Extended Battery for Cavalier (Pictures of it on?) - HTC Cavalier

Hey question,
So I just ordered a new 2250 Mah extended battery for my cavalier (This one: http://www.amazon.com/2250mAh-Extended-Battery-Cavalier-SoftBank/dp/B001A8SP9E )
I'm pretty sure its gonna be kinda ugly (gotta do what you gotta do), but I wanted to know if any of you guys have any pictures of your phone with the extended battery and cover actually on. Wanted to see how ugly it really looks while its actually on the phone.
Thanks for the help guys!

From what I've heard it should fit just fine, extended batteries like 200-220 mAh come with a larger replacement battery cover for the phone.

No need to be sorry. What happened was I had ordered a standard battery but what I recieved was the slim extended one, which worked out for me because I was gonna purchase that one anyway if the standard battery didnt work. Besides that, it works great . Its a big difference from how my phone to and how it is now.... I'll post the link up when i get back.

thanks for the website's name 5t341th, here's the link http://www.seidioonline.com/category-s/42.htm
I'm surely gonna be purchasing one of these the moment mine hits the crapper.
why would get you get that one roloracer? the one in amazon is a lot cheaper and is a 15550 AM
I think (maybe) because he likes keeping the original thickness of the Dash (Excalibur). The Amazon one you spec'd will be thicker and require the supplied modified battery cover; at least judging from the description.

Aussiedog's right, I don't want to make the phone any thicker. I have a rubberized black hard case over my phone that I like a lot and I wouldn't be able to use it any more if I were to fatten my phone. I'm not saying the amazon battery isn't a good deal but , I would prefer an extended battery that would fit in the regular back cover.

I found a 1050mAh battery on ebay that sold with a car and home charger for about $10 with free postage. I had to ask them how much output it had - it's not included in their description. It's available from ebay member everydaysource - search for 'BUNDLE For HTC T-Mobile Dash Battery+Home+Car Charger‏'.
It works great. When it goes out, I'll probably get one of the Seidioonline batteries: an Innocell 1300 Extended Life Battery from seidioonline.com for 39.95. They claim 35% more power, but it's probably more like 15-20% more power. You can use your standard Dash back cover. They also have a great black rubberized plastic cover for about $6.
I'm definatly gonna buy one of these 1300 maH battery i use my phone for wifi all day, skype.. and web an emails but i get about 6 630mins straight wifi and emails etc so this 1300 should be able to pull off a decent calling time and wifi at night for a few good hours if if u choose, great upgrade, cant wait to get this thanks for info about this battery.
Microsoft branded S621 6.0 microsoft shipped upgraded to 6.1 standard.

2200 maH battery
I know this post is old but
just in case you can now get 2200 maH battery s620 with back case
in my case i found out to late as i just got 1550 mAh one.

Is there a case that will fit the Excalibur with extended battery?

Hey all,
I was given an Excalibur with a buggered screen from a mate, so I replaced that and it's working nicely (especially with the 3VO ROM, which is bloody fantastic!). The battery is knackered, so I will be replacing it with the extended 2200mAh version that comes with the larger cover. So, I'd also like a case for this phone to protect it whilst I'm out and about (It will go with me on my motorcycle so I really need to protect it!).
So, do any of you wonderful folk know of a case that will accommodate the Excalibur with it's extended battery, or should I settle for one of those 'sock' style ones with a drawstring? I'd really like something that I can keep the phone in all the time, even whilst I use it.
Cheers!
Neil.

Video Review: Mugen Power 3200 mah Extended Battery!!!

Hi Guys,
Got my hands on the Mugen Power 3200 mah extended battery, it is FANTASTIC. The replacement cover does a great job at keeping the same texture of the original back cover. It adds some thickness but still feels natural and comfortable in your hand. Performance wise, it is great as well, some users could get 2+ days out of it easily. Full review below:
sorry, but these extended battery look ugly! and only half a day extra battery life, no way worth it!

I consider myself a very heavy user (as bad as that may seem) so whilst out of my house, apart from when I'm driving, I'll be on my phone. Half a day of added battery is great for me and works fine, I'm sure a medium user would get 2 days easily and a light user close to 3 days.
It depends what kind of user you are, light users probably wouldn't pick one up unless they were going out camping for a weekend or something.
keep it up mate thank you once again for the work
thanks guy , you just rocks ! but 100$ .. ugh !

Thanks, but yeah the price point is something they have to work on - i'd see it fit if it retailed for 50-60$

Apart from myself, I know NZtechfreak posted on a review on the Clove.co.uk Blog and you can find another review on YouTube (although in Italian).
As far as I know, the general public seems to favor the performance on the battery.

Thanks for posting the review. I think it'll be a very valuable accessory for travelling purposes. Of course the thickness of the phone increases after installing the extended battery, but are you aware of any car mounts that will work with a SGS 2 with the Mugen battery?

Hi, you're very welcome.
I'm pretty sure that something similar to this should do the job:
http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/trailblazer-advanced-pro-universal-car-charger-and-holder-p27266.htm
Universal car holders should fit the Galaxy S2 with the Mugen as they've been around for awhile now, when phones used to be much bulkier.

Extra space under battery cover - is that normal?

Hi all,
I just scored a used Galaxy Nexus, Sprint version, on eBay. It seems to be in good working condition, however the battery cover is not flush against the battery. There's actually enough space there that when I shake the phone, the battery shifts up and down in its housing, clicking against the cover. Is this normal with this model, or should I quickly take advantage of the 14 day return period?
Definitely return. NOT normal.
I would GUESS you have a standard battery with a cover for an extended battery
After Googling around a bit and looking at photos of batteries, it looks like my battery may have been switched in from a different Samsung phone, possibly a Galaxy S II. I suppose I could order a Galaxy Nexus battery and hope for the best, but I think I'm going with the return option. Better luck next time, I guess.
Pics of this? I didn't know gs2 batteries fit

On further examination, I think you're right. Someone helpfully posted a serious of comparison photos on the Amazon listing for the Verizon extended battery/cover combo, and the extended cover looks pretty much like mine. Now the question is do I return the phone (since standard covers don't seem to be available anywhere), or suck it up and buy a bigger (heavier) battery for this one?

Personally, I use both the stock and extended Verizon battery, but I only keep the cover of the extended battery on me. Not once have I had an issue with the smaller battery shifting out of place. I'd say you keep it if there isn't anything wrong with the phone and even ask the seller if they happen to have the stock cover lying around anywhere.

If indeed you have the stock battery with the extended cover and don't wish to buy anything extra (although i would recommend getting the extended battery for longevity reasons aswell as fit) you could opt for the primitive fix: tape a piece of paper to the inside of the cover to hold it tighter.

[Q] Extended battery with quick circle

Hello guys,
2 months ago I bought the G3, after 3 weeks I returned it (because of the battery) and took an S5. I tested it for 3 more weeks and decided to return it as well because I was only thinking about the G3.
All good and nice until now: I decided what phone to buy and keep. I told myself I would buy an extended battery to solve the SOT problem. This is were my problem begin...I really love the quick circle case for G3, but I can't find one that works with an extended battery.
Does anyone knows any case or solution for using a quick circle case and an extended battery?
Thank you for all the answers.
There really isn't an option. All the decent extended batteries for the G3 are thicker and come with a bigger back cover or full case. None of them offer a quick circle case option.
I was afraid of this answer, but I was really hoping to be a way I can enjoy both options.
