Touchflo on Hermes

Did anyone ever successfully get touchflo to work on the Hermes? Not buttonflo, but touchflo.

Nope - the touch.dll isn't compatible.

Thanks for the quick answer Matt. I read a few threads, but was hoping I had missed the one where someone had a breakthrough.

You know about the flashbased one? I don't use it myself (anymore) because it's rather slowish and it chews up alot of memory.

What do these cabs do?

HTC Diamond OutlookEnhancement 1.0.33540.3
HTC SmartTouch
What do these do? I installed on my Hermes (found in a Hermes thread) but don't see any difference.

2. Even if you did so if they serve no purpose just uninstall them...
3. What do they do? The get installed on noobs PDAs...

haha NICE,
I think the outlook enhancment adds additional menu options and functionalities into outlook.. Not sure if the cab works per say.. and the smart touch,. No clue man.. Good luck

Figured they would enhance the outlook features. But I saw nothing. And the smarttouch was supposed to enhance the thumb wheel, but I also see nothing. Really wanted to see if I was doing something wrong.
Biggest thing I did wrong I see is ask questions to get a bunch of smart remarks.

i agree that the people here shouldn't have flamed you so hard (LOL) but you gotta understand that installing random cabs just isn't the best thing to do buddy

Oh yeah, I agree, but in the thread a bunch of people had installed it and no errors. So I figured that the outlook cab would enhance outlook so I decided to give it a try.

I think it has to do with this ... outlook enhancement I think part of PDAcorner's ROM ...
As for the other one, I don't know ... The hermes with its edges are not really designed for the touch screen environment like the touch/touchcruise so I generally don't bother with things like that.

That cab only seems to add it to "outlook contacts" rather than the msging app as well.

Mobile RSS News Reader for the Excalibur, where can I find

Hello guys, I was just cruising HTC site and went to other countries(I'm in the US) and found other Excaliburs ie dopod c730 that have a Mobile News RSS reader, does anyone know where I can get a copy of this app. thanks

Hi guys i am also looking for an rss reader for my s620 Excalibur. I used to use Dr Martin Gonzo RSS Hub on my s710 vox, does anyone know if this would work with the Excalibur ?. Runing WM6.1 080408 Final For Excalibur WWE with English - By Kavana, I dont want to install on the offchance of it working and possibly make my system buggy as i have spent too days setting up my Excalibur after rom install.

thank you very much for your help and for being a test pilot. i have went ahead and installed but have found a slight problem, any help in solving it would be appreciated, have set up rss feed to give home screen notification of an updated feed, however when i go to check my email account via my today screen i get the message (cant find rssHub or one or more components). after pressing ok i then get accsess to my email account. any idea on this problem?

Not sure but it may be because it's come from another ROM so some of the files that relate it to the email account may be missing "as in intergration"

Well I got a problem with my S621
I try to update the rom from wm5 to wm6 and know my phone is dead
I can only enter the bootloader I have try everything, from testing all the roms I have found to copy them to the sd hopping that will fix i, but is still without os.
If someone can help me with these I will really be grateful for years.
My S621 is from Mexico.

Someone on that forum said this is only Manila 2.1???? #Fail. Im pretty sure Verizon received an update with Sense 2.5, as my friend just sent me a screenshot and has the clock+weather+3 icons on homescreen..........

Also, it's Sense 2.1. I would highly doubt that Verizon is going to have 2.5. It was established a while back that the processor cannot handle 2.5 without a flashed ROM.

then your friend is running a cooked ROM. Here is the package for the Sense released in Veriozon's 6.5 rom:
