ANY FORM FOR HELP WHIT GETTING MANILA V 2.5 RUNNING ON DIAMOND
i got 2 version
1 working butto big in display
other cant get it to start up
so any help is welcome
I think it cant be resized...It requires wayy to much space, witch the diamond dosent have. If it could be resized, it would probably chop the part where the colums in the home screen are...
only the gen.y 2.1 will work on the diamond atm
well that is not right
im working on porting the manila 2.5
an there is already 1 out for diamond cdma

I've just flashed a ROM with integrated TF 2D to my old Hermes and I Have to say: WOW its realy nice, incredible fast (on a Hermes) and there a many extensions, themes and so on.
I know that there is a thread about tf2d on vga-devices, so I'm asking my self: Why we don't have a Diamond-Rom with tf2d?

because i belive it still don't work right on the diamond
THIS IS WHY THERE IS NOT ROMS HERE YET WITH IT.
i know what you mean - i have manila2d on my trinity.
however, diamond has touch flo 3d and with a bit of tweaking it is fast enough.
i suggest to have the goodies from manila2d included in the tf3d.
i.e.
. analog clock
. customize tab list
would be great if someone can keep an eye on this.

Hi ive been searching the forums trying 2 find the new touchflo 3d to install on my my blackstone and i cant find it i wonder if any would could point me in the right direction so i can install the new 2.5 touchflo on my devices

TouchFLo 2.5 isn't ready for actual use yet. You'll have to wait a little while longer until a lot of bugs are worked out. Just keep an eye on the ROMZ section as I'm sure it will pop up soon enough. There is a rom out right now that has TouchFLo 2.5 in it but GSM is crippled so you cannot send text messages as well as some other problems. There is a link in this thread to a cooked ROM with touchflo 2.5 if you want to try it out.

Thanks for the replay i want the same touchflo version on miris 6.5 rom which is the same as the touch diamond 2 is that version availble 2 install on 6.1

The most up to date version of manila that I have seen cooked into roms is TouchFLo v2.1, but I have not seen this available as a cab. Then again, I never look for cab versions of TouchFlo. I personally use Dutty's 3.9XT Turbo rom. It is WM6.1 and is available with manila V2.1. Great rom, fast, and stable. Sorry I can't tell you where to find a .cab file for touchflo v2.1 though.
Thanks for your reply il look for a .cab. i flashed miris 6.5 which had manila but i found that if made the camera a lot pixely maybe it was just me so i flash back to the htc wm6.1 im a bit gutted that the htc touch hd is not getting the 6.5 upgrade and was thinking of selling a getting a diamond 2

No CAB for Manilla 2.0 or 2.1. Never has been, probably never will be. Only ever seen it cooked into the ROM.
Hey guys I'm just too happy ! I was looking for a way to get all the nicest UIs going on my omnia i900, I know HTC forum......but you need to know that I'm now running manila 2D as today screen ! Getting closer to you.....
So here it goes, I'm running mobile shell 3 WITH, la révolution sence V2 skin, and has I said HTC manila 2D for today screen. Nice
I still have a whole 11 MB, hmmmm don't need more for now, and they both run really, really smooth to !

how did u get m2d working for wqvga?
someone made a cab for that...but I don't have it anymore. Was sucking the life out of my phone....
there seems to be some progress with the Manilla 2.5 port for the Diamond.

This one is CDMA only and has a few bugs as well as a lot of resizing to be done. But its that little bit closer to the real deal.

Manila 2.5 need alots of RAM to runs smooth so its not a good idea to port to a Diamond !!!!!!!!!!!

so we see us back here. Yes manila 2.1 have not so much things, but after i have made some test (manila 2.5 - leo) on the phone from wife ;-), i am back to 2.1. It is faster then 2.5.
By the way...your BootPackage works great
