I think this is not an AKU2/MSFP image. It seems to be Build 14409. Although it's newer than the RTM Magneto release, it's not what we're wating for. AKU2 should have Build 14847.

T-MOBILE UPDATE DECEMBER 2005

Hi,
i just surfed around the t-mobile web-page and i saw the december update. (don´t know why, but i wasn´t there for a longer time).
From the pdf-documentation it seems, that the update contains the following versions:
Win CE: 1.20.34
ExtRom: 1.20.118
Radio: 1.06.00
Are there any known problems or is it safe to upgrade ? Right now i have the qtek-rom installed .. which one is better ?

It's probably presently the most advanced, stable and fastest ROM. I use ist since about 3 weeks w/o any problem and can really recommend it.
Had QTEK, O2 and i-mate before. Of these, QTEK was the most performant until the new TMo ROM came up.

i've asked the t-mobile netherlands helpdesk if it will also be available in a dutch version, but haven't heard back yet.
I'm affraid to try it, because i once flashed my MDAII with a german version, and then the language was changed also.
Can anyone confirm if we can use this file on english devices?
(I've got a dutch t-mobile mda pro, but i think that any WWE version would work then)

Probleme mit MDA Pro
Ich habe seit dem Update nur Probleme. Das gerät läuft instabiler, langsamer und hängt immer wieder fest. Das schlimmste ist, dass es oft anrufe einfach nicht signalisert. Ich rufe an... es ist frei.. doch der MDA Pro macht absolut nix...
Seit dem Update ist er für mich absolut wertlos geworden, da ich fast jeden Anruf verpasse und er absolut nicht mehr zuverlässig funktioniert.
Außerdem sind alle alten Fehler immer noch da.

endlich wieder ein deutsches rom, schon irgendwelche bugs bekannt die dafür zu sprechen es zuflashen oder noch nicht? welcher dialer wird benutzt? ist es möglich dass du in einer version wktask weg lässt?^^
finally a new german rom, are there any bugs which give you a reason to don't flash it? which dialer are you using? is it possible to exclude wktask

Comm-Manager funzt nicht (keine Softkeys)

Dialer ist der normale WM-Dialer, mit versetzter Hörergrafik nach links, bei grüner Anrufen-Taste

ich würde den x button bevorzugen.. oder einfach gar keinen und zu beiden die cab's posten dass man auswählen kann
i would prefer the x button, or you don't include any of them and just posting here the .cab's that everyone can choose

[removed] XPERIA R3A Camera with AutoFlash & GeoTag: CAB installer

Some people like me don't want to flash a new ROM but want all of the latest SE's R3A ROM goodies into our Xperias
I prepared a CAB that will install the newest Sony Ericsson Xperia R3A Camera software to the phone. I have tested it on NAM/UK R2A ROM and works OK !!
UPGRADES:
This is what you get over the current R2A camera software:
Auto Flash option
GeoTagging
CAB FIXED 01 APR 09, NOW FOR NON-ENGLISH DEVICES TOO
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Downlaod link down
IMPORTANT: FOR NON-ENGLISH USERS, HOW TO MAKE IT WORK:
This is the WWEnglish (0409) camera software, but it can be easily adapted:
- Install the CAB
- Go to /progam files/XperiaCamera/Languages/
- Delete (or rename or move) the old Camera0---.dll
- Take note of the 0--- portion: that's your country/language code
- Rename the new Camera0409.dll to your language code
(eg.: for spanish -> Camera0c0a.dll - Full list of country/language codes in post 19, page 2)

Can people test their GeoTagging to see if it's correct for them.
I'm finding mine is getting East confused with West, and putting my photos in the North Sea.

Just wondering if those on the East are getting West values instead, or we are both getting East (could even be a North/South bug in there)

May be a stupid question, but how can I exactly see, if the new camera-app actually runs? I don't see any change (same with the new panel-manager). Is it possible that I have to change some reg-keys in my German ROM (had to do this with the Growing Panel)? Please help me out of this misery

Doesn't seem to work on my X1a as well. Dutch Vodafone R2A.

My "Xperiance" with the new camera software:
1- yes there's a 0409 DLL in the /program files/XperiaCamera/ folder, try renaming the new one (for spanish is 0c0a) to your country/ language (I posted a full languages codes list on the Youtube app thread)
2- for geotagging, I first updated quickgps, then got a full sat fix with google, and then I tested the camera

Oh yes I tested it on X1a and it works
This is the WWENGLISH version, as I stated before, I have tested it over UK ROM (WWE X1i) and NAM ROM (WWE X1a)

That R3A version seems can't disable shutter sound??

in a different thread someone said to change the shutter sound file name in the camera folder, that makes no sound when u take pic

I stand corrected. If you change to filename to reflect your country code, it does work.
Auto flash is listed as "Not available" tho. But the geotagging works. So thnx

ha ich habs gerade installiert^^
beim klick auf die kamera taste startet die anwendung in /programme/XperiaCamera/...lösch einfach den ordner und guck auf dien handy, weil du dann auch Programm Files/XperiaCamera haben wirst...kopiere diesen in den ordner Programme und dann wird immer diese anwendung gestartet^^...ist leider englisch, obwohl man die eine dll datei in 407 ändert^^

Please remember this is a english forum, many users can't read german !!
I only had access to the english files (Ich weiss !! es tut mir leid...) I am looking for the spanish files too
And yes again the whole foder can be copied manually
The CAB was meant to make things easier for all of us, but it has the stck english files only... I will update the first post with the country/language codes list
The original german camera407.DLL should be deleted manually and then the new camera409.DLL should be renamed to 407 (german)

There is a way, you just need to edit the registry.
