moto BT headset H800 problems - General Accessories

Just wondering if anyone has had problems with the H800 headset from Motorola. I can get it to work every once and a while. What happens is the headset is recognized as hands free, but when I try to make a call or anything that requires the mic no one can hear me. If i remove it and add it back it will work 1 maybe 2 times before having the same issue.

Bluetooth headgear disconnect mid-call

Sorry if I'm posting a question that's been answerred before, but I haven't been able to find a thread to this problem:
sometimes my Nokia BH-102 will disconnect in the middle of a conversation in the car. The only option at that time is to pull the TP2 from it's holder and put it to my ear.
Whether it's the headset or the phone, I don't know, but it used to work in combo with the old Nokia E60 I used to operate......
Chances are it's the TP2, but how to fix it?
Only 'tweak' was to install tomtom, but without the 2 dll's which have been causing some problems.
Has anybody experienced anything similar?
Bluetooth visor problem
I have had problems with my headset - Supertooth Visor One Bluetooth Car Kit. Not quite the same as you though - the problems I have is that when I make an outgoing call, everything works fine but when I recieve an incoming call the audio stays on the handset rather than coming out of the bluetooth headset - which means I have to pick up the phone. I also have installed TomTom 7 and I had to do the 2 dll fix as my bluetooth was completely broken otherwise. So I guess maybe TT7 is responsible in some way. Only thing is, I dont want to do a hard reset to find out!!
I'd already read about the Tomtom BT-issue so I cleared the 2 dll's out of the cab prior to installation.
So the originals should still be in use. BT is/was working and I have been synching using BT. That's not the problem.
There should be threads out here pointing you to the original dll's. you could past them over the current ones and see if it helps.
I experiencing the same problem, and didnĀ“t install tomtom.
So now it looks like it's a problem in the TP2 then.
Hopefully a BT-guru can investigate? This is way beyond my capabilities.
In the meantime I'll know what to do if and when it happens: take a chance on the cops seeing it and issuing a ticket.....
I'm having a similar issue, my headsets plural, have this problem. It will disconnect but what is happening is the headset is shutting down. If I hold the power button on the headset it comes back on and will work again.
If it was one headset I would think it is faulty but I've had this problem with three headsets and the Bluetooth in my car.
Is it possible that the phone is sending a shutdown command? BTW I am using the stock TMOUS 6,5 ROM and have tried some of the cooked ROMS with the same effect.

Bluetooth head set woes: the headset or the phone?

After a couple of weeks of working perfectly, I've had to abandon using my BlueTrek ST1. It started randomly changing track on me. Since my most-used application is Google Listen and that program has no option to disable headset control, there's no workaround.
Problem is, I don't know if the fault lies with the headset or the phone. And I'm not sure I can borrow anyone else's phone/bluetooth headset long enough to confirm which is the case.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Update: avoided the problem completely by using Headset Blocker. This means that I can't use the headset button to answer calls, but I can live with that.

Headset audio jack disables bluetooth.

Anyone know how to get the headset jack to NOT.shut. down the bluetooth in phone calls? I play music through the jack when driving. If a call comes in, the call is following the earphone path and bluetooth wont work until it's unplugged.
Thanks.

Bump... anyone?
Anyone know of a rom where this doesn't happen?
I've experienced this same problem. Another irritating "feature" I experienced was when I was on a call on a headset, I went to get in my car and was expecting it to connect and switch to handsfree. I even unplugged my headset FIRST before starting the car. The car and phone wouldn't connect while the call was still going on. I had to wait until I ended my call before it would connect.
My old HTC EVO 4G would handle bluetooth switching like this so easily. Extremely frustrating that Samsung can't get it right.
From what I was able to gather via Google searches, this is a known issue and there doesn't seem to be any kind of fix. I don't think switching ROM's will help although you might want to look into CM9/10.1?

[Q] headset problem

Hi there.
I'm facing an issue with my note 2 since a few weeks.
When i plug in a headset with mic to make a call, the sound isn't redirected through the headset, it remains on the phone speaker.
This is quite annoying and it used tk work perfectly. I noticed that during the call when i plug in/plug out the headset, the sound goes tbrough the headset , but only for like 1 sec, then back to speaker.
I've tried with 2 diff headsets.
FYI, during music and vid playing, the sound goes though the headsets. Really odd issue.
i also face the issue that when i activate the BT, and try to stream the music to a BT device, the sound goes back to the speaker.
It used to work also but not anymore. Its not a pairing issue, i've tried many times.
I guess both issues are connected. Any help to solve those problems would be appreciated.

No one ?
bump cause i'm still facing the issue

Bluetooth issues when making/receiving calls

Well, this is probably going to be the deal-breaker with this phone if it can't be fixed. Whenever I am in the car the device is paired with my stereo's bluetooth. When I receive or try to place a call, it automatically switches to handset or headphones (if the ghetto tape deck aux is plugged in). I have to manually switch it to bluetooth hands free, and most of the time, it doesn't work or switch over. The times that it does, I get no audio and the people on the other end can't hear me. When I try to switch back, it refuses to connect back to the device, and I have to end the call. Needless to say, it is extremely frustrating.
I have had an LG G2, Nexus 4, Galaxy S5, and other phones... and haven't experienced this problem with any of them. Is there a way to set the priority to bluetooth or fix this problem? Anyone else experiencing this?
