Is anybody intrested in german ROM?

Hi folks,
if there's anybody intrested in german ROM, please let me know how to extract it from my HTC Dimond Touch.

yeah, well done for posting this thread twice....

I am definetely interested! Unfortunately I don´t know how to extract the ROM, maybe one ofthe more experianced people can help.
ps: do you have the O2 ROM or the generic german ROM?

Read the Kaiser Wiki or the dutch ROM dump thread here in diamond forum for dumping instructions.

I could also extract my original (german) htc rom - but i do not know how. if someone can put me in the right direction, i will do this.

No one uploads his ROM
OK let's start with some hints
first read this:

post #18 shows you the way, but read from the beginning to understand the dump procedure.

i could give it a try - but is it worth trying since i only have the rom version 1.37.00.00? i think there's a newer rom out there, isn't there?

Yepp, mine is 1.37.407.2 GER.

I didn't post it twice. The Website had problems I think. Because I did lose connection to it while posting. After that it was down. Ok, ok, it was my fault, that it was down, because I posted it twice, right?

So it seems that YOU have to dump your rom However I did read that a higher number (1.37.407.2 > 1.37.00.00) does not inevitable imply a newer rom. Does someone know something about that?
Anyway I ask myself how it could be that the phone is out just a few days in germany and there are almost so much different rom versions?
Btw: Do you have an original HTC device or a branded one?

It's HTC Touch Diamond (original and unbranded) - I'll try to extract the ROM.

Touch Diamond ROM update for TMN customers

Hi, i haven't been on the forums in a while now, but did you guys see there is new rom out for htc? Well atleast new to me?
A_RUU_Diamond_HTC_PTG_1.93.410.3_Radio_Signed_Diamond_52.29.25.12_1.00.25.0
Goin to open it up in kitchen see whats new and such.

Hmm... what is the difference between My Diamond rom dated 2008-07-31 on there site and a TMN rom?? Cuz I cant download it from HTC site! Says, I got the wrong phone when enter my serial . So I dont dear to install this it if its burn my rom to hell.... Ul find it here

Original, up-to-date Diamond Rom

Heey people,
could someone please tell me where to get the latest official rom from HTC?
Cus i have a branded version of the Diamond, so i cant download it from their site.
I hope one of you knows where to get that latest version without having to use the serialnumber of my phone, because that serial number doesn't work.

Okay, I need to apologize because I didn't see this post was on the forums: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=413910.
But 1,93 isn't really that up to date, is this the only post containing original roms that you guys know off, because i've used the search function a billion times by now, with a dictionary full of keywords, but i haven't found anything higher than 1,93.

my orange branded phone doesn't let you download the update either
although in all honesty apart from that one thread i haven't searched for the offical rom yet, just starting to get fed up of the little things that don't work that you rarely use in custom roms

That's why i started this thread really, I just want the official rom on it again, so i can enjoy the 'functionallity' that it should have.
I'm not saying that those custom roms suck or something, i LOVED using them, really! But im thinking of selling my phone, and i don't want to sell it disfunctioning.
So, please help me out haaha

These are obviously newer than the ones found in the link i posted earlier. I found a 2.03 version in that post which is Dutch, so if this is the latest we can get in Holland, i'll be definatly downloading that version.

You mean that's the latest version of the official rom? then im downloading that 2.03 version for my phone.

Re brand the desire

I unbranded my desire from o2 to stock 2.1 then updated it to froyo 2.2.
I now have reverted back to 2.1 (stock) but how do I go about installing the o2 ROM again. I have tried using the files from the other thread which has all the official roms but it does not seem to work.
How do I go about doing this? (I'm using windows)

Also, don't you need to use a Goldcard? Maybe that's what is tripping you up?

No, I have tried that ROM It has not worked, I also have a Goldcard too.

Look for a RUU from O2 on shipped-roms

The only one they have is the one that I have tried and it doesn't work. It says something about a boot loader.

Why you don´t install the rom from the o2 site...??

i don´t know it..because i´m live in germany....maybe try and see...(i only know that english is also in the rom as lang...so it´s not only a german rom

Tried that it doesn't work, some people have managed to do it but its not an easy fix. I'll live with it for now.

Where to find original ROMs for DHD ?

Good day everyone ,
I've been looking for an original ROMs for my DHD , but I didn't come up with anything..!
I hope if some of you have a link or an idea how to get an original ROM as I need to update my DHD officially from HTC.
I'm requesting if possible a ROM for Middle-East.. if not at least a UK ROM would be good..

I also installed stock ROM after rooting. Hope it will be helpful for you too...

If u had custom rom before u'd better wipe before installing stock one )
