Here is the NewVision v3r2 with new lock screen, the oponish dialer, palm pre status bar, and Ophone drawables.
All Credit goes to JAC and Drizzy for making this amazing speedy rom, Just touched up some drawable's and added mods that were out there already for you guys. The dialer and locksreen were not created by me, I actually couldnt find the thread so I cant find the person who made the graphics but anyway thanks to him lol, also give thanks to L3 Wish for some images used.

You won't be able to pull and push the one file, you need the whole framework.apk if you want to push. I think it's best to just flash, or download the rom then pull the framework.apk and push. The file is statusbar_backround.png i believe.
do u know what dont work on this rom..the only thing i dont like bout the HERO is there is no bluetooth..other then that its great

LOL i want a Palm-Hero as well, i asked l3 wish to see if he can mod his app drawer to work on hero but I dont think he wants to. Thats all i need and i can do the rest.

Download it from the thread jonnylicious has, then open both apks, copy and paste the res folders on to the same apks on the rom you want to flash, sign the update and flash. lol not that simple, you cant push the two apks because they run on there own odex files, so thats why you have to copy paste just the res folders to the original rom you want the dialer on.

Yes! It works. I just pushed frame-res.apk to /system/framework with no problems. Didn't even have to resign an apk.

I "ported" (very little work by me) Krispy's Metamorph for the GSM Hero to the G1, so that we may have a Gingerbread looking theme. I also included the animations and color folder from gingerbread which he didn't have included. The pictures are from Krispy's page, as they are essentially the same theme.

This changes the fonts, animations, and framework images to gingerbread style.
Use metamorph to flash this, and then use CyanogenMod settings -> User Interface to change the Clock, Date, and Notifications ticker to white.
Update 1.1: Added Krispy's changes.
v1.1 now has both animation- and theme-packages in seperate metamorph directories. That way you can choose whether you want those animations or not ... or just the animations Also it has cleaned up contactframes (aka they be gone now) as well as cleaned up waiting spinners (no more jagged edges there).

i'm not necessarily sure exactly which they would be. I used to have animations off, and it's been awhile since i've seen the old ones.
But for sure, the animations of when you unlock the screen and when a menu pops up are different.
Also when a menu pops up (flys up in a semi circle from the bottom right corner), the background fades out over a few seconds, that may or may not have been there before because I was never looking for it, but I think that's new too.
To answer your other question, this probably will work on the hero also, and probably any mdpi device that is running Froyo, but i'm not going to make any promises due to me not having a Hero!
As with Krispys Metamorph, installs the fonts but not the framework-res

Interesting.. Metamorph needs 1 Root, 2 Busybox, 3 adequate space on /system, 4 proper naming. might be something else you need, but check all those. Try using Titanium Backup to re-install busybox
Also try applying the framework-res individually instead of Apply All, if you haven't do that already

Pretty sure it will be the busybox, im trying from a fresh install, trying to get this theme to work before i bother re-installing my apps from titanuim backup, ill reboot install titanium backup(busybox) retry and report, iv got over 100mb in both phone and SD card

i can't send you a framework-res.apk because I don't have a hero sorry.
and i don't know if changing the custom pull downbar would cause bootloops, because i've had no need to change the color since this makes it black

Edit: hey you know what, send me YOUR framework-res.apk and i'll replace the files and send it back! send me the one that krispy gave you that work, that way i'll only replace the /anim and /color folders

Yeah some for me using winrar and 7zip, i downloaded it 3 times its always corrupt, maybe thats where im going wrong.
Also that was the original .apk

Actually this is only a mockup and as i'm don't know how to make it work, if anyone
wants to help me with this theme it would be nice!
I would like to design this theme based on android menus etc. but with way better graphics.
Also of course i'll design all the graphical parts for the theme and i'm going to make it very professional!

your on right track already grab a rom kitchen rom wipe and non wipe of ur preferred base.
you have two folders to work with ( lets say 2.2.1 roms ) - open the zip:
navigate to system/framework/drawable-hdpi-v4 or drawable-hdpi
for frameworks and twframeworks
thats were you start with the images you will gradually get to know what is what after about 100 flashes

Are you familiar with apktool? Once you are comfortable with decompiling and compiling apks, it's just a matter of replacing pngs and (perhaps) editing some xml files. Do check out some info on 9 patch files as they may cause problems during the compilation process.

thats were you start with the images you will gradually get to know what is what after about 100 flashes

yes you can modify that lock screen and you will find those images in framework = drawable-hdpi

The lockscreen is possible too and i can make this one!
update: if you are on a diffrent rom othere then deodexed stock check the bottom of the OP for other frameworks.

“If you want to do it yourself, here's how:
I use notepad++ for editing, but any editor will work. Use apkmanager to decompile / compile framework-res.apk.
Edit res/layout/keyguard_screen_tab_unlock.xml.
In line 2 replace android:background="@color/background_dark" with android:background="@drawable/default_wallpaper".
In line 5 replace android:background="#30000000" with android:background="@color/transparent".
In line 12 replace android:layout_marginBottom="80.0dip" to android:layout_marginBottom="0.0dip".
Edit res/layout/zzz_keyguard_screen_lockscreenwallpaper.xml.
In line 2 replace android:background="#ff000000" with android:background="@color/transparent".
In res/drawable-hdpi:
Replace default_wallpaper.jpg with default_wallpaper.png. Replace zzzzzzzz_default_lockscreenw.jpg with transparent zzzzzzzz_default_lockscreenw.png (can be any png size 480x800).”
Instructions:
This is a stock Deodexed Framework. There are NO other mods other than the transparent Lock screen. You can install this two different ways.
1: Use your favorite file manager (root explorer or Es) to push the file to system/framework. provided below
2: you can flash the Zip file that I have provided. provided below
3: reboot.
4: Go to settings==>applications==.manage applications==>all==>gallery and clear data.
Hit the home button and then the power button to lock:
When you hit the power to use the phone you should have the transparent lock screen.

Works great on Calkulins Rom didn't have to do anything to make it work. The only thing it will do is replace Calkulins battery and replace it with the stock.

I will check right now I never use it so I didn't think of checking. You will lose your crt animations as well

I cant do this for everyone, (just no enough time with the holidays coming) but if you post your framework-res.apk i will change it for you OR you can ask the dev that made the Rom to add it in.

Here is the framework-res.apk from Calkulin's 1.05 ROM. Should be a pretty popular ROM...

I appreciate it but it doesn't bother me to have them or the battery percentage. I never have the crt animations on I just wanted to warn the people who do have these options that they will go away. Your lock screen mod is killer love it.

1. 6 is out calkulin had to fix the bad internet lag and some other stuff.

Ok.. so im not on calk's rom so i need you to test for me. i have attached a zip and the apk for simplicity. let me know and if it works ill add to the OP.
Edit: just dl'ed 1.06 to mod.
ill do it when i get back. going to buy MW3 (been tosing it around in my head all day) I dot pissed at all the cheaters in mw2 and black ops. hopefully they fixed somethings.

did you flash it through CWM or pushed via ADB/root explorer? and the 1.05 framework works on calk 1.06? sorry just making sure for me and others

not sure if there were any changes by the dev in the framework from 1.05 to 1.06 but here is the 1.06 framework.

Hey bro, I really do not like asking people for favors around XDA, but can you PLEASE to this for me? I have no experience with editing .xml files or even going beyond ninjamorph to solve my .png fixes. If I upload my framework-res.apk file, can you please put the mod into it, so I can just replace it in root explorer? I will be forever grateful lol.

There have been a few people asking for a 4.3 version of Dandroid for the d2spr. Until one officially comes out, here are the SystemUI, SPlanner, SecSettings, SecPhone, SecMms, SecLauncher2, SecContacts, and SecCalculator apks along with bootanimation in a flash-able zip. This is still a WIP so there are a few pngs that aren't quite right.
This does not include any mods! The center, blue clock and the CM battery icon you see in the screen shots are XPosed moduels.
All of the apks are from CNexus' DeOdexed Stock ROM and the pngs for the theme have come from Dandroid by Danvdh with a few changes here and there by me. Thanks goes out to them for all their hard work and support for the XDA community. Also a big thank you goes out to Rompnit for letting me use his 4x5 launcher and transparent weather widget! Be sure to go thank him for all of his work on MOAR!
Since these are all based on stock, I have no way of knowing for sure if they are compatible with a ROM that has been moded so please make a nandroid before flashing.
This is for TouchWiz 4.3 only!

No not as far as I see and I check daily on new roms.. dandroid is still on 4.1.2

I flashed it on my d2att running official mjb and it worked..was just looking for more of like secmms mods. Changing bubbles and stuff like that

I'll take a look at see what I can do. Tonight would have been my night to work on it but I was at a Christmas play practice and didn't get to.
I use 8sms from the play store myself. It's hard to beat when it comes to AOSP mms.

Here you go.
Edit: The bootanimation is different from how I've seen it in the past. Samsung uses .qmg files instead of .zips. This one is currently a bit choppy but once the new kernels are up to 100% we'll have more freedom to be creative.
Edit2: By the way, this doesn't have any effect on the down animation. If you want to get rid of that you can go into System/media/video/shutdown and either delete the 2 files in there or rename them by adding ".bak" on the end after the ".qmg".

It's in system/media called bootsamsung.qmg. To work with .qmg files you need a porgram called "Samsung Theme Designer". I don't have any experience with that yet. Just DLed it the other day but haven't been able to play with it.
