when i close my opera it restarts continuously. i did the reg-tweaks to close opera, but it still restarts
this could be due to the push-internet that is still turned on

I like to open multiple tabs, usually 10+.
Eventually I will hit a situation where one of the chrome tabs hang and won't scroll anymore. If I switch to other tabs, they'll still respond, but will be jumpy, like chrome is busy doing something else.
I noticed whenever I get into this state, by broadband connection is pegged at 100% utilization (via SNMP monitor)
Once I close the chrome app, usage immediately goes to 0%.
I've gone through logcat and dmesg to see if there was anything obvious like highly repeated errors. While there were errors, nothing really seemed to indicate Chrome was stuck doing something repeatedly.
It has been doing this for 10 minutes now while I looked through the logs.
There is no video on any of the tabs and the network activity continues even when the screen is shutoff and even if Chrome is not in the foreground anymore.
This is on stock Android with with the exception of SuperSU 1.51 installed. The same behavior was happening before SU got installed though (ie pure stock)
The reason I first noticed this is someone else complained the broadband connection was a little slow and whether I was watching a video, which I was not. I have traffic shaping on my router, so even at 100% things can work ok, just a little slower, so I just assumed someone else was watching a video, but when they asked me, I knew something was not right.
Android is otherwise responsive and the hung tab eventually became responsive again, though if I open more tabs, the chance of a hung tab increase tremendously when I am in this state.
Anybody else experience something like this?
chrome has serious issues... cpu usage is just nuts....
it hangs a lot.. at times it won't register clicks... I use boat in fact paid for boat browser yesterday... first try the free version... btw it supports flash :
Chrome really sucks right now. Hangs for me with one tap of endaget open... Weird and annoying
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Chrome, along with chromepie extension is the best browser, but I can't stand anymore the constant 2 seconds freezing every time I scroll down a page... Does anyone know how to fix this? Is this kernel related?
When is the last time that you cleared the caches?
I've tried clearing cache and data, didn't work...
My Zenfone 2 is 2gb ram ZE551ML variant. My phone basically works fine. But after turning on mobile data/wifi my phone begins to lag a lot. Everything is very slow. The animations lags. If I try to launch an app it takes a long time to open. If I pull the notification bar it lags too. So, basically everything lags and launching everything becomes very slow. It only happens after turning on mobile data/wifi. This problem automatically fixes after a while like 2minutes or so. If I have any notification then it pops out if I don't have any then nothing. I'm using auto start manager of Asus. Only facebook, messenger, Google fit, Opera max, Internet speed meter is allowed in auto start manager. But facing this terrible problem of lagging. I tried wipe cache partition. After this my phone works fine for 4-5 days. I don't face any lags. After 4-5 days again I start to face this lags after connecting my phone to internet. What's wrong here!!! Why I'm having this problem??? Is there any solution??? Help me please. Using the latest 183 firmware. How can I solve this frustrating lagging problem?? ?
i just got the phone and it cant stay on a minute. i flashed it to 6.0.1 and just when the optimization reaches 80%, crash and reboot. it somehow passed the optimization by 15 apps and booted to crash at the 'unlock loading thing'. downgraded it to 5.1.1, now it cant even pass the 'android is starting...' page because its too slow. is it hardware? i wanna cover the software side first. it keeps rebooting after being on for few minutes. suggestions, rather than the 'reset it'?
Anyone else having the random, but often enough, issue where you'll be casually scrolling in any app (Facebook, Instagram, Samsung Internet, and others) and suddenly the scrolling speed goes crazy fast and skips through a bunch of stuff so you have to then scroll way back up to see what you missed? I think it started happening with the update to Android 12.
