FontLink system font Tahoma with Japanese font?

Hi, I want to have Japanese on my htc touch hd.
So far I put all the fonts into the appropriate folder (\windows\schriftarten for Germann language windows mobile 6.1) and linked them in the registry in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\FontLink .
However, Tahoma won't show any Japanese glyphs in sizes below 10px (shows boxes instead). I tested in word and all other fonts do, just Tahoma won't!
Is there any way to fix this without increasing system font size from 8px to 10px or above?

I heard of a few people here having Chinese... That would probably word alpng the same lines...

How to view unicode characters?

After upgrading to NFSFAN's latest 6.5 ROM on a Bell HTC Touch, how can one view unicode characters? For example, to view websites like http://www.bbc.co.uk/urdu/mobile

The compound letters written in Devnagari font are not displayed properly on my phone.
Is there any way to see all Unicode characters on HTC One V without rooting the phone ?

Not a way that I know of. And don't try font changer from the market or any other crap. It will probably break your phone!

[Q] Font not working

Hello everyone
I have htc desire hd and recently want to load bangla font on it
Tried downloading keyboard that has bangla letters or font so i can type but it does not seem to work
A person sent me a whatsapp text that has bangla message on their sony xperia tipo
But when i receive it
It comes up as empty blanks or boxes thats all
Any idea how to resolve it
Both phones are android

Japanese input

Hi all - new HTC M8 owner here.
Does the HTC Sense come with japanese input? or can a language pack be installed? I don't want to download Google keyboard just for Japanese input since it's slow and needs to change back and forth. hoping there's an easier way (like Samsung keyboard) by just swiping/pressing a key to switch between english and Japanese?
