I think there is no Original (T-Mobile Stock) ROM for T-Mobile Mda Compact IV US ENG. Try using some other ROM, like WWE or UK version.
The latest version of these ROMs is 1.93.XX and (2.03 or above doesn't exists yet for MDA Compact IV), so it is far from perfect (I know because I have used it for long time). Even if you decide to use it, it will be very hard to find this version, because it is not in T-Mobiles site. So you must be happy with version 1.37 (which is even older and worse than 1.93).
If you decide to use stock HTC Touch Diamond ROM, you will not be able to flash it. You will get an error of invalid model ID).
So my advice is: Cook your own ROM (with 6.1 or 6.5) or try one of the already cooked ROMs in this forum. If you want to cook your own ROM, try lobsterdave's post (it is very easy). If you think you can't do it, try anryl's ROMs.

I have a MDA Compact II but i don't like the T-mobile branding. I kow that you can debrand it with hardreset and a softrest, but i would like to have the original HTC Charmer Rom without any branding! Have you any idea where i can get these? It should be german and with the new aku 2.3.

There was a debranded ROM on the forums however this did not have AKU 2 as it was based on the original version of the ROM. I haven't seen a new version of this.
There is no official debranded ROM as the charmer was only released by T-Mobile and not by anyone such as imate or qtek.

Can owners of the MDA Compact IV please report back, if its normal that the Tricolor screen states DIAM200 ? Wouldn't 300 be normal. I have a german version of the MDA C 4.

I've got the UK version and it also states DIAM200.
I've got the Taiwan version and it also states DIAM200.
Anyone has DIAM200 ROM? I dont know cooked rom and others suitable for me?
no worries, there is:
DIAM100
DIAM140
DIAM200
DIAM300
I know DIAM300 is OK with the DIAM100 roms, as for 140, you need to flash that 1.25.xx (I forget) radio without region id protection then it can flash the DIAM100 roms fine. DIAM300 I hear was fine too.
DIAM200 people, do a rom backup first before trying the roms. then report here if it is all OK.
Several roms flashed here with DIAM200. With my old Trinity it just refered to the different housing/design of the phone. Same here maybe?

My Dutch MDA Compact IV also says it 's a DIAM200.
Flashed it without any problems, using HardSPL 1.24.

Jones23: I have a German MDA Compact IV as well which identifies itself as DIAM200 so I suppose that's normal.
Everyone & dtosun: you don't need a specific ROM for your devices, you can tweak existing stock roms to work with your DIAM-ID. See my guide:

What must I do to flash the original HTC Rom on my T-Mobile MDA Compact?
Must I only change the HardSPL befor flashing the new ROM?
What is the right HardSPL for me?
Must it be a signed HardSPL?

So, my MDA is now:
HardSPL 1.40 OliNex.
Radio 1.00.25.05
But always:
DIAM 200
and
ROM 1.37.111.3 T-Mobile Germany showen as 1.37.000.0 at startup
But I will flash this:
RUU_Diamond_HTC_GER_1.93.407.1....
What must i do ?
How to Change DIAM200 to DIAMXXX ?
Or, where can i get a unsigned GERMAN!!! 1.93.407.1.nhb ?

Issue of T-Mobile MDA Compact IV WWE/English ROM was discussed few times. You may find in this forum some threads on it.
But unfortunatelly, T-Mobile do not provide for download 1.93 ROM, either T-Mobile MDA Compact IV doesn't presented at their oficial www:
