I have installed Shamanix`s WM6 Ultimate v2.1 ROM, and I really like it.
But, as in many recent WM6 ROMs, the Comm Manager and the PINpad are I think HTC Touch style. Anyway a style I do not like very much.
I like the PINpad that is for example in (some of?) Schap's 3.54 or 3.57 ROMs. I think it's Kaiser style. See the attached screendump.
So I'd like to change them. For the Comm Manager replacement I use Schaps_Kaiser_CommManager.CAB. Works great.
But how can I change the PINpad? As I read the phcanOverbmp.dll is responsible for that. So how can I obtain the phcanOverbmp.dll that I'd like? I haven't come across a CAB yet however that changes the PINpad.
Any input is appreciated.

Thanks, but that's exactly the style I don't like. But it was my mistake, the pinpad/dialpad style I prefer isn't the Kaiser style, is the standard WM6 style with the rounded buttons. There are so many ROMs with various pinpad/dialpad/comm manager styles floating around that it's hard to keep track which is which. But thanks anyway for pointing me to that link.

Pinpad should be same as dialer now, but you will loose color warning in the battery icon!

Thanks for the cab!
I don't care about the colored battery icons, since I use Lordsmiff's Battery Level tool which basically does the same just a whole lot nicer IMHO. I have attached it in case you don't have it.

BTW I really like your ROMs!
I ran the Pinpad fix, and it just tweaked by battery indicator. My security screen looks like WM5 still, not WM6.
Also, are there any other WM6 dialers that aren't Kaiser-style? That is all I can find when I search.

It looks great, but I'm wondering why this is called a WVGA skin? I see a large white area at the bottom of the portrait screen..and at the left and right of the landscape screen.
I really appreciate your work and like I said, it looks great, definitely much better compared to the default calculator. However, it would be much better if it took advantage of the big screen (bigger buttons)...which is what a WVGA skin is supposed to do?
That's right, maybe you can add some calculator image or some graphics there. Possible?

It's much nicer than the stock calc. is there a way to get it into WVGA? mine is the same as jeannot61.

Also for me the skin shows only in VGA, but a very nice skin.
The topic is slightly miss titled - it should read VGA Calculator Skin working on WVGA devices.
With the L.Sylvain VGA skin, there were two buttons under the '0' and '.' buttons which Panosha has very kindly fixed. As mentioned by others, the stock calculator looks awful!

Interesting skin, I like that with every rom update your new dialer skins keep getting more artistic. Very curious to see this "alien" skin of yours.
Maybe add the registry-tweak as Post XML in CAB for simplicity?
Edit: Been digging thru some dll's and I'm starting to think the green bgcolor for text in dialer is set somewhere in phcanrc.dll. Trying to figure it out, any help is appreciated.

For anyone eho has changed the clour scheme on Itje's TF3d (SEX1) to the bright blue, here is a dialer. I've not been clever with the incoming/outgoing screens, this is purely the keypad. Extract to \Windows\ using TotalCommander then reset

This is not particularly a work of art, all I've really done is made the calculator files negative, but it fits in with black themes nicely.

i have a minor problem:
-with the dialer...after i installed it, the "delete" button didn't change, so i have whole black dialer except "delete" number still in white colour )
-Task bar's icon still not change.
i uses Shadowline's rom build 28002 manilla 2.5

If you are waiting for an answer to which font.
The font you are looking for is HERE (it is called comfortaa)
I think that Comfortaa by Godzson doesn't work with WM6.5... I created this one (that I sent by email...):

hi i installed it.. looks great.. thanks a lot...... the extra bit of options and the clock....
it slowed down the home screen a bit but not a big concern..
do u have the taskbar and icons aswell in the cabs??i installed all of them but i my taskbar and the icons down the bottom remained the same...

Hi, guys.
This is a WM 6.5 lockscreen tweaked to resemble the Manila home tab (to the extent that this is possible). Almost all the hard stuff (the clock font, the clock background, etc) were taken from torsergey's excellent mod, made for Leo (HD2) - available here. Thanks, torsergey.
What I did was the slider, the green bullets on the sliiders, some small alignment stuff, etc..
Warning:
When uninstalling you might loose the default WM 6.5 lockscreen. To avoid that, please make sure that you backup your original /Windows/LockScreen directory and restore it after you uninstall this mod.
Notes:
This was tested with Miri's latest ROMs - it should work with any ROM that contains the HTC modifications to the lockscreen.

Well, yes and no. The clock is displayed using a combination of 3 layers:
Background image
Time text rendered with a special font (thanks again, torsergey)
Overlay thst adds the 'shading' to the clock
As long as you can provide these 3 elements (background, clock font, shading) it's doable - probably the clock font is the hardest part.

I have found one small bug ....
It is with appointments.
The problem is that the Lockscreen is showing appointment even if I don't have one that day ... instead it is showing my yesterdays appointment from standard calendar. It is showing it even when I delete the appointment!
Hmmm... that's interesting, as this is only a skin, it should display exactly the same information as the standard lockscreen displays - I don't have a clue why is this happening ...

Probably there's something different in the original (HTC) lock screen customization in your ROM - if I'll find time I'll compile a standalone lockscreen - that doesn't depend on stuff already on the device.
It doesn't work for me.It shows something like the old windows6 lockscreen.I'm running xannytech grid evo 2.2b.
Is WM 6.5 Manila-like lockscreen works on WM 6.1 or this lockscreen for WM6.5 only?

Also for me when I install the cab I get only the old WM 6.1 "lock screen".
I am on WM 6.5.5 with sense 2.1.
Hope you can bring us a fix soon. Really nice skin for the lockscreen.

Check the lock settings if it is set to "Windows Default" or "Windows Classic". That might work.
