hi everyone, since yesterday my phone
says i got a new sms... wich is not true...
i use SPB shell... i find that veryyyyyyyy usefull
cuz i dont really like theh way the TP2 looks without it...
the thing is that says i got 1 Txt message i havent read..
to try to eliminate the problem i have erased all my sms..
still no luck.. even erased my Gmail account from the phone
still no luck, restart the phone and nothing has help me..
if anyone knows anything that could help please let me know.

I've had a similar issue but it was a new email message that I couldn't find. Apparently it was the Windows Mobile "E-mail Tips and Tricks" message in my Outlook inbox which I didn't check. Perhaps it's the same issue with you...

bcuz it says that the message is in the SMS..
and plus i dont even have an email added to the
phone
is gettin annoying having that.. everytime i think
i have a new message :'(

Hi all,
I'm experiencing a strange problem...
After reading a new SMS it remains unread, and there is no way to flag it "read", I can't even delete it... simply it remains there, untouchable, forever and ever.
It happens only sometimes, not on every SMS I receive, but it is awful!!!
I tried to cleanup notifications with Pocket Mechanic, but it can't fix the problem.
I searched for the SMSs folder on the device, just like Outlook folders, to find the message and delete it manually, but I don't know where it is...
So... anyone can help me please?????

hi guys, i need your help. i don't know what tweak or adjustment i did but i started to get an email indicator that i have one unread email even though i have read already all. i even deleted all my emails and my email account but i still get that green indicator at my e-mail tab that tells me, i have one unread email.
its quite irritating and confusing for me everytime i open my touch hd. can somebody please give me an advise or a clue? thanks

Thank you!!! I've had that happen before, and got so frustrated with it that I removed the email tab from tf3d A new rom install fixed it, but I can't remember what caused it to begin with. Now I'll be able to try new things again without cringing...
I have searched in the Rhodium section for this problem, but didn't really find any solutions to my problem.
When I choose a person, edit contact information, and scroll down to the end to link facebook profile, it worked in the past.
However, yesterday, when I tried it, it gave me an error message with manila.exe. Now, everytime I click on the link Facebook, it will just show me the contacts.
Any solution to this?

I was having the same problem I did a hard reset and it fixed the problem.
Same problem here. It crashes when I try to link to a Facebook account, but also immediately crashes when I visit the "all people / updates and events" tab. Hoping there's a way to fix this without a hard reset
I contacted HTC and they said that a hard reset was the solution...oh well. At least we have a solution! Right?
How is that a solution? Won't the issue just come back again? I only managed to link about 6 contacts before it broke, it may be 4 or 3 next time? :-S
Hi all, and sorry for my bad English.
I've just bought a new HTC Excalibur S620. Everything's fine except one thing : I can't compose/read Text Message/ Email !
When I click Compose in Homescreen or create New Text Message in Messaging, compose screen appears with the word "To:" and a blue line in text area. I tried to choose a name in Contact but nothing happens, and I can't type anything ! When I received a text message, I click to read and a blank page appears, I click right soft key and it say : "The message cannot be signed and/or encrypted".
I use hard reset, after that everything's solved. Then I install "Auto Keylock (maniac Keylock)", the problem happens again. Hard reset again, avoid install that keylock app, but the text message compose stops working again after I setup GMail acc in Messaging !
So anyone knows how to solve this problem ??? Please help me !!! Thanks !!!
flash your phone to a newer rom. s620 are no longer being manufactured new so you probably have a refurbished which are notorious for crappy software. check out ookba's 3vo or NRG's rom running WM6.5
Yes I think it's the rom's problem, and I finally found out how to solved this problem. I hard reset my S620, after that, I run Messaging and compose, it worked. Then I use CeleTask to exclude the Messaging app, restart the phone... and the problem no longer happens again !

Hey, It happened again ! But after read some topics in this forum, now I know what exactly the problem is ! It's because of I turned off ActiveX Control in IE Setting !
I just turn it on again, and after a reboot, my S620 works perfectly !!!

Well i'm sure if you have any problems that this is the only place you'll find the answers you need to know. You should look at flashing to a WM6.5 rom, they're incredible and there are some great cooks here, but most importantly there are even more cool things being released every week for them that currently aren't being made for WM6.0 anymore.
It thinks I have a new text. I even deleted every text chain. Multiple resets. Ever happen to anyone else?

Yeah thats happend to me on my TouchFlo3D. Its a really weird bug. I think that it happens if u delete a message chain that still has a new message in it. Theres no way to fix it other than a hard reset cuz i went for about a month waiting for it to correct itself but it didnt so i had to hard reset. My best advice is to make sure u dont have any unread messages when u delete them
This happened to me recently i found an .exe app that corrects it for you. I don't have it here at work but i know its somewhere in this forum.
If you still can find it, message me and i'll email you the file when i get home.

It shows I have two new messages always for me too.
I just tired that file you posted because I have the same bug and when I run it, it says it found the the "new" SMS and fixes but it still shows up on the touchflo 3d.
When I run the app again, it shows no errors. However when I reboot the phone and run the app it shows the new SMS and fixes it, but it still showing up. fml.
I'm using the tilt 2 from at&t with wm 6.5.
EDIT: taking out the battery fixed it after using the app! Thanks!
