HTC Home on epix - Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking

These instructions helped me install HTC home, I've tried a lot of cabs and this one works perfect. This is for those who still like the look, hehe. The only problem is that HTC Home Customizer wont display properly, is there anything I could modify to make it work for a 320x320 screen?

Tab scrolling in HTC Home 2.1.1005722

Greetings-
I had been a Schap's 4.01 user, as it came out a day or so after I got my 8525. I recently upgraded to 4.22, and love it, but I have found what most people probably consider an enhancement is driving me nuts.
In 4.01, and thus the old HTC Home, the scroll wheel did not scroll through the HTC Home tabs. Now, in HTC Home 2.1.1005722, it does. This basically means I show my ringer settings (right most HTCH tab) at the top of my screen every time I scroll down to check my other today plugins, and it's kinda ruining a simply great ROM for me.
I mentioned this in the 4.22 thread, and said I'd check out HTC Home Customizer - it has a Lock HTC Home option, but it doesn't seem to fix my gripe either way when set. I figure that thread isn't getting much action now because of the 4.30 release, so I'd make my own thread, as this may affect others using HTC Home and being picky about their home layout.
Is there a registry key I'm missing that controls this, or a way to downgrade just HTC Home back to the version included in Schap's 4.01?
Thanks to the schapmeister and the forum gurus-

Hi, had same prob. but is strangly gone now.
Don't know the real fix (Also want it),
but I changed the order of the Tabs round
a few times and now it does not scroll anymore. (Yipee!!!! )
At the moment I have my Tabs set like this:
Home->Favorites->Launcher->Weather->Music
with NO scrolling, only touch screen.
Please PM me if you somehow find the REAL fix.
Hmm, I will keep trying it, but even this temp fix isn't getting me quite there.
There was one config i found that only scrolled through 2 tabs, but then i didnt like the order of them to touch

Today Screen Clock w/o indicators

Hi guys,
I was wondering if someone can purge out and post just the cab for their today screen clock programs. I had recently flashed to a rom based off of Binky11's 3.6 and i LOVED just having the clock because i use SPB pocket plus and SPB Phone Suite.
So now i just flashed to Binky11's 3.9 and find it very sleek and fast and stable. i uninstalled the rltoday thingy or whatever it was. i found that his today screen clock didnt work very well at all. i also uninstalled the X BUTTON app by HTC because SPB POCKET PLUS has WAY better capabilities including the ability to map a much larger range of tasks per button.. and EVERY button has a HOLD as well as a click function.
but anyway... clocks.. i just want to turn on my phone and see the time BIG AS DAY without any of the htc buttons or tabs or whatever indicators.. i have phone suite for that and it works way better.
This PDC one is very nice & has a cab on it's thread:

Oh My God That's It
ok thank you so much! that is the one i fell in love with..
thank you it's perfect!
pleas see attached zip file with a cab - SAMSUNG clock

HTC Home w/ Favorite People?

How can I get HTC Home to show the Favorite People tab?
I have tried using the HTC Home Customizer and the tab will not show up on the Today screen?
thx
Hello again. You probably do not have the fav people tab. I didn't have it on my device as well. I found a new version of HTC home that had it and installed that one on my elf. Worked fine however; if you loose your backlight function with it, there is a fix available for that as well. Don't freak out. My device was completely black after installing the new HTC Home until I pluged it in. Once it was pluged in I was able to find my way around the device and turn up the back light. then install the backlight fix so that you can use the backlight shortcut as it might also not work.
Edit: I believe this is the one I used - Includes the backlight fix. Follow this link.

You have to check the box in the plugin settings to have it display. (Start - Settings - today - etc... If you cannot see it in the settings, then you should be able to see it in HTC Home Customizer and check it off there. If you have HHC installed that is. If you don't you might want to check it out as well. (very cool), Also make sure that you are using the new plugin you just installed
Goto Emu's official site, there you can download the correct plugin.

link please
I couldn't find the links to where I found the plugins that worked for me so here are the plugins that worked for me. One is a newer one from Schen and the other one from n2a does not have the backlight fix so I included the backlight fix as well if you need it.
HTC Home Customizer is at this link

CRT screen fade out animation on Windows Mobile

Similar to the fade out effect apparently coming to Android 2.3 Gingerbread, we've cooked up something short and sweet in our own labs today. For lack of a better name, it's a screen fade out animation for your Windows Mobile device, and has been dubbed turnOffAnimation.
It's been tested on our HTC HD mini, and seems to perform fine. Watch the video above for a nice look, or download it here. Leave your feedback in the XDA Developers thread here.
Instructions
Copy the cab file to your device, and install it. If wanted, set one of your hardware buttons to the program. Note that this will not replace your power button's action, so it should be fairly safe.
Please do not direct link to the CAB file, link to this page instead:

funny stuff indeed, thx

after turning off the screen, when I turn back on, it show latest sreen in few miliseconds then show the lockscreen...
