[UPDATED][NEW] Black comm manager (from Trinity)

Here comes the black comm manager from Trinity!
First, special thanks to:
-Mun_rus; who I think is the one who developed this great app!
-ausdim who packet it into the pretty cab you can find here.
-Everyone for fixing the Wlan issue
EDIT: This cab should now work in allmost every case and has been tested on many roms (Faria, Black, ...).

Or better yet, just wait for new LVSW ROM coming out soon with this comm manager and possibly similarly styled phone dialer ( SERGi_k ).

Sorry, can't test now with Black, cause i'm testing Schaps Spanish version, and works fine for me.
Perhaps JJ uses different CommManager version in the Black 3.5, don't know.

Hi, first of all id like to say thanks for sharing and that i have install that cab file fine and done soft reset and clicked on comm manager on my xda trion i got a message saying "comm manager supports 7 functions at most is there any way i can get it to work.

Seems you WM version dosn't support this Commanager with 8 button... What WM version do you have?
Can you unisntall it?

This must be the reason, remember this subforum is only for WM6.
So you need to uninstall or upgrade to WM6.

The 4.1 ROM is for some issues on the 4.0. Use 4.1 not 4.0

Small problem with IE via wifi?! The wifi works perfect and fixes very fast but when i use IE seem not work, it cant find any pages?
IE via GPRS works but not with wi-fi, can any one confirm that?

Well I've tried right now and IE works with wi-fi.
Maybe something in your wireless router?
smart dial options still don't work properly.

If you need more themes, try these. Karmba can only have so many included. If you want you can add them yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!! One can not please everyone.

Seems that the download link in first page is down...maby some fix with the rom

download link removed , with old download link ROM suck , too many error.

I would assume that since Karmba only pulled down the full version and not the lite version that the lite version is OK. If you want the full version you should wait until it is reposted or use his 3.0 version, which is also very good. Hope this answers your question.

I've installed exactly this dialpad a few weeks ago and it seemed to work well

i don't use this dialpad - but i had to give it another try after your post
- and still, it's working on my Artemis very well, no issues, a little bit slow imo, but it's working

remove program, soft reset, and try install again? could be your italian rom

Weap. By the way works fine for me for about 3 weeks now with B&B v4.3 and Fracoon 's 2.2 rom.

Installed it a couple of minutes ago and it is beautifull !!!
I don't think it is slow (however I am running at 260 Mhz)

1 downside:
you cannot redial the last phone number (which shows in the screen) by pressing the green dial button or the dialbutton on screen

You 're right. Click on "history", and then green button works for me. Redial in 2 moves
I accept that (bug) because it 's beautiful.

Just installed on my T-Mob MDACIII with the original WM5 ROM, looks good and works fine.

The only problem: you need to install a new version of TASK MANAGER (see htc cabs post) to make work the X-button

uhm...i found some bug...and hope ppl help me out...
- i can't change volumn setting when i push stylet in Volumn setting...instead of appear group of 4 icon together...(very annoying...when i got a call, i can't change the volumn with jog-dial).
- Some icon in LG menu seem have wrong link problem...
for example : the "power" icon :"The system cannot find the file specified"...
"Backlight" icon and "USB stick" icon doesn't work too...
--------->finally, how to config all of this??? or it is fix and unchange???

This is regular behavior in the lastest ROM's. I don't know how "the blue ballooon" is been called.

I pressed something by accident too and saw "The system cannot find the file specified", but haven't seen it again.

rom totaly sucks, many things just not save, even registry tweaks reset after reboot ... many bugs ...

could you elaborate a little bit more on the bugs that you found?
I used the previous version .29 and was very happy with-it excellent rom, very stable and with the exception of the video call (missing and wich I don't use) everything was working flawlessly

On my trinity there is camera bug.
I push the camera button, make a photo, and then camera closed and is absent in the processes
What should I do to fix it?

For exampe - you cant change showSIM in registry its allways "1" after soft reset, pocket player doesn't remember its settings after soft reset ... and other things like these, i dont remember ....
29 version was realy cool, fast and stable and had pretty skipless A2DP without full CPU load, like in ausdim rom ... i will return to PdaViet .29 when my lasyness drop down

* Restored back Phone, Calendar, Contacts and Help icons which was missing from Programs in V3.5X
* Added OBEX Inbox
* Replaced Resco Photo Viewer with S2V (small, fast and lightweight finger friendly photo viewer with basic features in place). Kudos to A_C.
* Added Today Agenda
Minor Issue:
* Forgot to disable Calendar from Today's Items, end up both Calendar and Today Agenda are appear together. Not a big deal
For those who prefer Photo Viewer over S2V can still download & use the V3.5X as there is no major differences between 3.5X and 3.6X.
I attached here MSNWiFiFix.provxml, to apply it kindly use File Manager & open it with \Windows\CeleCmd.

Every time I do a softreset appears all over again as a hardreset if they were ... calibrate screen, hours etc.

Yup, same problem over here.. soft-resetting the device brings up the initial configuration screen.

I don't have this issue after soft reset, weird. I did a reboot from QuickMenu, not sure if that was the same with poking the reset hole?
I will try and update here. Thanks for the report.
Update: I tried soft reset by poking the reset hole and I didn't have the issue you guys mentioned.
Was the issue keep repeating on every soft reset or only one time? I suspected it is because the SDAutoRun, if it didn't detect any SDConfig.txt in the MicroSD then it will skip the screen alignment process and do a soft reset and after the screen alignment process will appear, at least once. If this was your case then it is normal.

S2P doesn't work as well
Is it just my problem? S2P doesn't work again.

I have the same problem:
SpbBackup, SoftReset (or "Hole reset") returns me to initialization screen...
