Guys, I've got the Hero theme (created by Soulife) running on my Roger's Dream:
Actual Image of phone (i know you would want proof):
Some screen shots taken with ddms:
Instructions:
(Of course what you do with your phone is on you, blah blah blah so don't blame me if something goes wrong)
1. Get root on your RD (Roger's Dream)
2. Download the soulife's Hero theme for Roger's Rom
Media Fire Download Link
3. rename the download to "update.zip" and place on the root of your SD card
4. Power your Phone off
5. While Holding down Home Button, start holding down Power button as well hold both until Rogers Logo appears
6. Make a Nandroid Backup
NOTE: if step 6 gives you an error saying sdcard not found, just try it again, mine usually give an error 2 times then works on the 3rd
7. Once the Cyan's Recovery image loads, select "apply update.zip from sdcard"
NOTE: if step 7 gives you an error saying sdcard not found, just try it again, mine usually give an error 2 times then works on the 3rd
8. Once it says done, then select the option to reboot.
The phone will reboot and may time 2 - 5 minutes at the HTC logo, this is normal. It it takes longer than 10-20 minutes use the nandroid backup to do a restore of your boot, system, and data ".img" files via adb and fastboot.
Very cool!! how is the performance? I've read some postings that say it was clunky and others saying it was fine. Right now I'm running Open Home and have a few themes for that. Sometimes it seems like it has to catch up to load the home screen but for the most part it's just as fast as stock (from what I can remember).

This works great! Make sure you install Weather Widget 2.0 to get the full effect (hero style flipper clock and weather)
Hey, just wanted to say thanks to mburris, for the post. Was a simple update to do. I suppose it's a good teaser until we got some ROM's happening on the Rogers Dream. I haven't found any significant lag with this theme myself. My biggest issue was, I was using ahome as default, and it took me about 15min to figure out how to change it from the default. Although, some settings will show up in either desktop mode, for example a different dialer (much better than the original colours)
This has already been done the rom is called MAXIMARv1.1
Update went swell. Easy as strawberry-rhubarb pie.
Some screenshots:
My only problem with the theme is the music widget is still white. Not a big deal, but maybe in an update?
Thanks a lot!
This is so very awesome. Thanks for the work!!
Update took 10 minutes
What does this all change?

It changes the artwork (probably mostly for icons) in the following apps:
AlarmClock.apk
Browser.apk
Calculator.apk
Calendar.apk
Camera.apk
Contacts.apk
GoogleSearch.apk
HTCAlbum.apk
HTCLauncher.apk
Mms.apk
Music.apk
Phone.apk
Settings.apk
Vending.apk
It changes the system images and colors in these apks:
framework-res.apk
services.jar
other than that, it doesn't change any thing
the status bar doesnt change on virtududes v3, maybe I missed something...

That’s what I thought, just cosmetic [Which I love, thanks again!] But it seems to be running smoother. I know there shouldn’t be a reason for that, but it just seems to run smoother…

Well, I am using Weather Widget Paid version.
You could also use Beautiful Widgets.
They are pretty much direct copies of the Hero widgets.
EDITED: Removed the not-so-legal bits.

hey guys, quick question: how would we revert back to the original theme if we choose not to keep this one?
Cool! Thanks mburris, works exactly as described.
A few questions for a noob if someone could help.
Is rooting the Rogers Dream the same as what is posted in the how to forum?
As well as using nandroid backup and cyanogen's recovery is it all the same steps as what is posted in the how to part of the development forum?
Thanks in advance!

Is this what you want:
Here's how:
1. Connect your device via USB
2. Get to your ADB shell
Code:
G:\SDK\tools>adb shell
3. get into your system\app folder
Code:
cd system/app
4. Remove existing Music app
Code:
rm Music.apk
5. Exit the shell
Code:
exit
6. Download the attached Music.zip file, extract it to your folder that adb is in, in my example its in G:\SDK\tools
7. from a command prompt, make sure you are in your tools folder and type:
Code:
adb install Music.apk
that should do it, no reboot required

Updated: Sept 8 2009 Now over 50 clocks some in 2 sizes. Have fun with the new clocks and the new Candy.
--Linuxrebel--
I'm one of those who loves Eye Candy, but hates windows. So despite some excellent work done by xidominicanoix I couldn't use the work. So with xidominicanoix's permission to use the collection I've written a shell script that can run on your SD card and installs the new clocks in quick order.
NOTE: This is for rooted phones only. I've tested it pretty heavily on my G1 but your mileage is not guaranteed. If you are not comfortable in a Linux/Unix shell you might be best off with the tool here.
I claim only that it worked on my phone, (and that it looks cool to me )
Directions for use (Copy of the directions are also in the README file):
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
This is a quick and easy way to change the clocks on your phone without the hassle of using windows adb, etc.
Unfortunately for those who aren't rooted, this will not work. Root is required to be able to use
this script and change the clock. There are lots of tutorials on how to root phones, so go forth and google to find your answers.
Usage:
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
1. Connect your phone to your main computer and copy the file clocks.tgz to your sdcard
2. Disconnect the phone, as the rest will not need your computer to complete.
3. Open a term window (I like connectbot your preference may vary)
4. su
5. cd /sdcard
6. tar -vzxf clocks.tgz (this will open the tar gzip file)
7. cd Clocks
8. sh setclock.sh backup (This will backup your existing clock)
9. sh setclock.sh [name of the clock you want to use]
You can remove the clocks.tgz file anytime you want once it is opened it's no longer used. If you run backup a second time it restores the originally backed up clock.
NOTES:
Images of the various clocks are in the the directory called Images. The Image viewer on the G1 picks them up (may need to force it to re-read) and I'd imagine that the other phones work the same, so you can see what it is you are going to get that way. The Directory name will match the name of the picture to make life better. To add a clock to this script all you need to do is make a directory under Clocks, with the AlarmClock.apk file in it, and then run the script to have it 'installed' the same as all the others.
Again thanks to xidominicanoix for gathering together permission to use all of these clocks, and giving me the idea to do it this way. (Since I couldn't use his bloody windows tools )
--Linuxrebel--
You can download the tarball at the following link:

md5sum 7c1253ba43d6b21194b56c489b9fb7e6 clocks.tgz
Seems I forgot about the Windows side of the world. All I have at home are *nix systems (Linux, Mac and BSD), so if you are not on a *nix or Cygwin enabled system a zip file

Yeah I am having problems with his, just can't seem to get it working for me.
Edit: So we have to go back into term everytime we want to change it? Or am I missing the easier way to do it?

Good bad or ugly, yes you do need to go back to term. UNLESS a miracle happens and I instantly figure out how to to Android style programming I'm an admin not a programmer.
Np, I can deal with term a helluva a lot easier than I can with adb.
works great..takes a few seconds after initial set up to bang into terminal the commands to change the clock. I have had issues with ADB where I seem to lose adb connection for unknown reasons and phone doesnt connect so this method for me is alot easier.
thanks!
works great .. .thanks ... it shows up on my home screen but does not show up in my open home home screen :/ is there a way I could make it work in open home?

The normal location of the clock is /system/app (or //system/app, same place extra /)
Is it perhaps possible that the theme you are using moves the AlarmClock.apk? If you can give me a link to the theme (I'm more than a little tired at the moment and having really lousy luck with search.) I'll see if I can figure out what the author of that did, or if it is even the problem.

And what about even more easiest switching. Try this one http://www.mediafire.com/?whgtmmt5uui. Unpack copy folder to sd card then run just once clock_install.sh via GScript Lite app. For switch clock open terminal and write clock.
I'm running on CM 4.0.4 and when I input the setclock.sh clock name it works and everything works perfect except that I never can get the clock widget its always the same watch as before any help?

I am running CM 4.04 too on my MT3G and everything works. I now have TedLight clock on my phone. The only problem I have is that I wanted Clock5, but my keyboard or emulator refuse to use digits. What am I doing wrong? Is there a way to type digits or it is just my phone is not cooperating?
Thanks.

Gives me a lot of Force Close Errors.

I just downloaded the green data icons pack but the 1x icons seem to be missing, anyone know where i might be able to find these?

GUIDE: Getting some old features back
INTRO: For those who dislike some of the changes/features made to roms as they are developed and are asking how to get them back, here is a how to. It is usually a simple matter of pushing the old files from previous builds into your current rom. Keep in mind that the devs are building a rom as they see fit. As with any rom that you don't build yourself, there will always be things you want to change.
-If there is a bug, post it in the thread.
-If there is a change that you personally want, then do it yourself. Don't expect the dev, and everyone else who uses the rom, to accommodate your specific needs/wants. You may not have noticed, but you aren't the only one using the rom!
NOTE: This guide and code are meant for the virtuous sense rom, but the concept is universal. For example, if you are using some rom and the new version is posted with, say the amazon mp3 apk removed, and you want it back, refrain from cluttering up the dev's thread with a request to have it back. This is both selfish and a waste of posting space. If you are to the point of installing custom roms, you should first be able to type basic adb/terminal emulator commands to copy/delete files. In this case you would extract the amazon mp3 apk from an old .zip and push/install it into your current one. Now wasn't that easier than waiting and hoping that someone will do it for you?
NOW TO THE GUIDE:
Auto brightness mod - To revert from the auto brightness 'mod', which is far too sensitive, to the original, simply pull the services.jar and framework-res.apk from a rom before the patch, and push them to your framework folder. I've attached them to the second post for ease.
Reboot into recovery
Code:
adb shell mount /system
adb shell rm /system/framework/services.jar
adb shell rm /system/framework/framework-res.apk
adb push [directory of saved file]\services.jar /system/framework
adb push [directory of saved file]\framework-res.apk /system/framework
Reboot
-------------------
Keyboard mapping - The www/com key has been changed to a tab, which is good, as it was non-functional before. However the user keys have been changed too. I've modified a file which keeps the www/com key as TAB but also keeps the user keys as user assignable keys. Also attached to second post.
Reboot into recovery
Code:
adb shell mount /system
adb shell rm /system/usr/keylayout/vision-keypad.kl
adb push [directory of saved file]\vision-keypad.kl /system/usr/keylayout
Reboot
-------------------
Rosie auto-rotate - If you want to keep it so that rosie will only be in portrait mode with the keyboard closed, but dont want to turn off auto-rotate throughout all apps, just push the old rosie. Also attached to second post.
Reboot into recovery
Code:
adb shell mount /system
adb shell rm /system/app/com.htc.launcher.apk
adb push [directory of saved file]\com.htc.launcher.apk /system/app
Reboot
Attachments:
You need to rename "services.jar.zip" back to "services.jar" and "vision-keypad.kl.zip" back to "vision-keypad.kl". This is because the forum wont let you upload .kl and .jar extensions as attachments.
Thanks so much for this. I'll definitely be pushing the auto-brightness mod back, and I may do the keyboard, too (might let others do that one first, or see if rmk40/eViL release an update with that first).
Thanks for this!

Good idea with this thread. It's impossible for us to please everyone and this is absolutely the most constructive way to deal with everyone's personal preferences. There is one key consideration for everyone. If we make other changes to the frameworks which you DO want, pushing files from this thread which have not been updated with said features will eliminate those changes as well. Point is, the concept here is good but it needs to be maintained.
Also, the intention with Virtuous is to provide options. The ROM isn't finalized so ROM Manager isn't populated with all the variants it will eventually have. Case in point, we had to re-base on the new Egypt RUU and are in the process of re-applying all our changes. If we had a variety of options, we would have to redo all of those as well. Once we're in a more "final" state, you'll start to see a lot more choices officially supported with the ROM.
The keyboard mod you have here will probably just become part of Virtuous 0.8.0, by the way. I had not realized our replacement eliminated the quick key customizations (oversight).
Chances are I'm not doing it right, as I'm only about 2% oriented in using ADB, but after following the code, pushing the files, etc, the phone boots up with perpetual errors and crashes. (Phone cannot be launched, etc.)
The process in which I did it was:
Wipe the G2, install v0.7.0, update to 0.7.4, remain in recovery and use adb and followed the code you provided above. (Everything says it works, in terms of mounting, pushing, etc.)
I've also tried it where I reboot after updating, let the phone launch fully, then go back to recovery to push the mod files. Same errors occur.
The only two mods I was interested in were the auto-brightness one and the orientation one.
Any idea what I did wrong?

Well from what you are saying, it sounds like the methods are correct. Did you make sure to remove the ".zip" from the end of the services.jar.zip file?

Yup, and I have "always show extension" enabled in folder options, so I definitely got rid of the .zip.
Maybe I'll fiddle with it a little more, see if I missed something.
All right, here's the error I get after removing the files for the brightness mod, and pushing the ones you attached in:
"The application Google Services Framework (process com.google.process.gapps) has stopped unexpectedly."
Basically the launcher is completely inaccessible, the phone remains perpetually in the settings screen because I suppose it's the only thing that it can load without the launcher. It also can't get a signal except for wi-fi, "Mobile Networks" in the settings remains unchecked, and it can't be turned on. Hahaha pretty severe for a rather simple mod.
Here's a full step-by-step of exactly what I did:
Wipe User Data, Wipe Cache
Install virtuous v0.7.0, then v0.7.4 from zip
Remain in Recovery
Open command prompt Change directory to ADB (c:\AndroidSDK\tools)
Entered the following codes one at a time:
- adb shell mount /system (mounts)
- adb shell rm /system/framework/services.jar (file removed)
- adb shell rm /system/framework/framework-res.apk (file removed)
- adb push C:\services.jar /system/framework (success 0.250s)
- adb push C:\framework-res.apk /system/framework (success 1.80s)
(I just have the files on C temporarily for the ease of it.)
Reboot
Then the errors hit once I unlock the screen.
Heheh, I can't really think of any other way to approach it. Hmmmm.
Any idea what I'd need to put back for video codecs? I'm running CM 6.1 but it doesn't run streaming videos from the NHL Gamecenter unlike the stock rom. I'm assuming its a codec issue and was wondering what I'd want to replace.

Weird, I have no idea why that won't work for you. Anyway, there is another way around it. Just open up your patch.zip (from 0.7.0 to 0.7.4), go to the framework folder, and remove the services.jar and framework-res.apk from it. Then go about the wipe/install of both zips like normal. That way the patch zip will no longer replace those two files. Anything that you don't want changed in a patch zip can just removed from it.

Sorry cant help on that one, I haven't run a CM rom since like 1 or 2.0 haha. You may try to see if others are having that problem, or if it is a known issue with the 6.1 and streaming videos. Is it only that site? Maybe a flash player version problem?

Yea, I assumed it would be out-dated soon anyway, as changes are made to your roms. I'll adjust it to keep up if the need is there though. It was just a couple of the more simple alterations that I made, and after seeing so many people cluttering up your thread with posts about them, I decided to post this.
Mostly, though, I just wanted to remind people that many simple issues/personal needs (like an app being removed from a rom, or a small change to one or two apps) can be solved with a little bit of thought and some adb knowledge - both of which should be present if you are working with a rooted phone in the first place!

Do you know if there is anyone to return the power down message. I remember before there being and option to restart the phone, hibernate, power off, or reboot into recovery. I liked having that. Is there anyway to return this feature?

This would really be AWESOME!!
Black on White!
Black on Cyan!
Black on any other color you like!
I've attached the black contacts and black mms that I copied to the 4.0.4 files. There is a thread here with the 4.0.3 versions and several variations. Since searching is disabled right now, I can't find it. All credit goes to that person (wish I could remember who...). It also changes the generic contact picture to the android guy and not the stick figure. The contacts is all black and the only 'bug' I've found is when adding someone as a favorite. The little star in the top right corner of the contact does not show up until you select it (so if you want to add a favorite, just push there and then you'll have the star). The black mms I uploaded has white text and cyan date. These are for deodexed ROMs.
If you have an odexed rom, just pull the apk from the .zip, open the apk with an archive manager, delete classes.dex from the .apk, and put that .apk back into the original .zip replacing the version with the .dex file present.
As always, back up your current versions...though they work fine on my phone . I don't have my phone handy, so no screen shots for now (was hoping to just link to the original creator's thread...).
EDIT - Ok, I guess google search made it fairly easy to find the thread. It was created by nbeebe24 and the thread with screenshots is here. The Mms version attached to this post is "Blue & White Text w/Grey Timestamp". Contacts also just has the plain black background instead of the one with the androids.
thanks will try now.

It's probably a conflict with something on your phone. It work's perfectly on my own 4.0.4 deodex'ed ROM that I made. I didn't use the .zip to install it and just adb pushed it. You could try that. After looking at the template .zip I used, it may use a pre-4.0.3 method of mounting /system in the updater script. I'll remake them and re-post them. I still don't think that would destroy your phone function. I'd think more stuff involving in-call things would be part of Phone.apk.

I'm pretty sure the link by nbeebe24 is based on 4.0.3 versions. That's why I moved the relevant changes to the 4.0.4 mms/contacts apk's. I haven't compared to see/understand the differences, but those files were patched in the 4.0.4 update. I guess it's good to know that the 4.0.3 versions are working ok on your 4.0.4 ROM.

How do you 'install' the ZIP? Copy to SD card -> recovery -> Install .zip?
Or is there some other special way?
If you're using ADB, then to install all you have to do is:
adb push 4.0.4-BlackContacts_deodexed.zip
adb push 4.0.4-BlackMms_deodexed.zip
??? I think???
Basically I have no idea how to install these zip files haha.
it would be adb install and then the filename
adb install *filename*.apk
you can push it if you want you just have to tell it where to push to.
adb push *filename*.apk /data/app
adb install puts it in the same spot
edit: you have to pull the apks out of the zip files if you're gonna use adb

So all you need is the .apk files then? I didn't really quite understand why it's packaged with all those files in the .zip then...
Featured on XDA Portal Thanks guys!
Also, thanks to zhuhang for including this in his CM7 ICS / Jelly bean look and All in One ICS patch thread
UPDATE: You can now choose between ICS blue/ white style colours or the default green/ red colours for the lock rings, etc., I have attached different the applicable zips ("Lockscreen Icons ICS Blue.zip" and "Lockscreen Icons Default.zip")
Hi XDA
This is my first attempt at doing some DIY themeing, this is very simple and did not take very long to do. Before I say anything else, bear in mind you must have root, and I am not responsible if your device is bricked, set alight or abducted by aliens due to this tutorial.
Screenshots are attached
On the G1, by installing CM7 it is possible to end up with a very nice ICS looking UI. You can do this through applying AChep's ICS theme, installing the Roboto font from ICS using an app such as Type Fresh from Pixelpod INTERNATIONAL and finally from finding ports of actual ICS apps, such as Holo Launcher by Mobint.
There is one problem though, which is that the lock screen is untouchable by themes such as Sonny Sekhon's.
And so we realize that we must theme it ourselves!
The actual lockscreen itself shouldn't be a problem, as CM7 has the option to use a holo style lock ring and to be set to "minimal", and once you have installed the ICS clock font for Clockopia (note that this isn't Roboto) found here (it's in the FontPack-Roboto_E2.zip file), you have a pretty clean looking ICS lock screen (See first attachment). Note I have also set the clock, etc. to be on the right side of the screen.
Now that that's done, onto the pattern lock  .
So, I don't particularly like the Gingerbread pattern lock anyway, and it looks especially horrible when everything around it is nice and ICS-y.
I found a page here which is a tutorial on how to change the look of the pattern lock, but the icons are the wrong colour and the wrong size, and some icons are missing.
For that reason, I've done the "hard" work for you  , so on to the tutorial ---->
Firstly, make a nandroid backup, although there shouldn't be much risk involved with this.
The apps you will need are Ninjamorph and to make things easy, a good file explorer, I personally use Ghost Commander.
You are now ready! The steps are as follows...
1. Open up Ninjamorph, grant SU permissions. I think you need to select "Start Checks" first.
2. Select "New Project", and locate framework-res.apk, it will be under /system/framework/ .
3. Although it backs up automatically, enter your file browser, go to /mnt/sdcard/AndroidThemes/workspace/framework-resapk/res/drawable-mdpi and copy the following files to a safe location on your sdcard:
btn_code_lock_default.png
btn_code_lock_touched.png
indicator_code_lock_drag_direction_green_up.png
indicator_code_lock_drag_direction_red_up.png
indicator_code_lock_point_area_default.png
indicator_code_lock_point_area_green.png
indicator_code_lock_point_area_red.png
ic_emergency.png
4. I have attached a zip file named "Lockscreen Icons.zip", in here you will find the icons to theme the pattern lock.
5. Unzip "Lockscreen Icons.zip", then copy the contents to /mnt/sdcard/AndroidThemes/workspace/framework-resapk/res/drawable-mdpi . Notice that the icon names are the same as the ones you backed up, and also the same size. If you feel the need to edit them, do not change the name or size and do not save them as anything other than png files.
6. Open up Ninjamorph and select "Start Checks" as usual (you may need to locate back to the main screen first).
7. Select "Finish Project", then select "framework-resapk".
8. It will ask you to verify, to which you say yes, then ask if you want to zipalign, to which you will say no, I repeat: Do NOT zipalign.
9. Blah blah blah, it will do it's thing, extract and recompile the apk.
10. Now you've just got to reboot! , then admire you're ICS style pattern lock .
I've attached some screenshots of the results, the first 3 are blue/ white theme (no interaction, interaction, wrong pattern) then default green/ red theme (no interaction, wrong pattern, interaction). Note that I have swapped btn_code_lock_default.png and btn_code_lock_touched.png as they were the wrong way round. It is too difficult to get a screenshot, but when the corretc pattern is drawn the small rings/ nodes open up (become "o"s instead of filled in circles) again.
I hope this has helped, please thank me if it has and happy theming .
Media icons + emergency call icon
All screenshots attached at bottom and also in zip file.
I have now extracted the media icons (play, pause, etc.) from the CyanogenMod 9 framework-res.apk and put together this guide so you can make your G1 even more good looking. I have done this as, although CM7 themes do change media icons, as previously mentioned, the lockscreen is not effected
but no worries :victory: just read on --->
1. Read the above tutorial so you have everything you need, etc.
2. Once you have gotten up to step 2, stop reading and follow this insead --->
3. Enter your file browser, go to /mnt/sdcard/AndroidThemes/workspace/framework-resapk/res/drawable-mdpi and copy the following files to a safe location on your sd card:
ic_media_ff.png
ic_media_next.png
ic_media_pause.png
ic_media_play.png
ic_media_previous.png
ic_media_rew.png
4. I have attached a zip file named "Media Icons.zip", in here you will find the icons to theme the media icons.
5. Unzip "Media Icons.zip", then copy the contents to /mnt/sdcard/AndroidThemes/workspace/framework-resapk/res/drawable-mdpi . Notice that the icon names are the same as the ones you backed up, and also the same size (as in image size (width, etc.), not file size).
I have also attached "Emergency Call Icons.zip", this themes the emergency call button (transparent background, grey call icon and blue on press). Do the same as above with btn_default_pressed.9.png, btn_default_transparent_normal.9.png and ic_emergency.png .
I will attach some screenshots later. Hope you like it , if you do, thank me and happy theming. :good:

Yeah, forgot to say, but obviously anyone feel free to make this better / resize for another device , This isn't all my original work as half the icons are resized and recoloured from another device.

Can someone resize the icons for the Galaxy S II T989 PLEASE?
The Dots are to small for my phone can someone teach me to rezsize or do it for me Please?
-Thanks
Found Out how to make them Bigger
USe this online editing tool h_tt_p://_pixlr.c_o_m/editor/ Without underscores , It wouldnt let me post the link...
Any who just use the lockscreen download which is provided in this thread, and open up the link...Locate the folder and one by one in the editing tool, go under IMAGINE and under imagine click on Imagine size to 120Pixels or what ever you like for every picture EXCEPT these two "indicator_code_lock_drag_direction_green_up" & "indicator_code_lock_drag_direction_red_up" I Did these for my Galaxy S II T989 using NinjaMorph...
Sorry for Double posting
I was looking for a guide like this, because I don't like the pattern lock of cm7 the dots are overlapped, etc. But I follow your steps and all, and after ninjamorph rebooted my phone, it went onto a bootloop. Why? What did I do wrong? Luckily, I made a backup before doing this, but I wonder why I can't have the ICS pattern style...

hmm... Did you make sure Ninjamorph had fully finished (there should be a message saying "all done" and if it worked your wallpaper would have reset before a reboot). You say ninjamorph rebooted your phone - do you actually mean this, as it should tell you to reboot, but should not reboot for you; if it froze and rebooted, that means something didn't. work .
I can't remember if there are hdpi etc. folders but also make sure you're sticking everything into the drawable-mdpi folder and that you're replacing files as opposed to just making copies (filename.png, filename-1.png etc.).
The only other thing I can think of is that I've made a typo (unlikely as obviously I tested these myself first) or your framework-res is weird (I practicaly pulled that idea out my ar*e - I highly doubt this is the case). I think all you can do is tell me what rom you're on and which theme (blue or green) you used..... it would help alot if you could PM me your unthemed framework-res.apk if at all possible.
I hoped this helps and sorry for the late reply, but if all goes well you might want to check out post 2: I've got stuff for media icons + emergency call button
One last thought... I've been assuming you're trying this on a g1... if not then the sizing is probably incorrect (sorry, just checking )

Thanks for your reply, I'm not using a G1 I tried this on a Live with Walkman, but for what I know I think it's the same resolution, (320x480) and I followed every step in order, I even tried replacing files with the ninjamorph app, and with the root explorer too, but nothing seems to work, when my phone reboots it always goes into a bootloop, is it possible for you to upload the framework-res.apk? If you need mine I can upload it, just tell me, I'm using CM7.2 official rom, with the default kernel that comes with the rom. I don't know where did I go wrong. :/
