In the own thread of the ROM post #2 you can find solution:
My clock stopped working / changed to wrong timezone? How can i fix this?
Go to Settings > Personal > Phone
Then go to the Timezone tab and uncheck "automatic change timezone"

I tried that but it still didnt work.

Hi there,
i had the same problem here, the clock stopped to update in TF3D. (The clock itself works fine.. ) A softreset did not helped, but 2x runs of "cleanRAM" solved the problem so far.
Another problem i noticed is, after running Klaxxon sometimes the whole phone will loose 95% of its cpu-performance. Softreset will fix this.
Next problem belongs to the camera. Sometimes camera go into a "save-loop" when pictures got saved to internal flash (not 4GB device)
So long, Christian

Guys, Gen.Y D2 R2-Rev.Y has its own thread... there´s no reason creating something else just to solve your problems...
So, the clock problems have been reported there several times, and you may find that one of those is the issue:
- usage with some alarm utility (such as pocketalarm, klaxxon, etc)
- usage with S2u2: I don´t have this problem myself but it´s been reported, so, try to avoid it
- bad flash: read the MTTY thread and try to flash your device again, using that process.
If the problem persists... well, you´re free to get back to whichever ROM you find more suitable, since it´s been reported as well in the thread that some devices will keep - still - freezing the clock.
Good luck. And I guess, moderator, you can close this thread.

Wrong MSID
I have had the same problem, after I discovered that MSID for portuguese cities were wrong, afterwards no more Clock hangs, please see thread:

Hi,
You go in "Settings"==>"Today" disable TF3D click ok, and then RE-Enable TF3D...
This is a bug Manila 2.1

I had the same problem but now its solved.
Go to all settings -> system ->Clock and Alarms.
Change the timezone to any other time zone.
Then, go back to the home screen clock. click on it.
From World Clock remove the original clock.
Go back to clock and alarms-
Now put the your timezone.
I think for some users, it does work properly for city timezone'

i had the same problem, disabling and re-enabling TF3D2 is indeed a solution. The problem is caused by the service autotimeupdate.exe.
I removed the startup key in the registry, and now the clock works perfectly without disabling TF3D2 or other modifications!

SOLUTION
I had been petrified with the clock hanging issue for a long time, but these simple steps seemed to have solved my prob,
1. Diable TF3D from Today.
2. Restart would be preferable.
3. Diable automatic time zone change in settings>phone
4. Again a restart would be preferred.
5. Adjust time in settings>clock if required.
6. Start TF3D from today.
Try it out, works well for me

Doesn't work for me
Will try other options later (already disables automatic time zone adjustment, but not while disabling manilla first, although it is a long shot)

I used to have the same problem with pocketshield installed, it was because I have a pin set for my sim when the phone starts up, and if pocketshield started to load before touch flo it caused the clock locking up problems, so as soon as the pin screen comes up insert pin quick and press enter then all is fine, or remove the sim pin.

Windows Mobile 6.5 Lockscreen unlock problem

When using the WM6.5 lockscreen sometimes it will not unlock.
Has anyone else experienced this?
What could be causing it and how do you fix it?

Replace the Rom WM6.5
i thinks may yr Rom have some problem . My Rom Energy 6.5 doesn't lock when using spbshell
DjMary,
I have already done that. I have built my own WM6.5 ROM using different versions of WM6.5 using the original Microsoft DIO's. I have tried using the various WM6.5 ROMs posted here and they all have the same problem.
My question si primarily aimed at chefs. I suspect this is similar to the mencfilt.dll issue with WM6.5 distributions. It might be a compatibility problem with the Diamond in particular, as other devices do not have this issue.

It's not that I don't want my phone to lock. On the contrary I do want my phone and I manually lock it because I like WM6.5's lockscreen.
The problem is unlocking it, which sometimes takes multiple trials before it gets unlocked!
Is it the problem you have to tap the clock at the bottom first?

I think you are right - I tap on the time (at the bottom of the screen) first and the slider works almost every time.
did you give a password on your wm ?
this is a known problem on almost every wm6.5 rom for the diamond
you need to tap the clock before the slider responds
IIRC, setting a pin-password will also fix the problem
There is no other fix that i know of

Interesting. That seems to fix it. I will need to test this out more, though.
It's a very simple fix although it is still annoying to not have things work as it should!
here is my fix
put it to your ext and delete touch.dll from oemdrivers
it is 100% working
is there any way we can get this as a cab or something,
i'm using Atlas Rom right now and loving it..
And i bricked my diamond once before testing my own rom so im not going to again..
(for the next 2/3 weeks )
thanx in advance!
hey veisen, thanks for posting your fix.
i plan to rebuild touch.dll for my rom ... can you tell me what changes you made?
Thank you very very much for the fix Veisen!

automatic change time zone and clock?

I've seen this asked many times but never answered - but it seems that on the new nrg june 22 rom - 'automatic change time zone under settings / personal / phone is not available. I also tried changing the mylocation in regedit to 0 - but it's still there after reboot. Any ideas?

Have you tried going to a different timezone to see if your clock changes when it should?
It should be on by default on basically EVERY rom you use, whether its stock or custom

Under that place where you're looking, is there no sub-section called "GSM/UMTS Servcies", with Time Synchronization as a choice on that screen?
That's right. Turns out the nrg rom from the 22nd didn't have that tab, but the updated 26th rom does!
Cab
Sounds like you're good now but occasionally I'll hit a ROM that doesn't have the advanced tabs enabled. The attached cab usually does the trick. Couldn't find the original source/thread where it came from, came from XDA's pyrorob though.

[APP] SGS Screen Changer

I've created an app that does what "socket84" was talking here on the forum ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=734151 ), which basically is a way to change the default home screen when the user presses the Home button. This works with a hidden setting from TouchWiz. I posted it on Market with the name "SGS Screen Changer".
NOTE: You'll ROOT and BusyBox for the app to be able to do it's work.
http://www.cyrket.com/p/android/com.pedronveloso.samsunghsc/
I've only tested it with the European, Samsung Galaxy S so far.
I've tested with various different firmwares ( JM2, JG5, JM6, JM7 and JM8 ) and it's working ok. Also I've coded a backup mechanism in case things don't work as expected, and later you can restore the file to it's initial state, from the the restore button within the app, or manually by issuing the command "cp /system/default.propBackup /system/default.prop", but verify first that you have the backup file.
> Doesn't work on Froyo yet! The configuration files have changed in those releases, and I've not fixed it yet.
Also, it would be great if people could post the contents of their "/system/default.prop" file in here, along with their firmware number, so I can fix it for different non functioning firmwares. Thanks
Let me know if you've any questions, and all feedback it's appreciated. Also remember this is the first public version, so don't expect it to look pretty, I've focused on functionality and correctness first.
Change-log:
Beta 2 ( 20-08-2010) :
* Bugfixes
* Fixed screen numbering as reported by Limality ( thanks )
Beta 1 ( 18-8-2010 ) : First release
IMPORTANT NOTE: Everyone who had installed the first beta should update it from the Market and set the screen to whichever they want, even if the app did work to them before. People who said it wasn't working, and the ones who said it didn't leave the 4th screen should update and select the screen they want and reboot. All those problems should be fixed in this release. I'll be waiting for further feedback on those ones to confirm if this solved their problems

nice app!
might wanna just add 1 to all the screen numbers just so everyone gets it .
starting at 0 while the numbers shown in touchwiz are starting at 1, is kinda weird
\
so screen 0 = 1 and screen 1 = 2
edit: hmm not working here either on JM5 always gives the last screen as home screen, if i do it myself it works..
Not work with DXJG4
Maybe "One click lag fix 2.3" could be a cause ?

No, I've lagfix myself and I'm using MoDaCo ROM and it worked. Did you reboot after setting it? You must reboot for changes to take effect.

The backup it's stored in /system/default.propBackup , you just have to do "cp default.propBackup default.prop" in some terminal as root in case to restore it manually, if the restore button fail's to do it's job.
work's perfectly on my JG5, thank you Pedrodh!

Nice to know . By the way, you have BusyBox installed from the Market, or you had it bundled with your ROM ?
IIRC, some firmwares (i.e. DXJG4) have a different /system/default.prop and hence will not work.. Cant change manually either

Would be useful to have the data regarding which firmwares work, and which doesn't. If I did I could check it while executing the app and notify the user properly. Also, I'm in doubt if people who install busybox from the market have a different setup from the ones who doesn't. I'm issuing the linux commands like "echo" , but if the busybox from the market doesn't update the system Path I'll have to pass the entire path when issuing the command. I'll be waiting for more feedback from the users and begin sorting this out.
So far it seems that everyone who has MoDaCo and/or JG5 has been able to use this.
OK, updated the app. I found out what was wrong, should now be fixed.

Wish I could test it for you, but currently my phone is bricked.
Default screen is maybe the only option I am missing in TW.
However when I tried this hack in JPJG8 it didn't work, so if your app is just editing the /system/default.prop file, most chances are it won't work either.
Ok, I got a report that the fix did in fact work.

How can I fix it????

Dears in this forum,
could anyone tell me how can I bring back the original battery icon and the clock? I don't how the clock disappeared and the battery icon changed without any installation of themes.
Screen picture is attached.:
have you tried a reset
I had the same problem months ago. The cause isn't the battery icon, but a wrong clock setting.
I'm trying to remember how I fixed it, but... I can't!
I'm sure that is a registry setting!
Edit:
ok, I googled a bit...
I found some articles that reports the same procedure:
Go to:
\HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Shell and change the AnalogClock key from 1 to 0.
Wait a few seconds, then soft reset.

[RESOLVED] Ics official rom crash when I try to change background! (Galaxy S2)

Hello guys,
Unfortunately I still have problems after upgrading to ics ...
I upgraded from gingerbread and I had many problems and continue crashes.
The rom is official Samsung Xeo.
To solve the problems I did a wipe and re-install all the applications from the market (like I have a new phone, without syncing).
Now I have two problems:
If you use third-party app sms messages are sent double (two equal) [For this issue I'm following another post]
The most serious is this:
If I try to set a background image from gallery the phone freezes.
What i do: I go to the gallery, I select the image and immediately becomes all black. After I see popup "Application crash....".
I'm using Nova Launcher but with TouchWiz the problem is the same.
Do you have any idea on how I can fix?
I sought for applications that can set backgrounds. I managed to change but after the phone goes in spurts (with GPU acceleration enabled).
Thank you for your time,
Sli
Try turning of '2d-hardware acceleration' in developers options. Worked with me.
Good luck

The duplicate SMS problem is apparently solved in LP7 though I didn't have it in LPH/J or Q
I read in another thread that the gallery issue is caused by ticking the force GPU rendering option in developer options in settings
