Hi, does exist any program for improving better kvality foto and video? I think kvality, sharpness etc. Thanks too much
I would think increasing the default sharpness by 1 or 2 notch should improve the quality of the photos. Else, I would use Picasa 3 to do post editing. Auto Colour and Sharpness applied, the pictures will look really good IMO.
And better fluent video, for example edit in register etc? Or any program for it... Thanks
Look at THIS! It seems the Topaz has it's on section!

hiya, i'm really thinking of getting a BlueAngel (SPV M2000 (orange obviously)) and well it has all the things that are great and hence there being a whole site devoted to it...
My only doubts are Video quality. Would it be possible for someone (or more) to record a short video of anything, and try it on various settings (320x240, no sound, overclocking etc...) and post it on here please
Also, what is your opinion on the camera? do you think it lacks or do you think its good for the device?
ok thanks alot you guys if you cannot upload for whatever reason, send it vie email to [email protected] (add me if you wish, the more people, the merrier! )
The camera might as well not be there it is so bad. Maybe look at the Tytn (SPV M3100) it is a great phone and the camera is very good.
I can send you some photos and some videos of my cat I have taken on it if you want.
yeh that would be great haha thanks i'll pm you too and ask
Camera in BA is poor, but its ONLY for MMS, so Ppcnut, dont treat it so badly.
Curiously, before take picture, preview quality is good, (in BA) but after shoot the photo, quality decrease as though ISO goes VeryHigh to create undesirable effects.
To result from that, video recording is very good, only 15fps, but quality is good.
So maybe cam drivers can resolve that problem?
What are some general camera hacks that we can all use on our phone to improve quality or speed? Like reg hacks, or software that does a better job of taking photos, or has a business card scanner or something.
so nobdy knows? Please?
shhh... theres other people actually using the forum search function for the phone they have!
and the answer is..?

search is being limited to the last 4 days on me for some reason. That is why I ask. I am looking for all hacks and general hacks.
I can't imagine what you expect people to say, nobody can hand over a magic wand.
Picture resolution is hardware dependent. If your phone has a crappy sensor, software won't magically transform crappy pictures into high resolution ones.
Likewise, speed of taking a picture depends on shutter speed, which depends on the sensibility of the captor to the light. If your sensor has crap sensibility and you try to shoot a picture faster, it will be dark.
Finally, storing speed depends on hardware (e.g. storage card). I guess that if you were getting a very fast card, pictures could be stored faster (but I don't say noticeably faster) as long as the card is indeed your bottleneck.
So tips are:
1 - for better pics, you need a better camera.
2 - for faster saving times, you can try a faster card.
On the other hand, there are software that will let you take pictures with filters, templates and backgrounds, etc. But that doesn't make "better" pictures quality wise.
search your registry for "camera" with a registry editor.
i found somewhere that you can change the framerate or fps (frames per second) or something like that, for better VIDEO quality. though they recommended not putting it too high as it would then put too heavy a load on the system and make the videos choppy.
good luck.
ps while your searching the registry, it will be in a folder where there are directories like "3gp small" "3gp medium" "3gp large" "mp4 small"...etc... i think.
Nothing like cool camera that add more options and improves the quality a little? Thank you 256.
I see that picture quality is set at 0 and video quality is set at 2. Should i increase or decrease these numbers to improve quality.

hmm now that i dont know. try 0 and 1 and 2 and maybe three and just see what happens!! you can always change it back
and i dont think there is anything like coolcamera...wish there was! i too have looked...
Is there any tweaks or fixes which can help the lag of the camera? I find when trying to take a picture the display is some what delayed which makes it harder to capture random quick photos and videos. Also the delay in which a photo is snapped and actually taken is relatively slow. Can the performance be improved? I searched around but haven't seen much for the Touch Pro 2.
It would be great if someone had registry tweaks or cabs to increase performance!
Thanks
I know for sure you need the photos going to main memory - if you select storage card it will be slow. :-(
yea thats a good point! The main video delay is in artifical light as outdoors the display seems responive, guess the extra processing it needs to do whilst lining up a shot in darker scene slows it down
...does anyone know of any registry tweaks which could improve performance in darker light settings?
The quality of the camera, isnt good...
On some android phones, people modify some archives to activate unactivated functions [ sharpnes, contrast, color... etc ] jpeg compresion..etc
Is there any way to increase the quality image? or is the sensor of our defy?
+1,
I think the camera cuality is not good.
I believe I've seen on the russian 4pda forum an instruction how to get better photograph quality in terms of jpeg compression by editing hex values inside some binary. I'll repost once I find it.

Actually the camera is clearly better than most 5MP mobile cameras of the past two years, and offers a macro zoom.
What is still needed is some image postprocessing, which is automatically done in some high-end devices.
As for Defy you have to do it manually. However there is a suberb tool: Kodak Perfect Touch.
Shot your picture, then open your new picture, and touch on the picture to see a circled triangle in the lower right screen coin. Touch it and select Edit, then Kodak Perfect Touch!
As for a professional photographer, he would use e.g. Photoshop to correct white balance, gradient curve etc.
hello
Is there any way to improve the camera's zoom?
it can improve a rom?
photos are very nice but the zoom is not clear and very weak
B.R.
Dont think there is a way to do that. If you want good zoom probaly better off with a actual camera

The short answer is no. Your phones camera, like most smartphone cameras only has digital zoom. This is essentially the same as cropping an image using photoshop or some other photo editing software.
If you want to be able to zoom and have crisp photos, the only option is to buy a camera with OPTICAL zoom.
As a rule I have found you are much better off ignoring zoom on your camera completely, and editing it later on, and if you do use the digital zoom feature, use as little magnification as possible.
Any software updates/changes could the algorithm slightly, and in my opinion, it rarely makes much difference, and being Sony has a digital camera/SLR arm (they also bought Minolta a while back), I would suspect they have tweaked for quality already.
I ask because I previously used the desire hd and there was a very good zoom

DHD camera is not as good as arc in the first place, and the zooming function make it worse..
I had a DHD with 2.3.4 rom and zoom was very good and clear
Take the photo and zoom afterwards with a pc or an app if zhe zoom of the cam isn't good enough for you.
Arc has the BEST camera on a mobile phone...

I agree that digital zoom is not as good as optical but it has its used on the Xperia ARC. You will actually get me details zooming in than taking a full size picture which you enlarge later on.
Try the following to test this, it will only work on motives close by. Place a book 1-2 meters away from you. Take a full size picture and then take a one where you zoom in on the book. You will actually be able to read the text on the book on the zoomed picture while the enlarged full size picture will show the book as pixelated and it is difficult to read the text.
There is no difference on motives far away between the zoomed picture and enlarged full picture.
I am not sure why the objects close by contain more details when zooming than enlarging a full picture. My best guess would be that SE has some logic buildin on the photo chip that on the zoomed picture correlate pixel readings on the sensor and not just cropping and enlarging the final picture.
Please let me know if you experience the same, I am very puzzled that the zoomed picture for objectives close to the camera contain more details than the full size picture.
