Ask for youtube player for wm 6.5

Recently I'v flashed my touch HD with a wm 6.5 rom which does not include the original youtube player because this rom is developed in China and youtube is not available there. I'v searched for days but I cannot find an original youtube player that can be used in my rom. So I ask for help. I would be appreciated if someone can extract a cab file from a wm 6.5 rom or just give me some hint on how to do that.

Thanks for that smart ass remark. I, myself have searched for hours upon hours for a working youtube for my 6.5 and still nothing. I stumbled upon one that might work, but it doesn't. Let's not forget also, that each page on this website takes forever to load. Do you have any clue how long that takes when you're searching?
This community is awesome with its upgrades and freebies for people. But some, it seems, have lost their humanity when dealing with others. If you're going to bother to post, then post something that helps. Not just a link to the search function. That's rude, and If you were in a store and they told you to go search for something instead of helping you, you'd be quite pissed.

IPone type apps for HD

I look at some of the apps they advertise on TV for the IPhone and wonder if the same are avalible for my HD , are there any web sites anyone knows of as I am strugging to find any??

Yep, if you just tell us what kind of app, the chances are that there is a winmo version (except maybe some games)

tf3d audio player letters

hey everybody i've searched the forum, but didn't found anything like this (except for one discussion with no result )
so the thing is....i'm using the energyrom 23504 (and have no problems with it =))
but my question, is there a way to attach this letter bar, which is already in the contacts menu, to the audio player.
Cause it's very annoying to scroll throug all the tracks to find sth. (yeah i know you can also search for an artist or sth) but it would be great if someone knows sth about it =)

Unfortunately it's not possible. Hopefully HTC will implement this in a future version of Manila.

Youtube video Downloader ( a patch for...)

Hello guys , do you know if exists a cab or a patch created for download Youtube videos on WM 6.5 ?????

Closest thing to a youtube downloader is youtubeplay, as far as I know. It's a separate program that can play or download youtube videos. The only drawback is it only works with the lowest quality videos.

This program is OLD and isn't useful with WM 6.5 . I would like to see a cab that add to original youtube player a tab for download videos ...like the Palm Pre or iPhone "jailbreaked" ...

um....really? Sure you don't want to rephrase that request a little? Unlike the devs on your planet, ours don't just sit around waiting to be ordered into action by an anonymous party with an immdiate "need"

A few Desire questions

Hi, im thinking on buying the Desire but i have a few questions about it before i do so:
1. One thing that is bothering me is that i read theres no Divx support. As most of my files are AVI format, does it mean that if i wanna play my AVI format movies it wont play it? If thats true, is it going to change in the near future? ( which i really hope so)
2. Since it runs Android, does it mean i can forget about using MS Office and MS messenger or any other MS application?

2. there are many free msn clients. it comes with an app that can read Office file formats, but you want to create or edit documents you'll need to buy an app
3. doesn't look like it's available for WVGA officially..

2. There is quick office app present in the phone, you can use it to view office files. You need to buy documents to go or a similar application to be able to edit files.
3.igo is avaiable for android.

I read that HTC said there will be an update for Divx and 720p, but that was a few months ago, but i can see nothing is changed yet. It feels like it wont happen.

Nothing officially as yet from HTC.
However, we have 720p recording as part of the Froyo with Sense leak, and we have DivX via Rockplayer.

I understand that there is also no Hebrew fonts for the Desire. I do not need the phone to have a Hebrew menus, but i would like to be able to write text messages or email in Hebrew and if i understood correctly, this is not possible unless i root the Desire (which i prefer not to) and install Hebrew fonts myself.
If all of the above is correct, is there a chance that Froyo will support Hebrew fonts?
Also, Is there an official date when Froyo will be out?

[Face_palm] As stated in a previous post: 1. A forum search would find most if not all of your answers. 2. No official word from HTC as of yet, other than Q3 2010.
