After flashing several roms I am always serching for a way to make Programs Tab showing when pressing the start menu.
Is there a way that this function can be activated on all roms releases (wm6.1&wm6.5)?
You are probably refering to the Enhanced Start Menu from the Topaz & Rhodium Manila. It's part of Touch Flo3D and can't be activated if you don't have it in TF3D.
If your signature is correct, you are using Miri's WM61 V2.0 which has Manila 2.5. This version of Manila comes without any programs tab and is designed to work with the WM6.5 Start Menu. So you can't activate it, unless Miri finds a way to include the Manila 2.1 StartMenu into Manila 2.5 (seems unlikely though).
In short: A ROM needs to have cooked in a certain package to make this work.

That was the idea, having the Program Tab in the Manila 2.5. I will post to Miri to see if he can add the program tab in the manila.

Very cool and working fine on tytn with Dvha79 v25 Basic lagoskon edition

Only the battery look need improvement . The cab replaces Dvha79 battery icon and GPRS icon (but Opal is nicer).

I love this dialer. I installed it on my ATT Tilt which is running PDACorner X2.V7, Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM. The text for the phone call history is white instead of black so I can't see it. Is there a way to change the text color or do you have another .cab for Windows Mobile 6.5?

Is the canvas actualy the dialer..?
I thought it was an addon to the dialer

Like I said, I have not tried those. they are just what I found searching after you guys asked.
I use phone canvas, but it is cooked into the rom I use. I think there were issues with phone canvas on 6.5, I'm still using 6.1.
Now i release my newest ROM 23004 core based.

You need to choose Start\Settings\Home Screen HTC Sliding panel or the HTC Sliding top bar
Or just run ChomeConfig (Settings panel last position) and enable HTC Weather for your homescreen .

If any of the Topix Rom's have the Leo weather manila the clock wont show up. I do have a solution for that on this thread that can be tried.

i have difficulty making registrys in cab. but here is a cab with just edited files, so if you have a working cht ezinput on you device you can install this to resize to vga. there are directions to get cht input working for some roms here:

i think most roms with western ezinput may have problem because of et9asdb and et9rudb files, in post above i attached original ones, if yours does not work i first suggest you overwrite those files.

right now the steps are different for different roms.
if your rom has no ezinput, you probably can install this cab from mobile01

that is just oem package in a cab. if that does not work your rom may need htcframework, sharedmodules or sharedresouce packages
if your rom has western ezinput it may be much more difficult, first try to install cab from mobile01, if the result is everything is displayed but can only type english, maybe the earlier et9asdb and et9rudb can fix it, if still not i suggest to edit registry:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{36BC8FF6-8241-4C36-ABDE-204885471FEE}\IsSIPInputMethod --> set to 0
there are specific directions for bsb and geny that work to. i only am sure how to get ext to work.

I've looked around but can't find answer to this. When I install any theme where someone shows a pretty pic with the start menu moved to the bottom-left of screen (instead of the default top-left position) - the colors/fonts change but start menu never moves. The theme appears to make a change to colors/fonts/etc, but never moves start-menu.
Notice in this example the start-menu is at the bottom-left (cool);

What the hell am I doing wrong - this happens for any theme which the author is showing the start menu is moved from top to bottom. Is there something else you must install for this? Where should I start reading to learn how to do this?? Many thanks for any help.
Ok so after reading a little it seems this is only achieved with the "new" Windows mobile 6.6 (everyone calls this 6.5.3) - which is also Microsoft build # 23518 and above.
But this fails to solve the mystery - because this build is only VERY new and only a few cooked roms are available with it - but I have been seeing screen shots of the start button in the bottom-left on many screen shots here for MANY months already...I am not convinced!

Mate, you're not doing anything wrong.
The problem is that you don't have a COM8 rom installed on your device.
The COM8 is ...let's say a different (and experimental) Windows Mobile 6.5 sys that has the start button in the bottom left.
There are plenty of these COM8 roms here at XDA to flash in your Blackstone, hust check this thread:

You can install the Xannytech's Grid Evolution 1.9, wich I like most of all firstly for its performances and speed, but this is a personal taste....:

Keep in mind that this rom is WWE (Standard English language) and not localized....but you can change the Manila language with the help of Manila Language Manager 0.6 that you can find in the Themes section of Blackstone.

It's a new branch, more stable than COM3 and COM4, but with the same look (buttons at the bottom).
