LG Incite - Video Recording Format - Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking

I am wondering if it is possible to change the Video Recording Format on the LG Incite. I think the camera resolution is great but I am only able to record videos in .3gp format at 15fps. Is there a way or has anybody tried to change the recording format to mp4 or change the frame rate to record better video.
I saw somewhere that there is a European version of an LG phone that ships with a divx recorder that records up to 120fps with AVI.

i also want to know core player wont even play the video format that it defaults to. pm me if you figure it out

Changing the default WMV format to .3GP

Is there a way to make the default format for recording video to be .3gp format?
Currently, I believe its .WMV unless recording MMS video. The only problem is that MMS video only can record for 5 seconds.
So what I'm really asking is:
1. How to change the default video format to .3GP?
2. How to record .3GP video for more than 5 seconds. There must be a registry edit for this.

Just go to Capture Mode "Video" Then go Advanced Options H.263.
Thank you very much, all looks good now.

TP2 can record VGA video

I just realised the the TP2 can record VGA (640x480) video. I played with the camera settings and found that if video recording format is set at MPEG4, the resolution can be set at up to VGA quality. If the recording format is set at H264 or H263, the resolution would only goes up to QVGA.
I would have preferred H264 over MP4. But at least I now know that TP2 can record VGA video. Hopefully future updates of the HTC camera app would add H264 VGA recording.
Are there other MSM7200 devices that can do H.264 at 640x480 at any reasonable framerate? I ask because as I understand it, it's pretty processor intensive to compress that amount of data...

hello..
i have a sprint touch pro 2.
i used to have the stock sprint wm6.5 rom installed. and it used to take okay-quality videos.
yesterday, i flashed energy rom, and since then, the quality is so bad. i use the same format (mp4 VGA), but the one on the energyrom is bad. a 10 second video on the sprint rom is around 1+mb.. on energyrom, it's only around 200kb. whats wrong with this?
thanks

Any good resolution changeing apps?

I love, that g4 can take videos at such high resolution.
I dont want to record in a lower resolution, (i know just use another recorder app for that).
I want to record in high resolution, make a copy of video, and then drop the copy resolution so i can have a high ando low resolution.
Reason is because if i try to play videos i recorded on my g4 on my TV, itsays video resolution not supported. Nd its a smart TV ? also when sharing videos to other phones it has came up as "video unsupprted" or "resolution unsuportted"
Any reccomendation for resolution changer?

Mp4 Recording

Hello,
Is it possible to mod the phone to record in MP4 instead of 3GP?

Is there a video editing app when you edited your videos with any resolution/60fps that maintains the 60fps format after the changes?

I'm using Stock MIUI 12.5, I screen record gameplays at 1080p/60fps and capture footage in 1080p/60fps aswell, let's say I'm not a PC techwiz and decided to just edit video and stuff from the phone, how do you maintain the resolution and the framerate after you edit your videos? Because whenever I edit or compiled my videos, it'll always change to 720p60fps format.
Is there a free app that maintains the original format, regardless of the changes?
