I just wanna espress my feelings. I realize there are more Manila Blue roms than Black ones in this forum.
Why not make more black roms, because is my favorite colour.
What do you think?
agreed. seems like more universial, dont have to matter on yr device is in black or white housing.
guess the m2d oem is in blue so alot of cookers dun bother to change the color as you can u m2d config to change the theme, but i like it more if its ready once flash
the only usable rom i find is by zoko so far for trinity, black, htc & official microsoft mobile customization, no fancy color or icons. just like official from htc. that the idea.
for some reason that i dunno why its posting double at times.
I´m using the finix 3.7.2 m2d rom.
It's my favorite. It's black and it's very fast and stable.
What happen to the cookers? There are a lot of manila black themes that can be build in the roms.

After many people asked me to make ROMs with HTC black skins, I would like to know your preference and if most of you agree I will make some graphical changes in the next releases. Of course I will let by default my purple theme, this is my trademark and there is no way to remove it!

Go for it, bro ... I love black, but that's just the color anyway, i prefer to look for "what new" in that black or other color . I very impressive with all your work before and i look for something "new" in your next release (i hope not just "that black") IMHO.

I've installed the Orange (Provider) TouchFLO Theme on my Diamond with the draggable analog clock. But it's not that complete as i hoped, especially the Taskbars are black instead of inverted like on the attached pic!
Does anyone have the original UK ORANGE ROM?

mine and a lot of others came from orange with the
normal htc black theme on them.
orange uk had problems with there theme so i heard.
OK, but i've already seen screens of a english version of the orange rom. Has anybody have an idea how to get this rom?

Is there ANY English Version of the Orange TouchFLO ROM?
Im beginning to ask myself the question of why you would want such an ugly TF3D on your phone.
When i signed up for the orange version of the Diamond, i was hoping and praying that it was HTC original which it seems to be, but i have just enquired to Orange about the possibility of a 1.93 update, and the programmers who called me back said there is one coming, but no release date at the moment.
I assume by their comments that the update will include the TF3D version that they had problems with in the 1.37 original rom. So if you really want it bad enough, then wait for that 1.93 update.
The skin of the taskbar is from the .tsk Today theme. So you may not need a complete ROM change but just the tsk file.

Have you got an idea WHERE i can get a tsk file that is white / grey like on the pic AND is inverting the Icons on it!
go into your settings and click on today icon.
check if any of the availble themes are orange tsk
as you might have to change it seperately.
worth a try anyway.
if not get a french rom from here and extract tsk theme file and
manilla icon files.
Been searching for that for a long long time.. Couldn't find it.. Only with a styling software, but that will not invert the icons. I think I tried some SPB software (or Wisbar Advance), but it became ugly and icon colours were still white. RC Mod is also a program to edit the bar colors, but it has limited color selection.

I have installed this theme from the provided link,,,,but i am not getting that white top and bottom bar....
can someone please provide me solution?????
This was my problem too, ... i think no way, exept someone can extract it from the Orange-ROM?!

Are the top and bottom bars part of the Windows theme? If I go into Start > Settings > Personal > Today and select the Windows Green theme then go back to my home screen the bottom and top bars are green with touchflo showing as normal HTC theme. Surely you just need to install a theme with silver bars and use that as the windows theme along with your orange touchflo theme?
I've never seen a single silver theme for wm6, all you can get is a dark grey taskbar.
has anyone come up with a new theme or background for nfsfans 6.5 touchflo today screen? i actually prefered the old screen (v13 and previous). i've actually considered re-flashng back to v13 just to have the plain black today screen, versus the little colored lights.
if someone or someones would post pics of their themes (with links where they got them, or in the case of those who developed their own, post them) it would be much appreciated.

These will set a black theme for you. I have made a new transparent theme for TMZ, but the new version of Manilla (V2.0 1919) has a new clock and weather on the home page changing things again. I plan to patch my themes to work with the newest version and re-release them.
Want > Rom with Sense, Wm 6.5 and basic icons, like touch3d, neon or black and white
Basically what title says, a rom with basic icons like original, can be colored, but not like the detailed ones of sense, but i want it to be sense. (just don't like its icons) and wm 6.5
If you would have basically used the excellent search function of this forum you would have found this package that will reverse your (tab) icons to the original Diamond ones (-> make back up first and the overwrite in windows folder).
For the ROM, there are a few WM6.5/Sense 2.5 ones over here, you just have to read the corresponding topics and try them, cuz what fits you best can only you decide.
Personally i use the Donsalari V4.

One of the things I like about the Touch HD is the Black case and buttons, I'm quite a minimalist at heart. I installed Max Manila to reduce the number of buttons and icons on the screen and have installed the Black Metal top line icons.
However in peoples opinion which is the best black and white theme? If you could include screenshots or a link to a thread I'd be grateful.

shame developement has been stopped. someone else has taken over the project and has made some changes but the original is my favourite. there arent really any problems with it in its current state
Sorry I should have been clearer, GTX is a really nice theme but it's too white. If there was an inverted version of it I would have been very close!!
what about just plain old manila 2/2.1 or even the stock version?
