Applications - HTC Excalibur

I have the [ROM][EXCA][WWE][* 3VOLUTION SERIES *][WM6.5 STD 23017][Build 3VO.2.50.080809] Rom and there's a shortcut to applications thing.
I'm wondering where several .exe files are located at. I tried using the Resco file explorer and searching .exe files, but some files didn't show up such as:
Opera.exe
Alarm.exe [if there is one]
RescoFileExplorer.exe
i tried using the .lnk shortcuts but it didn't work =p
Help is appreciated, please and thank you :]

Show ROM files hidden files etc in Resco Explorer options............. & please respect the rules no double posting.

I still can't find Opera Mini

File Explorer

Looking for a cab to replace the original file explorer with the better one that JJ includes in his BLACK roms.
If anyone has or knows where to get please post.
Ive searched and cant find it...
THANK YOU!!!
search for GreenSoftware GSFinder+
sorry, i dont have the cab for it
GSFinder is what your looking for. If you want to replace the stock explorer you will have to rename the gsfinder.exe to fexplore.exe and replace the one in the windows directory.
venelar beat me to it.
Here you go .. extract and copy to your device
thanks Guys!
i prefer resco to any other file explorer...so i dont have 2 file explorer icons in programs, how would I go about this? make a shortcut in /windows for resco but rename it to fexplorer.exe ?
TIA

Help locating a few .exe files in Ricky's excellent 6.1 ROM

First of all, thank you VERY much to everyone who has contributed to the 6.1 ROM including Rickwyatt, Kavana, NRGZ28, etc. I cannot believe how much better my Dash is with this ROM! I am using v15 of the ROM.
I have been trying to find the .exe files for a few applications in the ROM so I can link to them using oldSAP favorites to my CApps carousel. I have set Resco Explorer to view all files, including those in ROM.
Voice Notes
Resco Registry Editor
ActiveSync
I searched all through the \Windows directory and couldn't find them. I also searched everywhere else on the device to see if I could find them. They appear in the Start Menu and they work fine, I just can't find the .exe files.
Also, is it possible to change the icon that displays on the home screen for the "My Programs" carousel? All the other icons are white outlines until selected, but on mine the icon is full color.
Any help would be appreciated! Again, thanks for all the hard work on this ROM!
..
Browse to the start menu folder with your computer, and open the shortcuts with notepad.
Thanks for the suggestion!
I did that and I see something like this:
10#:MSSYNCAPP?:syncapp
I'm assuming that if I type in :MSSYNCAPP that oldSAP Favorites will launch the app (in this case ActiveSync).
Some of the other ones were more complex such as:
1#\windows\sktstart.exe #AUTO#?\Storage Card\Program Files\SKKV Software\SKTools Standard\sktools.exe,-222
Again, I'm hoping that if I input everything starting with \windows that oldSAP will launch it.
Thanks for your help!

Default Opera Browser

Hi Guys,
the new opera beta browser damaged my default opera browser which i liked more than the beta version.
Can you help where to download a non-trial version of the default opera browser without installing a new rom on my x1?
thx
Uninstall Opera from "Settings->System->Remove Programs"
Delete all "Opera" folders from "Application Data" folder.
(Using File Explorer, or any other file manager of your preference. You may have more then one, including but not limited to "Opera", "Opera9", "Opera 9.5 Beta".)
Delete HKLM/Software/Opera from the registry.
(There are many many registry editors out there, take your pick)
click on WM6.1_PPC_dawn_Opera_2532_signed.cab from File Explorer in "Windows" folder.
(Or from any other file manager of your preference, or executing/running/installing it with any other method of your preference. e.g. cab installers etc etc.)
Now you will have the default Opera with its' default settings like the way it first came with your Xperia.

Hi, how to change TFLO 3D icons by myself?

Any software provide this function and it is able to create a CAB file to let me share with others?
thx =]
You should get the m9editor, find the manila files containing the icons you want to change, change them and if you want to make a cab, use some kind of cab manager or you could simply copy them in the windows folder (not with the standard file explorer - use total commander or something like that) and then restart TF3D. If you have done everything right, you should have the new icons displayed, if not - simply delete the manila files you have changed and softreset - this should restore them if you have not made backup of the original file.
oh, thx for your reply >3<
but m9 doesn't work on my pc T_T
i am using windows xp, china-hong kong version T_T
moreover, what software can create cab file?

Strange... I also use XP (not the china version) and it works for me... maybe you should ask for support the creator of the editor. As for the CAB files - I personally use 'WinCE CAB Manager' but I think there are a number of other managers, just google them and find out which is best suited for you.

Diamond Theme for Vogue wm6.1

I recently got a Verizon HTC xv6900(vogue), which the more I use is a great phone. I have been looking for a Diamond theme that works with wm6.1. Everytime I download the zip file into my phone, I go to file explorer, like I do with all downloads and when I pull it up, the file only includes pics. I do not know what I'm doing wrong. I download the file through WinRAR and extract. Can somebody please help and explain what I'm doing wrong.
Thank you in advance.
I have run into similar problems with themes for the Hermes. The files that you extract have to go somewhere in the widows directory but I am not sure. They could also be themes for SPB Pocket Plus.
