20080411 (Sharing) Easy WM6.1 Flashing Tool xtracted from Official RUU for beginners~

20080411 updated:
1. HardSPL is recommended !!! Thanks to mrvanx ^_^
2. If your PC is running Vista, please have a look HERE Thanks to mrvanx ^_^
3. ( be sure that you had done the HardSPL) Unzip the tool in the attachment........
- download the " Flashing tool " attached hereinafter, extract it and go to next step.
P.S. the there is a Chinese CHT rom ( xxxxx.nbh) inside the tool already for testing, please replace with your favorite rom (xxxxxx.nbh ) ^_^ if you need
3.1 Manual force the Hermes to bootloader mode,
( press side "OK" and the "power button" simultaneously, and pit the soft-reset hole for 1 second,
then ONLY release the stylus, keep squeezing the side buttons until you see the 3 colors, then release all buttons)
3.2 plug to PC (you should see the display changed to " USB", not "Serial ",
4. execute "ROMUpdateUtility.exe " in the extracted folder immediately, waiting too long may cause errors,

i use the CHT 19209 V2 for 2 days , it is a stable , fast rom in my softbank
of course , i had tried chs,wwe .....
well , just a bug , it goes to \windows when i click my favorites in the pie ,
other than this , every thing go fine ,thanks for -- elklau 's great job ,
he make CHT user happy .
besides , i like the font in the v1 but not this one ......

Known Bug: Autoconfig wont work (will show blank screen) u need to cancel it to proceed. A fix is in this rom but dunno if it is working or not (Thx Cashmore for the fix)

I face a proplem that I have update my rom but during the updating my battary was ampty and the phone turned off. the updating not completed
now my phone just start the updating then hange I try to update through th external memory but same thing happened. ... can you please help me?

i have successfully downloaded the ROM and flashed it..
basically its fast and with no major bugs..
points to note are..
1. The home clock is unclean and its hard to read from within it.. advice is to change it to something clean and easy to read,.. since the use of homescreen is to read the clock, date and appointments and alarm..
2. multiple file selection with drag and drop in file explorer is not possible.. this maybe a possible bug.
3. unsigned applications cannot be installed to Java.
checking through for more details.. will post the details as i go through checking.. meantime,.. can somebody plz download this ROM and see if they face the same kind of problems which i hav faced.. CHEERS for the rom cooker for his great effor and work...

Corrupted File
the archive is damaged when extracted with winrar plzzzzzzzzzzzz reupload the file in rapidshare

I cant downlaod from megaupload.
Someone can upload the file to another server like Zshare or Rapidshare ...etc

anything, but when i try to run the RUU
then when its about to update the ROM,
(when it should be going to a progress
bar)then it ends the activesync connection
and it doesnt update ><" is there anything
else i should be doing other than just
running the RUU.exe?

NVM, all i did was put it into
bootloader, then ran the RUU,
it JUST finished flashing now,
i'll bbl after i play around w. it
to give you some feedback =]

Nice work. A little confused at first as the device would just shut off and not go into bootloader mode. Also, I'm a newb. Thanks Dim_sum for the hint.

active sync is working for me

this version is better improved V18 as in my opnion far better than V19 which was a bunch of bugs.
this V20 is awesome. no bugs, no problems so far.
just not entirely sure why a new thread has been created for this rom as the V18 and V19 one created by rod555 is still active.

So I made this one.
Still stay in build21903 as 6.5 ROM
Note use WindowsXP to Flash I never try to use another OS to Flash this phone
And Please follow the instuction carefully
Download Here
1. MB60 USB Driver
2. MB60 DMtool V1.8 Use this toos as Flash tool
3. Radio stack Version/ Bootloader 1.0.20 by Flash this Chinese Rom Use MB60 DMtool V1.8 to flash it.
4. ROM_A3100_6.5_Lite_Build21903_Chai2porn_WWE This incould MB60 DMtool V1.8 in file
Instuction
1. Full Charging/ Power off
2. Go to download mode by Pass and hold Task ball and Endkey then pass Power on
3. Plug in USB this shuld pop up found new hardware
3. Install USB Driver
4. then check what port has been detect by
Control Panal/System/Hardware/Device Manager/Com Port/ and look for number of Attila port (ex: My port is 22)
5. Flash Chinese Rom after it done
6. Flash Motorola Surf A3100 6.5 WWE biuld 21903_by Chai2porn
After first boot Please Clean boot once by Pass and hold Send/End key and then Power on

Have a problem... Services.exe Full cpu.. problems on the graphics

thanks chaiporn....it's nice ROM just like what i need...light and good looking, with a lot of free space on memory ....but ...sadly, my past problem is happen again in this ROM, some times the sms tone wouldn't ringing when sms is coming.....so sad....
anyway,....this ROM is good...i've test it for about 24 hours and goes well....

have test your ROM
but when install SPB Mobile shell language change to Thai
even I have changed to English in reginal setting
but some icons still in Thai

i've test with spb mob shell too....but on mine, it works well, i change the regional setting to US....
but , as i said before, on mine, the problems is the sms ringtone.....wont ringin...
