious - if google photos works, why use anything else?
Sony Album app was always great and has been ported to work on pretty much any android phone

How does it handle pictures taken in portrait mode? Every other gallery app I've used creates a whole album for every portrait picture taken? So far I've only found Google Photos to handle portrait shots correctly.
