I'm using Dutty's 3.3 and I wanted to add my favourite apps to the new Manila Startmenu.
BUT, some of the Icons I add aren't that beatiful, so I wanted to ask you if someone knows a possibility to change this icons.

Yes you can!
HKLM\Software\HTC\Manilla\ProgramLauncher\
each number is one program!
you have to put the icon in you ppc first (normal xp .ico works great!)
it works even if you put the program tab back to manilla.

i recently switched to wm6.5 (miri).
Now i want to use customized backrounds for my HD -> those from "Lost in Asia ROM".
As I want to use a different bg for landscape and portarit - I think I have to use a Theme do I?
So I tried to genarate one with ThemeGenCE.
MS Theme Gen doesnt support new WVGA themes...
But When I use my generated them it didn't set the pictures.. and it messes up the new "WM6.5 Lockscreen" completely.
I also tried to modify an existing theme (renaming to zip) and replace the pictures inside (skwater 001 and 002) and repack but it didn't work either... same as above.
Anyone knows how generate a working WM6.5 Theme?
I would also help just to know the REG-Key or where to place my bg files to set this up.

To be honest I'm not sure what you actualy want? When you say theme do you also mean different colour theme for Portrait and Landscape? not sure if this is possible?
However if you are refering to having different background of your choice for Portrait and Landscape then you can simply rename any .jpeg picture of your choice to stwater_480_800.jpg (Portrait) and stwater_800_480.jpg (Landscape) then simply copy them over to windows folder using resco file explorer or total commander! if you already know this then I'm sorry I could not help you on this occasion!

I know its not possible to have different colorschemes for Port. & Land.
By theme, I meant the *.TSK Files which one could create for WM. They contain the Pictures for Port. & Land. + the colorscheme information.
As I described above I didn't get it managed to create such a file working on WM6.5 using a theme generator- worked on 6.1 - but messes up the new WM6.5 Lockscreen
So the question for a working WM6.5 theme generator is still open but not that important to me now.

Hi there guys... I've been searching for so long and never found any cabs that you will just install to customize Icons for Manila programs icons and start menu icons... And also customized folder icons for WM 6.5
Looking forward to it and it would surely make our HD more nice and beautiful.

Hi jaypeev, what folders do you plan to have them installed? you mean to h ave something like multimedia, connection, gps, etc in programs?
^ Hi m6silver... I was pertaining to customizing manila program icons. I want to customize it because I hate the low quality icons in Manila "Program". Would be nice if there is already a cab to change it instantly not to do it 1 by 1.
Do you have a cab file just for your customized folder without taskbar icons? I like your folder icons. It looks great!

Oh i know nothing about manila files now so soory can't help you with that. For Windows folders I'm working on it now but might need help from all the master here

I use a WM 6.5 rom. But I don't like titanium therefore I use Manila.
I want to set the same wallpaper to manila like my wm theme. Because I looks much better when I open the start menu and there is the same wallpaper
Did anybody now how to extract the wallpaper of an wm 6.5 theme?

Not sure, but if you post a screenshot of the picture perhaps others may have a standalone version of the picture.
You can either use WinCE Cab manager to extract the .tsk, or check in your windows folder for something like stwater.jpg or stwater_640_480.jpg.

So the thing is.. i have WM 6.5 now, but its all laggy and stuff, so i figured out that I'll install Touch-IT rom.. well.. but there are those standard white icons, as far as i can see on the screens.
On my WM 6.5 i have a good looking ones, i would like to extract them and later change in my 6.1 but i dunno where should i look for them.. some dll file probable ?
Start button icon location would be nice too. ^^
EDIT: BTW, is it possible to enable BOTH battery icon and clock?

there are taskbar icons on the forum like:
SEX1cons "Q" series taskbar icons
or SEX1cons "F" series taskbar icons
or AnX1 Tsowen Taskbar - SE Mods v1.3
or Brian's Taskbar
This last one i use! I've you wil search the forum for taskbar you will find many more!!
You can not have battery and clock in taskbar. if you are using the standard windows ui you can have battery in right down corner by using a tweak in registry. you also can use Advanced Configuration Tool v3.3 to show battery
