found this addictive little web app based on the tenori-on while browsing stumbleupon:

This works on the blackstone using skyfire, but I was wondering if anyone is aware of an app like this?
Cool

That's a nice theme, but I do slightly prefer the Trekking Theme. I'm uploading a video to youtube as we speak. Can we embed YT vid on XDA?
Apparently we can:
Hi guys!
Is it possible to use the browser from gingerbread/nexus s on our galaxy s phones? I remember we used the one from galaxy tab with great success
In videos the Nexus S browser looks far superior
If anybody has or know where i can get the "browser.apk" from the Nexus S I would be happy to test it
Provide and I will serve!
You can have it, but it's not deodexed.

Is it possible to deodex it? I'm running Docs rom right now
If its possible to get it it running, it would be a huge + for the browsing experience.
But then again, there could be some major compatibility issues sinces its from gingerbread.. or maybe not!

The nexus s browser isn't gpu accelerated, the jpx one is just so you know, its much faster.
JPX/JPU browser
Does anyone finds the browser experience just awfull in both firmwares?
The best browser I have tested was probably the one that came with the 1st or 2nd froyo firmware (dont remember)
It was fast, smooth just perfect, this one does strange things like on zooming in or out the page disapears and is replaced with squares and scroling the page gets distorced...
Any ideias how to solve this or is it just me?

Yeah, its bug with 3D acceleration.
Maybe a little bit offtopic.
Is scrolling in this page, http://powerampapp.com/features/ , completely smooth? On my device (JPX Doc) I get enormous lags. The browser hangs at the images.
Am I the only one?

I'm on DOC's JPX V6 and http://powerampapp.com/features/ is completely smooth, no lags at all. Zooming is smooth too.

Galaxy s is the only phone with a gpu accelerated browser out there... why would you want to replace that? Use an android 2.2.1 firmware

I would like a theme for Call of Duty Zombies for my phone if anyone would like to tackle it. If one has already been made I apologize in advance. It can be made from any zombie pics available idc what just want something to spice up the look of my phone haha. Currently running SyndicateROM Frozen 1.2 with EC05 modem and twilight 1.1 kernel and the Mattedred Theme. Thanks in advance...
Oh Zigg and Paul!!! Looks like one for you guys.
That would be sick, I'm all for something like this. Maybe include some memorable quotes from Nicolai, Takeo, Dempsey and Richtoffen. Only issue I can see is finding enough images, although those could possibly be ripped from one of the Xbox dashboard themes. Also, have different apps of the phone represent the different maps, there are like 8 or 9 of them now so that would add some differentiallity (not sure if that's a word lol)

I actually like the next browser myself, takes getting used to but it's very smooth and functional

thanks for watching my back lol. what did you think from a developers point of view?
Wow its pretty snappy. And does a nice job of autohiding the title bar and managing tabs. I might like this.
I got turned on to Next browser when Dolphin's download notifications were having an issue with Halo causing System UI crashes. Definitely a worthwhile browser replacement, to notch.

Work great love it:good:
they do a lot of updates also. great devs
Lots of options. Very nice indeed. I like it much better than Dolphin browser.
It is one of the best browser's out there. I've tried them all on all my devices. Boat browser seems to crash after a little a while no matter what I do... Even disabling flash has no effect.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
i'll give this a try, already have like 5 browsers to choose from tho,,boat, dolphin, lightning, chrome, firefox, opera mini is the fastest imo
I'm I alone in preferring good old aosp browser lol

Definitely not alone, but I've been checking out this Next Browser as an alternative and it's pretty sweet.

It has a good UI but the right sidebar is difficult to deal with when you use pie controls, and I prefer being able to control all my tabs quickly instead of having to navigate to another view to do so.
Right, ultimately why I had to bail on Next for my phone.
Sent from my Nexus 7
found it too slow, imo, boat browser is much faster
