Thiking of jumping ship from Omnia to Touch Pro 2. I just need to check that with the new screen res ISILO reader works ok with Touch Pro 2. This is a must have for me. Does anyone have it installed or can test. I've already searched Touch Diamond 2/Touch HD forums due to the similiar resolutions but can't see anything definitive.

I saw your screenshots, but what kind of 'skin' or something do you use for your statusbar (eg: connectivity, volumestatus etc). some of them are green, and pretty nice drawed.

The directories in the German WM6 version don't match.
For example directory "start menu" is "Startmenü".
The PointUI Software does not find the programs.

I have loaded it on my Trinity running AX3L 3.12. It all seems to be working ok except that the time won't change to 24hr mode and the dialer won't work in the call history. I've tried changing the region etc., it still dials and I get a message from my provider saying that it is not a valid number. If I go to my normal call history in Windows 6, it works as normal.
Also, touch flow doesn't seem to work proplerly outside of the Home environment. I have uninstalled my 1.41 touchflow because it conflicts with the Home app gestures. So now touchflow only works within the Home app.
If I go to Wifi settings, Home takes me to the GSM data connection settings, not Wifi settings. The battery icon at the top doesn't indicate charging, and although I haven't tested Home for very long, it may be a battery eater...too early to tell for sure.
For the first incarnation, this looks very promising.

I don't really like the touch things, neither flow not this.
Plus, it hung several times while I tried to set weather location for my city.
Also, I have my Trinity all black, this is nice, but blue.
i hope this will be available in android.. as as 1 of the gui!!... great..

Revised version with a little more customization available for download already. these developers do listen!
Version 1.0 had some language issues.
Version 1.01b drained my battery within 1/2 day.
Best "Finger"-Software but not stable on the P3600.
have had it for 2days on my m700 working great very finger friendly battery nothing unusual to speak off the same as always and im using Schaps Wm6 WWE rom which by the way rocks

This is the one of the first questions I want the answer to whenever a new windows mobile device comes out?
So has anyone tried it on the touch HD and how does it perform? What happens to the display when you try the full screen mode, how does it cope with the high resolution? Any screenshots would be particularly helpfull.
PS I know there is a update to the slingplayer planned especially for these high resolution devices but I want to know how the existing version behaves.

I have used slingplayer on HD and its very good.But , when you want to change channels u have to change the channels via , File , Menu System rather than the image on slingplayer.Looks like the remote control picture is not scaled properly as the HD is wvga device.But other than that, slingbox performance is very good.

Yes, the fullscreen mode, covers the full screen and its very nice.You can set the settings for high action under slingplayer settings and it runs really smooth and superb.

But the only problem , I am facing right now , is the remote control image where it shows up is not scaled properly for wvga screen.It works fine on diamond, but not for HD. Hope someone can find a fix where you can find a wvga fix for VGA apps.

Slingplayer works quite good as you can see.
If you add channels (with logos) to your favorites, it's no problem to change channels. Works fine to me.

I've not seen it cover the full screen. Could you confirm again that you're getting full screen video? I have a Touch Diamond 2 and can't get it to cover and I called Sling and they said it's not possible. Is there a hack somewhere?

NO. Can't see any more area than on a 2.8" screen. Was a big disappointment to me.

I get most of the screen filled in landscape mode. I only have the small 2-3mm black side bars that don't fill in. I am using the HD Pro slingbox. Don't know if that has anything to do with it. When you are no in landscape mode it is around 2.8" but otherwise it is pretty much fullscreen.

Hi It looks like the poster above has slingplayer mobile working on duttys 6.5 r9 rom? I try to install it and it says not a valid pocket pc app? any hints?

Works fine on HD (I have the Sling Solo).
The upload rate at home is 800Mb/s.
The framerate on HD is jumpy sometimes. The picture quality is resonable. The images (including movies subtitles) are clear and readable.
In landscape mode, the image almost fills the screen, but not entierly.
I'm happy with that. Hope that a real 800x400 player version will surface up.

I'll put my two cents in when I get a chance. I done some invite only beta work for sling before. Not that is going to make a difference but it might help. I gotta say that the video quality is better on the touch hd than the iphone. I swear the iphone was better before the update.

Now this is a new issue...Once started, on portrait mode, the slingplayer screen takes half the screnn of the HD.Also it is impossible to change channels as the buttons seem pressed there.
On Landscape mode the screen is filled up almost to the 90% capacity of the HD , thus making it very very comfortable to watch.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix the portrait mode???

has anyone managed to get slingplayer mobile working well on Touch HD? The buttons are impossible to use for the remote very small and not mapped correctly, also the full screen is not the whole screen only part of it.. anyone got any tips? I searched but noone seems to have solved this?

its just about usable although slow to use the menus for remote control functions but the streaming and PQ are excellent so its worth having!
I have it working.
I cannot however hand out the version I am using.
So, please wait. a version that does work perfectly with HD is on its way. I can also state SlingMobile version coming out soon works perfectly on Omnia and on the X1.

awesome, figured out I can get the current version usable with Sky plus by using the favourites buttons to set the most common remote control functions but it would be good to have a version that works with WVGA properly!! Any idea on timelines for the newer version?

2. Where can I download the Hologram program as that looks really kool!

Hologram app doesn't work on my Touch HD. It says it cannot find a certain DLL.
Didn´t say it works as I never tried it.....don´t really see any practical purpose in it.....

For "Beer" software....search for Diamond Beer in the Diamond Forums. It works on the HD if you have Net CF 3.5 (I guess you have it after running Hologram)

Diamond Hologram works on Touch HD, look on youtube for : HTC blackstone VR Hologram
I installed the pandora zip which contains the cab (posted below) and works but the resolution isn't right. Maybe someone can fix this? Also you must assign (in setting/buttons) a key to activate the keyboard so you can type in pandora. One more this is that most of the buttons you have to tap with the stylus to the left of it. Hopefully some can make this work with our resolution. But I am able to listen to music fine.
Hey nice fine, this works perfectly on my QVGA Kaiser (ATT Tilt actually). You're the man. I don't see anything on Pandora's website about this either.
