herm200 rom wwe

dear guys, please help me. i have an htc herm 200 with italian language only version 1.18.258.2. i need rom upgrade that is english only. a direct link to the sw would be greatly appreciated. thanks a lot

hi i used HTC_Hermes_SIM_CID_Unlock_v3a to unlock my Herm 200. i selected only CID unlock...after this is finished will there be any changes when i go to device information? thanks

You want see any difference just from the CID unlock. You should also install this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=296722 before you flash any ROMs. It may seem redundant since they both allow you to install any carriers ROM, but Olipro is great insurance against bricking your phone. If something goes wrong during the flashing process you will have a much better chance of recovering if Olipro is installed.

If you are looking at upgrading to the manufacture's ROM why are you here?
You need to go read how to downgrade to OEM ROM There was no need to CID unlock etc if your interest is to upgrade to your own OEM ROM.

if i'm not wrong u r italian. I Please u to do an accurate search inside the forum, using the search tool, before to do a question where the answere are alredy given thousands times.

im not italioan thats y i unlock cid to make the language in english only but whenever im doing the rom update it is showing error. ive done what i understand here in the forum thats why im asking for assistance

Can be translated a ROM? And if thus it is, as it is possible to be done, since desire to translate the WM6.1 to Spanish since until now there is no version in official Spanish…

Hehe if you just translate mui from english to your lang- its not be working. You also wanna need translate some registry keys, add your lang to registry,translate *.provxml files etc. Its very big work- one time i was try to translate ROM. I translate all, but rom not worked normal. Also if you be translate mui you need signed it off and after translate signed on this files. Its a long way .

I was going to post near enough the same thing a hell of alot of work with no gurantee.

Possible solution..
Time ago, when I was lucky enough to have an HTC Advantage, I was able to use this utility...with the language packs of the second post, you were able to simply select your language and change the mui of the os...all nice except this was done for wm5/6 and for vga devices, but maybe some smart guy could take the .cabs and do the miracle: have the wonderful new roms in our language (mine is spanish)...

I dont know alot of this but im willing to learn hehe and im making some testing with my device and just changeing the .mui files i had some results but it says its using english language hehe so basicaly it replaces english text lines on mui files and thats all and seems to work so far but still im testing

As I found a lot of people to download the rom without reading forumhtc.com, I've password protected the download link to 3.50, so now you MUST download 3.51. Differences are not so important, but 3.51 is better.

It's difficult to follow two different forums to support users.
In add, this is a place to research and develop new things, but my rom is very "conservative" as my first goal was to get just a good working rom for everyday use.
Finally www.forumhtc.com is good forum too and italian users often prefer to write in italian, even on xda-developers

Please, attend an italian couse
I'm joking, but why don't you look at Team CV93+Oggi, for example? It's a greath wwe manila rom, and I'm surely not a better cooker than them. Give a try also to tnyynt roms, they are almost perfect!
Cooking a rom takes a lot of time, I've done it because I mr. Ervius left us Italian guys without new roms (he got a diamond now) but really, there are a lot of very good wwe rom.
PS:I gived a try to all these roms and tried to learn from them how to cook mine

touch in "programmi"
hi Claros.
Compliments for this fantastic Rom.
I would want to ask you some explanations. is it possible to also train the touch on "programs?" if in fact enter in programs I cannot move in the briefcase with the fingers but I must choose the various programs with the central pad of the trinity or with the the side small wheel. besides I have noticed that often, while I am composing a mail or a sms, the system in automatic it annuls the job that I am developing and it turns in home page.

vorrei chiederti alcuni chiarimenti. è possibile abilitare il touch anche su "programmi"? se infatti entro nei programmi non posso spostarmi nella cartella con le dita ma devo scegliere i vari programmi col pad centrale del trinity o col la rotella laterale.
inoltre ho notato che spesso, mentre compongo una mail o un sms, il sistema in automatico annulla il lavoro che sto svolgendo e mi riporta alla schermata principale della home.

Improved Functions and Fixes
1. When you launch the Camera while the system is working on other programs, the preview screen may become black.
2. When playing a video, sometimes a portion of the video will be cut off a little bit.
3. Fixes Audio playback problem with the speaker. Specific issues: sometimes the music will turn off and on after 10 minutes, or there is a buzzing sound or no sound at all.
4. Fixes the problem of not being able to receive MMS when in standby mode.
5. When launching music via the Music tab on TouchFLO 3D, the sound may intermittently turn off for a second and come back on.

Working one it

Eu peguei o HTC Image editor mais não consegui exportar o arquivo SHELL32.dll, ele contem bastante texto do sistema, pelo menos no Windows Xp é assim !
Ja viu a ROM VIC 3.5?

Original shipped ROM with ARTEMIS

Dear all,
I have an updated ROM for my ARTEMIS installed by the service center and would like to get a copy of it before trying out some new cooked ROMS. The information shown at the booting screen are:
IPL 3.13.0001
SPL 3.13.0000
GSM 02.94.90
OS 3.13.0.0
Where can i find this exact ROM or information how to identify ROM version?

Can i just say thank you so much for putting this up i had to put this phone back to default so i could sell it so really appreciate it. Good work looks like when i got it

Good luck, but do not sell this piece of art. I've been using it for four years, it is amazingly upgradable, accept all cooked ROMs, and works just fine.
