WM6 for HTC Love

Hello Everybody
I've bought an HTC Love device and I want to flash a wm6 rom very much. but as you can see there is no place in xda-developers specially for htc love.
Some guy told me that I can flash an artemis wm6 rom instead of a love wm6 rom. so i made this thread here.
can any of u guys show me a way to get wm6 on my device?

Try to flash Artemis Touch 4.01 Vanilla, it`s very nice, pure ROM. I think this ROM have best adaptation for LOVE, it`s only one you need to kill: QuickGPS, no GPS module in LOVE. Flashing is very easy: 1st step is flashing USPL unlock and 2nd flashing ROM. I`m owner of LOVE in 11 month, for this time tried many any ROMs Vanilla is best.

Where can I find the original wm5 rom for HTC Love I mean the shipped version.

Why my is my Hermes so unstable...

Hey. I have installed one of the new roms (19209) and of this time, my hermes always hangs (etc. when i receive a call or so, or in the morning after wake up from standby...)
Before i had Shadow 2.0 without problems (also WM6). Now (after 19209) i installed Shadow 2.1 and my hermes always hangs???
What could i do??
Please help me.

I found that I was having the same issues, phone hard reseting itself and all sorts, I did the following to resolve:
Flash to Official wwe Windows mobile 6.0 AT&T rom
update my hard spl to the latest,
replace radio rom
update to WM 6.1 image of choice,
this is supposed to be an issue witht he big storage roms screwing with the phones storage, flashing to an original rom appears to resolve.

But before i flashed the Shadow 2.1 i have flashed an non big Storage Rom.
i havent tried to reflash radio yet, but i will do that and then flash an original ROm first.
Which ROM do you prefer?

Hihi....
personally I suggest you to flash an official rom first ,
then go to flash the PDAviet rom ( my OS version) ,
its lightning fast and yet stable. ^_^

1. Flash HARD-SPL v9 (i had v7)
2. Check for Bad Blocks via mtty (nothing found
3. Flash Official HTC Rom (non big storage)
4. Flash Radio 1.54.30.10
5. Flash MY OS PDAviet rom (Green & Clean Version)
6. Installed my prefered Software:
PhoneAlarm
Resco Explorer
Birthdays Today Plugin
Large Startmenu
FTouchSL v2.5
PCM Keyboard 0.14
PocketCM-0.20b
S2U2 0.99p
SPB Mobile SHell 2.0
After some soft reset (while application installation) it starts up normally to the today screen and then hangs :-(
Does any of my installed software hang up???? Did anybody of you know if any of the above listed software is bad
(I could remeber that i always have installed this software without any problems (in Shadows 2.0 TE rom)).

Hmmm. The advice given was to flash the official AT&T ROM before doing anything else ... yet I do not see that step in the list of things you've done.
Instead I see you've flashed a different one. And you still remain unsatisfied with the outcome.
If your problems persist, I would highly suggest USING the advice you've been given before seeking additonal advice. If nothing else ... just out of respect for those who gave you that advice, to begin with.
Godspeed and good luck. I am personally happy with what WM6 is giving me, without needing to push the boundaries to where they are obviously currently at a breaking point with 6.1.
But If you absolutely find you have a NEED for WM6.1, where it's been stated to be somewhat flaky right now on the Hermes, I suggest you deal with that flakiness. After you've TAKEN THE ADVICE GIVEN, if it still doesn't work to your expectations, roll back and move on.
Just my own $0.02.

Hey isn't the "official HTC Rom" an official ROM?? Ill think it is an official non Big Storage.
Until yet no freezes.....
If it freezes i will flash an AT&T Rom first

Try here: HTC's AT&T 8525 Support Page. It looks like the same ROM is still available.

I hat couple of freezes in the last days. Now i have found some time to reflash the rom you given me the link. After that i would flash the 1.54.30.10 radio and the G&C rom from PDAViet.net.
Ill report back..

I have installed HardSPL-9. is this normal that my hermes hangs at 100% after flashing a rom????

I have flashed the B&C PDAVIET Rom. I dont know if this is a bug of the rom, but no my Hermes takes about 10 secs to wake up from standby!!! Now ill miss almost every call

As I had alluded to earlier, from following threads in this forum, it appears to me that the current WM6.1 ROM available is not yet ready for prime time. I have decided to remain happy with the 6.0 versions ... especially after reviewing the reports on exactly what has changed in 6.1 (not much).
Maybe it's time to honestly ask yourself if the currently available upgrade to 6.1 is really worth all this trouble.
Again, just my own POV here.

I have the same problem with more than 6 different wm6.1 roms... it's a serious bug in wm6.1, all roms!

It seems that the wakeup bug is gone now. Just soft-Reseted my phone. Now it wakes up normally.
The wake bug i just have in the PDAVIET B&C Rom one time, now its gone (hope a long time )
In the other 19209 roms from PDAVIET i havent some of this wakeup bugs (just the other issues mentioned before).
I will report back...

htc's new official HK rom help

hi all,
i had a quick question about upgrading ROMs. my stock ROM was the HK WWE version 1.34.something. and then i hard-spl and upgraded to the TLR version 3 ROM (which btw is great!). but i want to give the official HTC 1.93.831.1 WWE rom a try.
what do i do? should i go back to the stock SPL? do i need to go back to my stock rom?

My situation is similar to you, I already hard-spl and tried a few custom ROM. Yesterday I also upgraded to this latest HK ROM. No problem, no need to go back stock SPL.
Performance is significantly improved, Highly recommended!
Only drawback is the ROM size is very large that after installed the memory is just 60MB.

just download the file and then upgrade u have hard-spl already installed so u can now upgrade to any rom u want no need to go back to stock rom !!

Htc hd rom tips!

Hey, I just bought my HTC HD Norwegian! I wonder what ROM you recommend! I would love to have TF3D 2 keyboard/dialers, which on Diamond II! but my phone is Norwegian, can i have a unoffical Rom on my phone? what can i do?
My current rom is; RUU_BlackStone_HTC_NOR_1.56.409.0_Radio_52.62.25.34_1.13.25.24_Ship

Yes, you can install an unofficial ROM using USPL!
It's hard to recommend a specific ROM, since every ROM has advantages and disadvantages. But in your case I would suggest Dutty's newest ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=498326) for the following reason: You already have a 1.56 ROM installed, which means you already have SPL 1.54. If you wanted to install a ROM that is still SPL 1.14, you would have to downgrade first! Flashing Dutty's ROM would be much easier!!!

Good question... there are many things that could be causing this kind of behaviour!
Did you use USPL to flash to Dutty's ROM? (By the way: Dutty's 2.8 is out already
You have to download USPL and run it when your device is connected in bootloader mode. If it works, it should say "USPL" behind your version number, no longer just "SPL". Then try to flash!

just upgraded to the touch diamond from the e650... but there seem to be LOADS more roms for this phone, im just wondering what the best one is or what is the update for my one.

i tryed to download am updated rom from htc site by adding my s/n but it doesnt let me, i gues my phone is an inport from hong kong :S tho it have registerd on the uk site :S

btw, try cooked roms, they are lot better than stocks and dont ask which one is best coz different people likes different roms

I ordered mine through Hong Kong also (im from Australia), and like you I cant get a 'stock' ROM to download via the official site, and even if you get someone else to download it for you, it comes up as the wrong ROM type when you attempt to flash it.
There is a Telstra ROM floating around that you can download via unofficial means, and I got that to install ok, but it has a heap of bigpond specific links on it.. not to mention doesnt actually work without a Telstra SIM (plus its a boring ROM anyway).
As for cooked ROM's, yes id recommend just choose one you like, they are all decent, some just have better applications or aesthetics which is nice, however if I had my time again, I might think twice, because there is a hard-reset issue that has been floating around for quite a few users... and the fixes havent worked, so I pretty much need to get a new phone now.

yo adsoxda my diamond was on orange france, from france i cannot use my model number on htc website as well, but i used that one (ht822gn28022) which wasnt come frome my phone and downloaded rom, flashed and enjojed for couple of days before i moved to cooked . "best" is relative ... it all depends on what you want - features? Speed? Stability? Fancy animations? etc etc.
I've gone through a few ROMs, and really like Dia Duit's ROM. Very stable, very fast, lots of memory.The only way to find out for sure is to try it for yourself.

Yes, always make sure you Hard-SPL before flashing any ROM, and I'd also strongly recommend to MTTY before any flash, and it'll be a much more pleasant experience flashing and trying different ROM's!
