Official WM6 ROM problem

Hi.. I've upload official rom to my hermes mobile, and now I want to back to Shap's rom.. So the problem is I can't. I start RUU from Shap's and can't find my SPL version, so I chose SSPL, complete next steps and I have a question to enter the bootloader on my hermes.. I agree,bootloader shows,and all stops.. For a while on PC i have infomation thats error 260(comunication faild)..Can You help me?

Maybe you could search this (WM6) forum for "error 260" ... include the quotes. It might give you some ideas.
Keep that in mind, and next time you might be able to get answers right away, instead of waiting 2 days+ for someone here to have the time to tell you.

Hi,I do USPL unlock first and is it OK everything.After that I start Original english WM5 ROM,and then appears a error mesage:
ERROR 244:
"these error messages will appear when you use the wrong RUU (ROMUpdateUtility)to do the upgrade. RUU will check if the Model ID and Language ID are compatible with the device. Make sure you use the appropriate RUU tool to upgrade."
I not understand why is that mesage appear?????

Ok,I extract windows.nb from Original english WM5 rom.I download upgraderom and put the windows.nb in the same directory.Before I start the upgraterom,I must to start activesyc??
Will this procedure help me to change language?Yesterday,I USPL unlock my phone and thats is all what I do.
Sory if my english is not well,that is reason why I so carefull.

using it for nearly a day now, i can only say: i am amazed!
not that i dont appreciate all the stuff from our amazing cooks!!!! , but this rom is by far simply the best working!!!!!!!
fast and responsive throu all i do with it! no little "aw, this aint workings"
all i am missing, i simply customize via cabs from the collections.
just on the side: feels to me "loading the battery" is more "solid" here - takes a little longer, but in combination with an originally implemented radio rom....this makes me think....works better than all the "draining roms".
just my opinion a.t.m

Artemis without any rom!! Can't install or upgrage.
My HTC P3300 won't start i cannot detect any rom on it. tried installing a rom via the bootloader screen and it still doesn't work. i seriously need help

Hi,
I need some Help with the Toshiba e830.
Well as I know there are no updates whatsoever, but maybe some of you guys can make one. I really want to have at least wm5 because the old wm2003 doesnt seem to work with most new programs (i need the new opera mobile 9.5)
The device is great hardwarewise. I mean it has all i need.
actually i read, that there was an update for the japanese e830 (japanese Rom)

im telling you. its a great machine, and most of the newer programs are just made for wm5 or wm6. so is there no solution to this.
i mean there is a bootloader for the japanese rom, cant i backup my own, or write a new rom with wm6 on the pda?
are there any other e830 users?

You should do a wm5 or wm6 rom for such e830 users as me,and somebody maybe pay for it

thats what im asking others to do...
because i have absolutely no plan at all...
if there are tutorials on how to do it or someone would explain or help how it works im willing and will try it for sure...
and i guess there are still some e830 users out there.
as i understood, the problem is a bootloader to reach the data in the rom of the device...

hehe, im the one who needs help...
anyway, ive found a bootloader and the japanese rom update...
there are two files: eboot.bin and xip.bin ...
so maybe someone of you guys knows anything...

Nice specs.
I have one in french and i have been locking for many years on how to upgrade an english rom.
Even upgrade to wm5
No luck so far.
i have :
English rom image
French rom
Japanese rom
e800 wm 2003 bootloader
e75x wm 2003 bootloader
osloader 1.5.6.exe
e830jap.exe
e830r0411jap.exe
but don't know what to do with the files.

Unable to flash

I am not sure this is the right place, but here I go, clad in my flameproof suit.... I was going to try the WM 6.5 ROM, but I seem to be unable to flash my Touch Diamond with ANY of the ROMs here, including the HardSPL. It gives a connection error every time I try. The settings on ActiveSync is on USB but I cant change the language on the phone, it remains Danish. Any suggestions other than boooing at this newbie???
