I'm trying some ROM's for my brand new HD and I loved the sounds of Dutty's ROM. I have the cab's for them but can't install them in Miri's ROM.
Where can I arrange that sounds or extract them for the cabs?
Sorry if the solucion is out there, but I searched it.

But Dutty's are what I really wanted.
Maybe some day he'll make a WM6.5 rom...

Can you not just open the cab file on your pc with winrar and copy them out? might need renaming but shouldn't be hard
- EDIT better still, upload the cab and i'll do it for you

Ok, these don't have the sounds that are actually in Dutty's rom like the boss text message one, they are the tones that he took out of the rom which come with the original HTC stock rom.
Might be worth asking someone who has the rom on their phone just to go into the directory where the tones are and copying them to their sd card, then posting them on here in a zip
I'm on dutty's ROM & would love to have his tones in all the other ROMS that I try but cant find them in the file structure. Dutty must have done something to these sounds to keep them hidden from us..
I've been using dutty's ringtone .cabs with miris roms for a long time and they have always installed themselves without any problems.

can someone with a dutty 6.1 rom take the tones out of the windows directory en please post them? i used to have them and even bluetoothed them right out of the windows directory to a friend of mine but he also doesnt have them anymore

The one from WM6 you mentioned is not really complete. I give you one Jeyo SMS Backup installer which you have to install onto device memory and make the utility appears in Messaging menu also.
What exactly does it add to the Messaging Menu?
Would it be worth doing a full implimentation in the Rom or is having the .exe enough?

Having the EXE is plenty I would imagine. ****, we're lucky you're embedding that (in my opinion)!

The shotrcut to the features of making Backup/Resotring the SMSes. It's better for the stand alone installer as it give it's full features but the shortcut you'd integrated in the WM6 menu is enough for the task really.

i have chained sms here.. i like it to be saved as chained sms (all sms from one contact in one section alongwith my replies to him/her) i want to save it on my pc to read laterz too in txt file.. any software plz to help me get the sms backup in text file? preferably in chained sms format.

alas i installed it in my universal running on 6.1 and the result.. when i click on Text Message: 1 Unread
it doesnt even open the Messages section.. all other programs are working well.. even from Start menu it does nothing on clicking Messaging.. Situation is the same even after uninstalling this software..

I'm in the same situation too.. I have WM6.1 and I've already done the applock and installed the alpha-numeric app and it still doesn't show... I know this app works because I had it on my default WM6 from T-Mobile...
Or is it just not working for me?

rinku doesnt seem to be right on my phone ?
think need me help here, this is what displays after i clicked on the NRG honmescreen option.. looks like its also missing a few iconbars.. besides not being in the right postion for what is being displayed ?

Well theres a zip file u gotta put on ur pc an open otherwise goes currupt it says but just put onto your pc an tranfer the cab files to your phone but.. theres 2 that say unsecessful not sure what they are for, an theres rinku Iconbar an rinku1 Iconbar cab they both install but they both seem to install the same incons but from the display of the link it doesnt seem to install everything there is another like a xml or something does anyone know how to install that file or is it needed guessen it probably is to make it look like the screen shot on the link page, anyone ?
Are your iconbar icons in the same place as me ?
You've got a Dash, right? You should just be able to install the correct .cab file, then go into the Homescreen settings and choose the appropriate layout with the iconbar.
Which files are included in the .zip? I'm not sure which is the correct .cab for your phone...

I have a Microsoft Taiwan made HTC S621 Pro, i think we need someone who knows how to install this perfectly, anyone out there know how to install this properaly

And Two Cab files called, rinku Iconbar 404K, and rinku Iconbar1 again 404k, i installed both of these they both set my iconbars in weird spots unlike the screenshot for this Iconbar, what am i missing ??

the start button seems to go a little blurry sometimes, and is their a way to change the color of the menus? they always appear blue. other than that its pretty sweet stuff. adds to the 6.5 feel, i like it

yeah,you can chang the color,the pics are png format,chang the color with photoshop or anyother tools.

good job with the cab. I personally just converted the blue pngs to greyscale to match my grey theme. But looks good. Thanks for the effort!

in your registry HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today. adjust the Dword registry's until you have it the way you want, it might take awhile.

i would do all of the ones in the folders. i also would start by cutting them all down by half and go from there.
Seems not to work on newer builds of wm 6.5 like 23090....!

ooo.... i thought you build it from this thread.
my problem is i cannot install this app corectly...
btw: if you want to change it, you have to know the structure of the files. download the files in this thread. open it. change the image as you like, replace it to your windows folder. that's it.
i hope it will help. if i can install it corectly, i will give you the guide.

The reason why you can't use this type of menu on some builds >21812 is because the app "gwes.exe" from newer builds (23017, 28004, 23121, etc) is not compatible with this modification....All you need to do is use a compatible "gwes.exe" in your kitchen... try and see
My htc s620 after install this, it's brick!
when i edit classicblue_menuDownArrowBackground.png
and classicblue_menuUpArrowBackground.png then copy it to windows folder and restart

You have to edit the CPR with the font that you like. Place new font in windows directory of phone and edit CPR with new font. There is a link to the thread on how to edit your CPR in sticky.

I don't think anyone has made a .cab for this yet, however there is a tutorial on how to change your phone's font. You can look here for it [TUT] Changing the system and menu fonts, and fonts can be found here http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=107

The CPR is located in windows directory of your phone. If you are using WM6.5 by Ookba then you have to edit the file name : Titanium_320x240.cpr. Find this file pn your phone, then copy it to PC, where you can use notepad to edit the file. Once done, you need to copy it back to phone.

Ok so once I find (Titanium_320x240.cpr) I edit it to ("file name".cpr) or whatever font I want and put back into windows on phone? I have a notepad to edit the file name on my phone so that shouldent be a problem.. Thanks in advance!..

No.. you don't edit your Titanium 320x240.cpr to "file name.cpr" You have to edit the content of the cpr. Please refer to the link on my previous post.
Ok ill mess with the tut but Im using 3vo series rom wm 6.5, not ookba.. Is ookba more stable then 3vo? I know thats kinda off subject but I havent messed with ookbas roms before, just askin.. thanks!

Oh, Ookba is the one who cooked up 3VO. He is one of the best chef for our phone.
oh haha ok thats what I was wondering.. I didnt realize it was ookba! I think ill just stick with having the different font in My opera mini browser. Im afraid to mess with the registry besides I was having a hard time with It.. I dont want to erase My font then id be stuck not bein able to use My phone at all, LoL.. If you are no longer using the font you can rename the extention with Total Commander or Resco Explorer eg: font.ttf to font.bak then restart phone and delete it.
