TP2 Sound Enhancement Apps..? - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Windows Mobile General

Hi All
I have buggerised around with SRS WOW HD for the TP2 (which is a great app), but sadly it does not work - sends your phone into a standby it does not wake up from. I did mess a little with a Samsung ported app, with no joy.
EQ apps are kinda crap, an SRS kinda thing is more of an MP3 processor, which MP3's really need on a decent Headphone set, instead of just EQ.
The Equaliser on the TP2 is really not all that good, i wondered if there was something else out there that anyone has seen that works on a TP2...??
Cheers

I have said this in another thread somewhere, but I will say again just in case. I downloaded and tried the audiopara3 full and light boost on my Rhoduim and both times it caused me not to be able to hear the other caller, but they could hear me. After taking it off my phone it works properly.
I've heard that it works on other TP2's but I don't know. Just thought I would share. Plus I hear it will give your device a distorted sound like its too loud or about to blow your speaker, so be careful if you use this.

Thx Supertrooper
I was going for sound enhancement of MP3 music, hence the decent headphones. Thx for the tip, but there surely must be other apps out there beyond SRS WOW to trick up even good bitrate MP3's...?
EQ adjustment is not a quality way to go, is there anything else anyone has heard of...?
Cheers

oops.. my bad. I thought you wanted louder on calls and ringtones. Now I understand what your looking for. The SRS Wow is the only thing that comes to mind for me. Good luck with your findings.

Anyone....???
Cookers..?
Gurus..?

dont use any sound ehancement, the general lesson learnt is that it will damage your speaker, plus the voice will become unreal that you cannot hear it clearly.
it's like you have 14cm ****,then someone make it 18cm long with some surgery, yes, you have longer **** to show around, but the catch is you dont feel pleasure during ML,and cannot ejaculate.
so would you prefer 14cm **** or 18cm one????

i'd prefer my 23 inch one i think..
Anyways.. at least you're not gay
Guys.. have a question..
The volume of the speakers when someone calls you is a bit louder than the volume of the speakers when listening to music right..?
It was the same with my previous phone, and for that phone i had modified the speakers so that they could reach callvolume when listening to music or something..
Is there something like this for HTC TP2?
Thankss

Thx for the replies
Nokiadashi, i can't say that your analogy is not a little concerning. Perhaps a little less penis fixation and a little more understanding of the actual post - but each to their own.
The question is about music enhancement, as in MP3's, not voice or penises and my experience from my old Dopod 838Pro was that SRS improved the (headphone) listening experience for music considerably....

Anyone Ever Solve TP2 Volume Problem?

Has anyone come up with a working solution for the low speaker volume during phone calls on the Touch Pro2? Tried the Audiopara tweak, and lost ALL volume on the speaker, Tried changing settings with "HD Tweak", no effect. FWIW, my ringer volume is fine.
Seems like some folks get results, some don't. My hearing is lousy to start with, so I really need to find a working fix, or ditch the phone.
Use this cab and then reboot
It worked great for me

Makes the button beeps louder, but completely eliminates all phonecall audio!
Not only that, but deleting the cab didn't restore what little audio I had. Had to do a hard reset!!!

I updated to the new wwe 6.5
The Volume on the incall / ear speaker isnt loud enough for me

Strange, I have it working great and imrpoved the volume a lot!
Perhaps is something related with your ROM
If uninstall not helped, which is strange also, then soft reset and if not hard reset will be the option...
Sorry to hear did not worked for you
I feel your pain, brother! I have 3 of these phones, and am about to give up and sell them because of this stupid problem. What really gets me is that I have seen this same very common complaint (low earpiece volume) with other HTC phones as well. I know of several that have been returned. Don't they pay attention to customer feedback? "Full volume" should be painfully loud, not barely audible. Such a shame to have this be the "deal breaker" for an otherwise great phone.
Some might say to try the SRS WOW HD program, don't do it. It causes lockups and the units don't come out of power down states.
Bump. Bump.

All three have the same issue? Cdma or gsm? My verizon tp2 has very adequate volume and I usually have to have it turned down a notch or two or it is painful to my ear. Same when using the loud speaker. I thought I saw a volume fix cab floating around, might be for specific cdma roms, not sure. I'm wondering if it is more of a gsm v. issue. I agree I have seen this with many diff htc phones, but I can also say I've seen/heard of it with nokia and also other makes. Sorry I have no help, just the comment.
Ringtone Gets Loud In The End
My Ringtone Is Low In The Beginning But At The End Of The Ringer Its A Real Loud Increase In The Sound. I Tryed The Rhodium Audio Parameters And The AudioPara3. Should I Try AudioPara4???? Im on Radio 4.49.25.17 And Under Software Info It Says...
OS Version: 5.2.21854
Manila Version: 2.1.19202517.0
Rom Version: The Cell Pro Series WWE
Rom Date: 9/25/09
I Need Help With Making My Ringers LOUD!!!!!! LOL and im on 6.5
Related:
I have too LOUD in-call volume from the phone.
Using the built-in volume rocker does NOTHING to the in-call voice volume.
The volume is so excruciatingly painful that I can keep my wired HTC hf set 10cm from my ears and still listen perfectly to the conversation.
Not very practical though.
Is there ANY working solution that makes the Volume controller actually control in-call voice volume during phone calls?
I'm running stock 6.5 ROM with no hacks and no audio related software installed.
Bump
Still hoping for an answer.

[Q] Camera recording sound

Hi,
Quick question about the way this device records sound. Its by far the best phone ive ever used to record sound, however i keep running into a problem with volume levels. It never stays constant and fluctuates depending on whether the sound is loud or quiet.
Now that wont make sense at first so heres a link to a video i shot in the studio with some friends.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/zjcbpfrutvvgher/lemon eyes - 12-06-12.mp4
Note at around 2:20 in the volume changes quite dramatically. I assure you, in real life the volume of the sound was constant throughout the song, the only change was that both guitars had stopped playing, thus decreasing the decibel level slightly (the guitar sounds at that point were from the effects pedals), which surely wouldve made it quieter if anything
I dont believe this a manufacturing defect as ive had it on the past 4 HOX's i owned, but perhaps more to do the way the sound is processed. It is the same result recording in mono/stereo/720/1080 etc.
EDIT Just remembered, i had to turn my speakers up all the way to hear that properly so the recording level is far too quiet as it is. I can barely hear it through the phones speaker.
Yeah got same problem,
I did turn the stereo off in video options which did improve it. Give it a go and turn the Stereo feature off.
The sound was not dropping as much,
I tested this out at a footy match.

Thats a temporary fix i suppose, it did improve it though it didnt fix it for me.
Does anybody know if this is something that is likely to be resolved by a software update? Or can anybody recommend any apps to record this type of thing with if it is a software issue.

[Q] mic sounds really bad

Every time I record audio with my phone (mostly voicenotes on whatsapp) the sound is really bad, I can hear myself clearly but I get so much background noise, and If I record a song that's playing it sounds real loud and messed up. Nobody has ever comlpained about the sound when they talk to me on the phone but compared to many other phones I've had I find this one to have bad mic quality. Am I the only one who feels this way? if not then has anyone tried some sort of fix for this? (assuming my phone isn't actually broken lol)

Is there any real audio issue with Mi Max (Prime)?

Premise: I know I just opened another topic (but this is a completely different question) and that there are several articles (and potential "fixes") around on XDA and elsewhere, but I see people having the following issues and others not (especially in reviews)
Hi everyone,
I have a simple question: is Mi Max Prime suffering from low sound volume (i.e. below the average)? if yes, is that probleme so severe that - for example - you may not hear the alarm clock or a phone call in speaker mode?
I know there are a couple of fixes around but I also saw many people not solving the issue with those.
Thank you in advance

For me is ok, not problem at all. Not best, not the more strong, but good.

Would you say the sound is possible to hear from some distance? (like a few meters or another floor)

I'd say, testing any alarm (default one should work) and a pop song music (at your choice).
Here too is night. Feel free to do it when you have a moment
I'm a good guy to ask. Quite deaf, use my phone for an alarm clock. I can hear people when they "force" their voice in close proximity, otherwise break out the pen and paper if I don't have fresh hearing aid batteries.
Alarm clock (alarmy) scares me so bad I try to beat my rise time just to turn it off. Loud, oh hell yea, it's loud.
Talking on the phone I can just make out sounds, without my hearing aids. That's says good things about the phone, because normally I get nothing.
You can always root and edit the mixer_paths in system_ect. Done it many times on my Samsung phones, but as I say, no need (for me) on the Max.
Just got a Mi Max a few days ago, the ring volume I will call it just enough, The only issue is when I hear music with headphone and turn on the Mi Sound effect then the volume will drop a lot, I need to turn off the effect and re-plug the headphone to resume the volume.
The volume has gotten better since Miui 8 and it's good on my RR ROM. YouTube is hit or miss depending on the video you watch. A lot of videos are uploaded with low sound and some with louder sound. Everything else seems okay to me although nothing compares to the sheer loudness of the speakers on my Nexus 6P.

Annd how about the ringtone?

Hello guys,
Those of you who already have the phone, can you tell us how loud does the ringtone sounds? I'm more interested if both speakers are playing the ringtone when the phone rings and if the quality of the ringtone (given it comes from the same front speakers as the music playing) is on the same page as playing any other kind of music through the player.
Thanks in advance!
Loud, clear, aand out of both speakers!
