Release: FuN_KeY's ROM for so called "Suisse-Romand"!

The main purpose os this ROM is to fit my needs; I just have it send in case some other people has the same needs.
So, here is a ROM for a little people in a little country:
It is especially build for "english speaking Suisses Romands" because it has:
-French dictionnary
-German keyboard (QWERTZ)
-OS is in English
I could release a full WWE one, but as there are allready many arround I don't think mine could be of any use. However, I you ask for it I could have it done within a minute.
Because of data corruption possibility, I decided to use the 6.0 Pandora rom Base. It has less space but I hope improved stability

are we still having the activesync issue with this rom as well? i love the 2.0, though i can only sync with my work laptop.. my personal laptop errors out with the 860.... error.

hey cloudyfa. glad to see you released an updated version of CE!! wanted to ask. i just got my kaiser and i tweaking it out now(sure wish you did Kaiser rom's), but, can you get a working cab of your home icons and glossy look from your TE rom for me to use on my kaiser. im not to skilled with making cabs and would really appreciate it. thanks in advance

System & context menus too large

Hi,
This seems to be ROM-unrelated since i've had it on several.
On most Diamond ROMs context and soft-menus seem to be way too large. This is obviously some thumb-friendly setting, but i'd like to tone it down a little or turn it off completely. Does anyone know what registry key is involved ?
Note: this is unrelated to the large title bar setting, it is not affected by the general text size setting, and there is no option in schaps advanced config that i could find, so unless you are absolutely sure there's a setting in advanced config that changes this, please don't guess ;P
This seems to be completely application-unrelated. It's probably a system-wide setting...

Bepe's 0.97 ROM?

thats from htc raphaels ROM that bepe has made it possible for us to use in our diamond so in next build of his that will be fixed ask him for rgistry key or something or u can also use SKtools to change the fonts size overal thats the best option that u can do now use sktools and in tune up u can use change the font size !!!

It's not bepe's rom. As I said I've seen it on multiple ROMs. This is christonge's.
I'll look into sktools later, but if anyone has a more precise answer, I'd of course be happy to hear it....

This works for me. (is posted in the bepe public beta thread)

I have used the same Reg edit with 900 also in the past as I prefer all the fonts at the same size.
Perhaps it's to the Raphael OEM packs that I used but it's easily adjusted...

i used Advanced Config 3.3 to change the font size of the menus in mail or txt or any menu for that matter.
Load advanced config and expand User Interface, then scroll down to "Menu bar font size:" and change value to 900
Also change "Popup menu font size:" to 900
I like the 900 setting i tried 600 700 and 800 and they were all too small
1000 is default for Standard size and i believe the stock roms ship with Large as default.
I'm also not sure if those options are available on the stock roms, I am using the new released htc rom from here:

works pretty smoothly right after install and has no AT&T bloatware.
GPS works fine with google maps also. I tried it in Flushing, NY today and it found 11 satellites in under 10 seconds.

HTC Touch HD Windows Mobile 7 Skin UPDATE!!!

This is my first skin for Wisbar Advance Desktop, and I think it's pretty good... The white circle at the bottom is an on-screen scroll wheel, sort of like an iPod, to make on screen navigation easier and quicker. The Windows Icon launches the programs list (i.e. start menu). It also features a new start menu almost identical to beta versions of Windows Mobile 6.5, as well as a sort of TouchFlo 3D-esque interface. I will be releasing it along with a new website later this month, as I still have a few things left to do on both the website (giovani-design.com), and the software. I promise it's gonna be sweet though! Anyway tell me what you think and hopefully I'll be releasing it soon!

why are the picture such high resolution?
dont want to say that it is a fake, but the device has only a wvga-res...

The images aren't screen shots, they are mock-ups made in photoshop. The sofware isn't done yet but it will look exactly the same as it does in the pictures (just not as high res).

Well I hope it's fast and fluent the res is important but when there are glitches it's a big turn off for me .I prefer speed that's useful in everyday useage and if it's bug free that will be my new WAD UI for sure.Hope it works as great as it looks keep up the good work if you need testing I volunteer right away.

I am optimizing it for the Touch HD, and it should run very smoothly. I am still working on it and so far there haven't been any problems. I will be posting the website soon, but the software will not be available for at least another month. But I would be more than happy to let you beta test it, once it's in the finishing stages. I'm in school right now so I have a limited time to work on it, otherwise it would be done by now

I'd really like an app which when run tries to close all managed windows and if it can't then it kills the process. So often when a program's not responding all I can do is access voice command, so if i could say "start kill all" i'd be sorted.
Currently my issue is with pRSSReader, which is a brilliant app, but it keeps stalling lately.

No, not an app with a UI. I have a task manager. That thing will never start up if the phone is hanged. An app which does what I said all by itself as soon as it's started. No visibility, feedback or UI at all. A Mortscript would probably do, thinking about it.

Assign it to a hw key (the frozen program must be the current active window). Does this do it?
PS: I use WkTask terminate feature to kill frozen apps. For processes with no window I use dotFred's Task Manager.
