If you have "advanced configuration" on you device go to "today" in advanced configuration and change it from the clock being shown, to the battery being shown.
naww i dont want neither ... dont want no battery symbol NOR the clock...

Can I get rid of it by tweaking the registry?

Hello People
I hope nobody found this yet - don't want to fill the boards with sh*t.
Anyway, I came to this registry key.
If you use the clock to display in your status bar when you have opened some program or etc you can switch it to analog thanks to thi key.
It is:
\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SoftwareMicrosoft\Shell\Analog Clock
Just change the value to 1, reboot and there you go Analog clock in status bar...
Hope you like this.

I have now another problem...I installed pocket digital clock and have problems removing it...it still shows in the remove programs list but it is uninstalled...and when I click remove it just shows that spinning 4color wheel of death....sigh...
What should I doooo?
Ow and back to clock, try it, htere is no way you can harm your device...it is internal from microsoft...
try re-installing the soft and then uninstall again.
Otherwise hard reset.
I alreeady tried so many things...geeez...thanks for help tho..
No need for doing all that. Tap and hold on top bar clock and on the pop-up menu choose Digital or Analog!
Thanks dude..i didnt know that
analog clock
u yust in clock options switch to clock stay in all programs on top, and then keep stylus on digital clock, then menu will apear and ask to swich beetween analog or digital.
no need to go to registry
Hmm, I've one question (dying for this) which is somehow related....
How to get ANALOG clock instead of the original touchflo flip clock on the home tab??
p/s: I've background4all by mun_rus and I can't install any other analog cab that mess around with manila files as they've already been modified
I like android's style of placing an analog clock in the center of the phone.
Please help me.......................thanks!!!
How do you change them? I downloaded some excellent icons from bluemetalaxe;
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=533993
I then used hComber to change the icons in the start menu...which they have...but when i add a program to my programs tab in touchflo...they one icon is used.
anybody know what i mean and how to fix it?
anybody???????????
try searching the forum for cfc gui, its a nice little program which should do the task
If you're using manila 2.1, HDwalls will help you change slider icons.

Yes but fracmo2000 does not want to change the slider icons!
He had change the icons shown in the start menu with hcomber (I do the same with reStart) but now he wants to change the icons in the program tabs of manila
Here is an exemple:
I have change my start menu icons including youtube icon
But youtube still show the old icon in the program tab of manila (it is what he want to change: show the same icon in manila as in start menu)
Hi,
I tried several settings, notably Schapps advanced config, also registry editions (HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Shell/showTitleBarClock among others), I could change the battery icon to the analog clock icon but could not get rid of both. I do not need the battery because I use WkTask which shows the battery status on a thin line above the notification bar, and I'd like to save the space for running applications shown by WkTask. Any working solution on WM6.5 stock Rom ?
Thanks
Thierry
Don't forget bluetooth! I can't figure out how to get that stupid icon off of there. If the phone is visible, headset, whatever, but not just "on", that's annoying.
does anybody know how to disable the clock in the up curtain ?

use a tool like advanced config. look there at the topic "today". You can switch between clock and battery
.... but it can mess up the taskbar display.
thank you. I will try it.
