You could get a notification when the messages arrive (with DB notifications), and remove them as they arrive.
If you mean some kind of setting to stop them happening, then no, the database just holds the messages themselves.

After I upgraded to WM6, I lost the "default" text message alert tone. I dont know if you guys know which one Im talking about, but I'd really like to get it back!
If anybody still has it, could they email me the file? or tell me where I can download it back.
The alert tones that come with WM6 suck and I don't know where to download text message alert tones..

I dont know what "default" alert tone you were using but most of them are stored on " My windows Mobile" in the windows folder.
But you can use any small .wav file as your tone I was using Rom 4. something and could play the catchphrase. But I know have upgraded to 6.1 and cant play it anymore. I keep getting Memory to low to play. so looking for a new one.
If you have any Music on your phone just highlight it with your pen and within the menu that pops up it asks if you want to use the file as your ringtone.
any way if I find some decent text tones I will post a link to you. OK
I know it sounds like a dumb question, and it might be, but I tried to see everywhere, but I can't seem to figure out how to pass contact numbers and names in a text on the Dash. You can do this on a RAZR, I can not believe you cant on a Dash.

Crap... now I can't remember what it is. I have enclosed an attachment that I think is the right file. Anyway, I go to a contact, select send from the menu and text message is now an option. I select what Info I want to send and the person receives a message saying something like "so and so sent you contact information for business whatever, do you wish to add them to your contacts"
The uninstall is apparently not clean since I have since uninstalled it but still have the feature.

That is not what I need.
What I mean is, say I am typing a text to you, but I then need to type in stylez number, on the razr or any other phone, you can go to options and click on Insert Number... and I select who I want and stylez number will show in my text, without me writing down first and all that.
Get it?
Also, does anyone know where I can get that feature that is found in Ricky and Stylez remade 1.7v, where when I send a new text, I can just start typing in the To: field and a list of numbers corresponding to what I am typing will appear? Without having to pick one by one?

Hello. I'm new in this form and I didn't find any application for my Xperia, that is able to make hidden calls to other mobile phones. Few days ago I found one of that kind of apps in the web but I forgot the page adress and now I can+'t find it anymore.

Can you please explain in a clear way please? 'cause sending someone a call and not not notifying the person of the call does not make sense at all.
If you want to do that, all you need to do is throw your phone in the water. Take out your imaginary cell phone and send him a call, then for the rest of your life don't tell your friend that you gave him an imaginary call.
try taping *31# then the number you want to call

Do you mean hiding caller ID? Like it would say Unknown rather than your name or number? Can do that easily in WM.

WOW, he must have meant exactly that!!! This sounds outragious... so does the price tag!!!
I have a security program on X1 that instructs (via SMS) the phone to 'call back' and thereby doing the same...giving the option to listen what's going on aroung the phone. And that call back is also not noted because its part of the security when you phone has been stolen or you lost it.
In any case, that program can do a few things more and the price tag is MUCHO lower.
yea it is ..... tho ive seen one of theese babys for sale on a used 6630 phone ... the phones price was only $100 more than the other 6630s ... straight bargain

Several years ago I found an app here called Txt Secretary which allowed me to customize my text message notification by contact so that everyone that sent me a text message had their own alert tone so I would know who was texting me just by which alert was played which I really liked a lot & it was working great until about three days ago. Now I can't find the cab that I had for the program & for some reason the program is no longer working. I really liked that program & want to be able to have different text alerts depending on who is texting me so can anyone please help me out w/this. It is really important to me to be able to have the distinction of who is texting me by the alert tone that is played. If anyone has this cab or knows where I can get it please let me know. Thank you
