Order of the Devices in the forenlist - About xda-developers.com

Hello,
what do you think about a re-order of the devices in the forenlist? the newer htc devices are all at the end of the list and we have to scroll a lot? Maybe ist is possible to reorder it to the top of the list?

I agree...better yet have user be able to decide which phones/devices appear when they are logged on.

This has been asked several times before...
First devies goes up and newer goes down, imagine changing the way it has been for years!
No way!, I like it just like it is now
Just my opinion,

While most people think reordering is a good idea. However I'm used to where everything is so please don't move it or you'll make me mad, along with a lot of other "ole timers."
This has been posted before.

And believe me guys...you donĀ“t want to see JimmyMcGee or any other "ole timer" mad

If you really want the page re-ordered (and you use Firefox), you can hide the stuff you don't want with a plug-in called GreaseMonkey. It does take a small amount of scripting on your part- but, hey, why should the admins do all the work?
Greasemonkey basically runs scripts on pages as they load, which makes it possible to customize the way you see (and interact) with other people's websites.
If you're too lazy to do that, CTRL+F will save you a bit of scrolling.

Xda Revamp?

has xda developers ever thought about some new themes or just a new look?? not thats its unsightly,its pretty nice to access and use, just wondering??
I'd be happy with something that was a bit more QVGA friendly, I find it somewhat cumbersome to navigate this site from my 8525 - maybe it's me... who knows
Actually I was thinking of both versions, but the pda version does load much quicker
My problem with the PDA Site is that everything on it is at least one day behind everything on the main site...
Maybe cutting out things like avatars, signature pictures, embedded tags like

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",

}
I see your point, and will back down.
I'm quite happy with it as it is, and the site loads fine on my prophet.
Hmm, as far as the PDA version is concerned, I can't speculate on that for I have never used it. I always browse XDA Dev in full view Opera Mini. Even then, I find that the layout of the forum is quite clean and manageable. I would not recommend any unnecessary changes. If it ain't broke don't fix it, but fix the broken stuff (haven't noticed any so far)

Req: Live scores app

Is it possible to create an application for livescore.com (or other sites) to see the live scores of soccer (or other sports) online? Iphone has an application of livescore.com and I think we windows mobile users can have it also. It looks like simple program which updates the information of the site. I am not a developer so I can not say if it is simple to develope or not, but i thought maybe Xda developers can make something like this?:

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
p.s. I know that there is footballmonitor application but it is not a simple application and i think that if it is an application like above, it will be much quicker to look at.
No one?
I've been hoping for something like this for a long time. Pocket Sports Center comes close, but it got to be a bit buggy for me at times.
But if something like this could be combined with pocket sports center, then it would be NICE.
It would be even nicer if it could be integrated to scroll across the lock screen.
That way you wouldn't have to always turn on the phone, go to the program, fire it up, etc.
Set it to check scores at certain times/intervals and scroll the info on the screen.
But I guess I'm asking for too much.
you dont need an app for it...just use link www.iphone.livescore.com save it as favourite and place on ur home screen shortcut and you have, same effect as in the app...

How To Make Your Multitasking A Lot Faster And More Convenient [needs root]

Like many of you, I love my S3. One thing I HATE is the multitasking implementation. Holding the home button for 2 seconds is tedious and slows down the experience of a blazing fast phone
I have managed to overcome the problem and thought I'd share it in case this issue was frustrating others too. Essentially, it allows you to tap the bottom right hand corner of the screen to bring the multitasking bar up. This can easily be done with one hand, and I find makes using the phone a lot faster
Steps:
- Download GMD GestureControl (there is also a free version, although I am not sure if this will 100% work on that)
- Swipe right to 'custom gestures'
- Set up like this

That's about it!

dear i think u should check the forum before you post... the thing GMD gestures already posted and described in the forum

[Q] Wifi Tethering bypass trick with SQ Lite Editor, how do I to get it to work?

On this post, MrNa5ty kindly point out that there's an entry in Sq Lite Editor read as "tether_entitlement_check_state", yet I don't see it on my end. I also notice there's a step before everything, which is "need to try and activate the hot spot initially in the user interface settings", to my limited knowledge, I believed I had already done that, yet it still didn't seem to be appearing anywhere on my Sq Lite screen, does anyone has a similar situation like this and get resolved? The picture below is what I think MrNa5ty referring to as "user interface settings". Or maybe not, bc how is a rookie like me know any better, lol.

Anyway, I went back to SQ Lite Editor after I see this message pop up
And I had done this so many times, I lost count, but I never able to see that database entry ""tether_entitlement_check_state" appear, man I wish banging my head to the wall could solve this problem. :crying:
PS: Do I have to unroot it before it could work?

Problem "Reminders" "customize" Google Discover -feed- disabled

1416/5000
Best regards!
I come to your wisdom when I run out of resources to solve my problem ...
I have always been a great follower of Google and I like to use a lot of the things they implement. In this case, google feed, discover, however you know it.
What's going on? When I slide to the left on the desk, the "white" screen remains, as it never updates or shows any of the news, which is very strange to me, because I remember that before I showed it, even in other devices that I had before the pixel. ... investigating to give solution, one of the things that are mentioned, from the google itself is to do this:
On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Google app.
Touch Menu Menu and then Personalize.
Choose the themes you want to add or delete:
However, what a surprise I found to see that this option to customize it has been disabled, as well as the option of reminders, and even though I searched, even in English, I have not found information about it to enable these options.
Maybe one of you has gone through this same experience? Any possible solution?
I will be very grateful with any answer that contributes to my solution,
A hug.
P.S.
Annex 3 images to try to be more descriptive with the problem I have and make it easier to understand
